STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! All of them are scammers. They lower their prices to attract new buyers and at the end they add on hidden fees to bring their price back up. One of their hidden FEE is a paint protection for ($799) WHEN THE CAR WAS ALREADY SCRATCHED.. it's a SCAM and they will raise the car price on the contract and not tell you hoping that you will sign with out looking!!!! Watch out for Fat Steve, Henry, Louis, mark the finance manager. They're going to try a be super friendly so that they can sneak fees. THEY'RE scammers and THEY JUST WANT YOUR MONEY

Part of The sales experience was good. We met with Ron with whom we had been in contact with via internet. We were able to secure the car with a deposit. The car was one of the lowest in the nation so we were excited to pick it up. We met Ron in person and he was a very well seasoned salesperson. He knew what he was talking about, shared valuable tips and answered all questions we had. We did not feel rushed. He gets a 4 star . The second portion of our sales experience was lost. We did not get our registration nor license plate for over 5 months. After the first month followed up with a few calls to see what was going on. The finance guy Tony is who we spoke with. He said we needed to send specific documents that were not initially required per the signed sales agreement. So we printed out, signed, and FedEx'd the said documents. The documents were received the next day. We followed up yet again and Tony said that he was in the process of submitting the paperwork to the DMV and that we should have our plates within the month. That never happened. So we waited another 2.5 months before we went to the local DMV to see what the hold up was. We explain what has happened on our behalf and the DMV lady pulls out a license plate, and registration sticker on the spot! I was like DAMNNNN! Boy was I thrilled. So, 5 months later I finally have a license plate and registration. BOO to AVIS and especially Avis in Pompano, Fl. DON'T DO IT!!!! You'll be burdened, sad, angry, frustrated, and most of all Tired!

Our 16 year old was in need of a car, and my husband was determined to find a late-model, low-mileage vehicle for her. We found that Avis car sales had the best selection and best prices in our area. Our sales person, Rachel Brown, was amazing. I can't imagine anyone (myself included) having the patience to let a 16 year old girl drive what seemed like half a million cars until she decided what she wanted (within our budget). Rachel was so great, we ended to buying two vehicles...one for the 16 year old, and an additional vehicle for her 18 year old sister. Rachel has a great career ahead of her. Give her a call and tell her Tracy and Jay sent you.

So we found a car outside the area. We paid the have it transported here from another Carmax. We contacted a local GM dealer and found that Carmaxs Equifax reporting (versus Carfax) was incorrect and manufacturer warranty was finished. We also found the CPO on file was never paid for original dealer and thus not in effect. Urgh .... So we reach out after hours by chat to discuss cancelling and to find out the process when they were incorrect. Not to worry, the car was on a test drive and being sold today. Didn't you see the refund pending for delivery you paid ??? What ... So in effect the delivery was paid and funds received. The car was on hold and Carmax allowed another buyer to test drive and buy a unit held for transport. Then they just refund the money and fail to alert via phone and email. Wow ! Now again we were going to cancel and all is well in end. We won't likely ever consider Carmax for a buy in future however. Bad info on cars, poor hold and transport policies, and true lack of empathy around their business model and loopholes. Just another typical car dealer experience !!!

You go to the lot and you spot what car you want to test drive and they will then set you up with the test drive. I guess it's a good system if you don't see anything you like and you don't waste a salesperson time, but I thought that was kind of odd. We walked around for about 15-20 min and did not find anything that caught our eyes. But at least we now know how it works.

The saddest part of this review is that I'm a returning customer, been to Hgreg Lux 3 times and…read moreHgreg once each time I bought a vehicle. This experience was one of my absolute worst in 60 years. Steve is a nice guy but he's lazy, I told him a day in advance I wanted to trade my Porsche GT4RS for an X6M which they had priced at the absolute top of the price range which means MINT condition. I drove two and a half hours only to find the drivers side bumper had substantial damage enough so they couldn't fix it on site. We had all the numbers worked out the day before I got there meaning this transaction should have taken about 30 minutes but because of the damage they tried to fix it on site. After their first attempt which included a detail, Steve told me the BMW was good to go, I asked if the damage was fixed he said it was I went outside to look and it absolutely was not, the deep scratched were still there so either he lied to me or he didn't do his due diligence and check for himself either way he failed. I spent 4 1/2 hours there waiting for something they could have taken care of before I got there, they could have told me about the damage before hand and I would have told them to fix it and let me know when it's good unfortunately Steve had no idea of the damage but I assure you someone there did and they dropped the ball. Four and a half hours of my time wasted then Steve tells me he can find a guy near my house to fix it at their expense. He did and that guy was over an hour away from me so I had to take the X6 in for them to look at, 2 hours of my time, then I had to take it back days later to drop it off another 2 hours and I had to rent a car at my expense, when it was finished another 2 hours of my time so in total that was about 10 and a half hours of my time for something they should have fixed before I drove 2 and a half hours to purchase it. I also asked Steve to please have my check waiting for me since my car was worth at least 40k more than theirs and yes they agreed to pay me just over 40,000 dollars, but there was no check. I asked Carlos, the person in finance if the check would be FedExed to me he said it would and I would receive a confirmation number so I could track it, two weeks later I received my check with 0 notification that it was on it's way, two weeks later I don't know about you guys but if I buy a car from Hgreg they want their money NOW LIKE RIGHT NOW but when they owe money they take their sweet ass time. For sure I will think twice before going here for another vehicle if I do I promise there will be no surprises I will not only make sure the vehicle is on site, which I found out they have two locations where they store their cars, and I will make sure the care is flawless if their asking top dollar. I found they marked up the Porsche I traded in by 25,000 dollars so rest assured if I do business with them again the first thing I'll do is take about 15k off the asking price if they don't like that too bad so sad. The owner of Hgreg should do his due diligence get to this location and get it running right.

Chad handled everything from start to finish, providing top-notch service that was both friendly and professional. Living in PA while the dealership is in FL, I was initially hesitant, but Chad and the team made me feel secure and well taken care of throughout the entire process. Chad was so accommodating and even FaceTime'd me so that I could see the car and hear it running etc. Expert Auto even took the car on my behalf to the PPI I arranged, which was a huge relief, especially when I had to set up a second inspection due to a miscommunication with the first. Sam and Chad were understanding and accommodating, which I truly appreciated. Negotiations were fair and quick, and the paperwork was a breeze. They also helped me arrange for the car to be transported up to PA from FL at a very fair price through a 3rd party that they work with. I have zero complaints and would give them more than 5 stars if I could! They're changing the game for used car sales (absolutely nothing like the stereotype), and I've already recommended them to some friends. Thanks so much again, Chad and Sam! You guys are the best! I tried to give it a chance, but after this encounter, I can't say they are the best to go with. If you can, it's better to just buy the vehicle straight from the maker's dealership. Instead of the whole story, I will list the pros and my story for the cons. *Pros* Fast - In and out in a few hours Friendly(ish) - Majority of the staff was welcoming *Cons* TLDR - Chad sold me a van and failed to mention all of it's multi-thousand dollar issues beforehand (check engine light came on the 2nd day after being bought!), and for some reason falsely accused me of lying on several occasions, which I considered odd as I took time out of my week trying to help us BOTH out and there is literally no reason to lie! I just wanted good service and to go on about my day! Very disappointed in how service and communication was conducted at Expert Auto Group. Summarized story: I bought a sprinter van with Chad being the one to sell it to me. Did a thorough walk-around and noticed it was pretty banged up but could possibly be fixed. Noticed light coming in through the van, and asked about it and he said it shouldn't be an issue. Bought it, then it rained a few days later and flooded a portion of the van next to the electronics I had there and almost got me ELECTROCUTED since I was near it! Confronted Chad and he insist there was no leak even though there was water in the van during our walk through before I bought it, but I thought it was something else, but then it started to click. Eventually he offered to fix it and I shopped around for days trying to look for the best price so that it wouldn't hurt any of our pockets and it was hard to get someone who could work on a van that size, so he offered to have someone he knows fix it. Dropped my van off for 4 days thinking this body shop guy is fixing the huge dent and leak spot that I've been telling Chad I can't find anyone to fix. This guy "fixes" the leak with some weird, ugly, white paste in 2 spots that of course doesn't match my van AND all the dents are still on the vehicle!!! Then Chad tells me out of nowhere it's $300 out of pocket for me! No heads up or anything on my 2hr 30min drive over here saying that I was going to pay that much, and no pictures to show what was done! I asked why this terrible job was $300 and where was the receipt and he asked me why I need a receipt.. The guy "supposedly" charged him $800 for the sloppy work and I am just supposed to believe it without an invoice or any proof. Could have just been making that number up! If he would have given me an estimate beforehand, like I gave him the courtesy of trying to find a good one for him, I would have told him I'll just buy the materials and he can cover a portion of that. Would have saved me the long drive and multiple days without a van. Plus I would have gotten some of the dents out as well for way less. Then I told him I already had to pay for a lot of damages to the vehicle after I drove it off the lot. Things he failed to mention that were busted before I bought this thing, like broken seatbelt sensor which cost $338. Also, the 2 front broken tire pressure sensors, clogged DPF filter, faulty up & downstream NOX sensors which all in total would have equaled a few THOUSAND more dollars, but my local Mercedes with ACTUAL 5 star service looked out for me and made me feel like they were actively trying to save me money with suggestions and tips! I mentioned the damages to Chad and he didn't believe me and wanted proof, yet he could not provide the proof of the $800 "roof leak fix". Then he said I did some major wiring in the van that could have caused some damage which shocked me because I was trying to figure out what he was talking about since I DIDN'T EVEN DO THAT! Just a straight lie! Anyway, now I'm down $300 more and drove home feeling conned. If 5 stars is what they wanted, it should have been a stress free buying experience!

Vehicle prices seem high, however market is challenging and up priced currently and they may offer fair value if mileage is correct and cars in good shape offered. Most cars did show low mileage but any accident deterred us from considering purchase at prices marked. A lot of units appeared senior owned previously. Salesperson was jovial and light. He offered that all cars were open and most had keys to start and test. He was a little surprised that we recognized body work, repainting, and bolts rusting and unmatched. He did offer that pricing on EBay was current and very little negotiation was possible. We passed as the only units that seemed to meet our wants were sold and awaiting shipping. Throughout the sales process, I repeatedly asked questions about the financing terms, the total cost of the vehicle, and exactly what I would be responsible for paying. Salesperson Jeremy Rivas consistently focused on my BMW X1 trade-in, my $15,000 down payment, and the monthly payment of $1,444.79. I spent hours reviewing the numbers and trying to fully understand the transaction. I still have the worksheet used during the negotiation. It contains the trade-in value, down payment, monthly payment, and financing term. However, it does not mention a balloon payment of $42,568.75 anywhere on the document. I left the dealership believing my obligation consisted of my trade-in vehicle, my down payment, and 36 monthly payments. Only later, after logging into my BMW Financial Services account, did I discover that the contract included a final balloon payment of $42,568.75. My complaint is not that the balloon payment exists. My complaint is that such a significant financial obligation was never clearly explained to me despite my repeated questions and despite the obvious language barrier. Had this obligation been clearly disclosed and explained, I would never have agreed to this financing structure. Customers deserve transparency and clear communication when making major financial decisions. Unfortunately, that was not my experience at BMW of Pompano Beach.
