I recently purchased a 2015 VW GTI from Expert Auto Group through Auto Trader, and my experience was truly exceptional! Chad handled everything from start to finish, providing top-notch service that was both friendly and professional. Living in PA while the dealership is in FL, I was initially hesitant, but Chad and the team made me feel secure and well taken care of throughout the entire process. Chad was so accommodating and even FaceTime'd me so that I could see the car and hear it running etc. Expert Auto even took the car on my behalf to the PPI I arranged, which was a huge relief, especially when I had to set up a second inspection due to a miscommunication with the first. Sam and Chad were understanding and accommodating, which I truly appreciated. Negotiations were fair and quick, and the paperwork was a breeze. They also helped me arrange for the car to be transported up to PA from FL at a very fair price through a 3rd party that they work with. I have zero complaints and would give them more than 5 stars if I could! I usually don't write negative reviews, but to save you the trouble, I can't in good faith recommend buying from this company. I tried to give it a chance, but after this encounter, I can't say they are the best to go with. If you can, it's better to just buy the vehicle straight from the maker's dealership. Instead of the whole story, I will list the pros and my story for the cons. *Pros* Fast - In and out in a few hours Friendly(ish) - Majority of the staff was welcoming *Cons* TLDR - Chad sold me a van and failed to mention all of it's multi-thousand dollar issues beforehand (check engine light came on the 2nd day after being bought!), and for some reason falsely accused me of lying on several occasions, which I considered odd as I took time out of my week trying to help us BOTH out and there is literally no reason to lie! I just wanted good service and to go on about my day! Very disappointed in how service and communication was conducted at Expert Auto Group. Summarized story: I bought a sprinter van with Chad being the one to sell it to me. Did a thorough walk-around and noticed it was pretty banged up but could possibly be fixed. Noticed light coming in through the van, and asked about it and he said it shouldn't be an issue. Bought it, then it rained a few days later and flooded a portion of the van next to the electronics I had there and almost got me ELECTROCUTED since I was near it! Confronted Chad and he insist there was no leak even though there was water in the van during our walk through before I bought it, but I thought it was something else, but then it started to click. Eventually he offered to fix it and I shopped around for days trying to look for the best price so that it wouldn't hurt any of our pockets and it was hard to get someone who could work on a van that size, so he offered to have someone he knows fix it. Dropped my van off for 4 days thinking this body shop guy is fixing the huge dent and leak spot that I've been telling Chad I can't find anyone to fix. This guy "fixes" the leak with some weird, ugly, white paste in 2 spots that of course doesn't match my van AND all the dents are still on the vehicle!!! Then Chad tells me out of nowhere it's $300 out of pocket for me! No heads up or anything on my 2hr 30min drive over here saying that I was going to pay that much, and no pictures to show what was done! I asked why this terrible job was $300 and where was the receipt and he asked me why I need a receipt.. The guy "supposedly" charged him $800 for the sloppy work and I am just supposed to believe it without an invoice or any proof. Could have just been making that number up! If he would have given me an estimate beforehand, like I gave him the courtesy of trying to find a good one for him, I would have told him I'll just buy the materials and he can cover a portion of that. Would have saved me the long drive and multiple days without a van. Plus I would have gotten some of the dents out as well for way less. Then I told him I already had to pay for a lot of damages to the vehicle after I drove it off the lot. Things he failed to mention that were busted before I bought this thing, like broken seatbelt sensor which cost $338. Also, the 2 front broken tire pressure sensors, clogged DPF filter, faulty up & downstream NOX sensors which all in total would have equaled a few THOUSAND more dollars, but my local Mercedes with ACTUAL 5 star service looked out for me and made me feel like they were actively trying to save me money with suggestions and tips! I mentioned the damages to Chad and he didn't believe me and wanted proof, yet he could not provide the proof of the $800 "roof leak fix". Then he said I did some major wiring in the van that could have caused some damage which shocked me because I was trying to figure out what he was talking about since I DIDN'T EVEN DO THAT! Just a straight lie! Anyway, now I'm down $300 more and drove home feeling conned. If 5 stars is what they wanted, it should have been a stress free buying experience! read more

I must admit that as a female, I fear having to fix my car or purchase a new/pre-owned vehicle because I am so unfamiliar with the process and don't want to be scammed. At Expert Auto Group, I was "beyond pleased" with my experience. The dealership has two locations (east Deerfield and Margate) with hundred (s) of vehicles to choose from--they accommodate all budgets, from economy to luxury sedans & exotics. I was treated with respect and was impressed with the dialogue with their experienced salesmen to help me understand my financing options. All of the employees in each department went "above and beyond" with excellent customer service. Ron was such a great resource and Mike gave me a great value. We recently moved to South Florida so we didn't know any of the dealers around. We saw a car we liked on Craigslist and we thought is was from Expert Auto. It turns out the car we saw on craigslist was from the next dealership When we pulled into Expert Auto, I saw our VW EOS displayed at the entrance. I have always liked VW's and thought, let me test drive it and see how it is. Both my partner and I fell in love.It is a super quick car and a hard top convertible. The price was decent as well. All though I am sure as any car dealers go they probably could have come down a little more, I never was a haggler, however they had come down a lot and considering we traded in our 2002 Caddy I am very happy with the price. Also, I was told on some of the VW EOS Forums that I got a good price. We had the car checked out by our local (our friends trusted) mechanic and he grinned and said you got a good, fun car. There were a few little things that need to be fixed side mirror control button, and other little things and I will be taking it back when I pick up the license plate and as promised they said they would fix them. I felt NO Pressure while I was on the lot, Brian was extremely knowledgeable on his inventory and a good person to work with. I would Highly recommend purchasing from them. If I could leave no stars I would. The salesman Kevin was awesome. Test drive with Kevin liked it so I decided to purchase. Filled everything out and requested that the rear brakes and the car be balanced as agreement since it's sold as is. Kevin has me sign a document stating they will fix this. The other store picked up the vehicle Fri at 6pm. I arrive at the Deerfield beach location to pick up the vehicle. Very disorganized office no one knows anything and this person said this but then this lady blames kevin. Kevin's telling her I don't need it then finally we're at an agreement I don't need my old plate since it's within 30 days of my registration and they are going to give me a paper plate. I ask about the maintenance then the owner gets involved. Tells me his mechanic looked at it and did what was needed to do. When i look at the back brakes I notice they look the same. He states they did not balance the tires but he changed the brakes. I asked for paper work showing what they did to my vehicle. Once I request proof of the brakes being repaired. The owner looks at me and states I DONT WANT TO SELL YOU THIS VEHICLE ANYMORE. The owner refused to do what was part of the contract so backed out when I demanded he do what was stated in the contract. BEWARE WOMEN AND ELDERY!!!! read more

Please do not buy a car here. Look at other reviews including mine. I purchases a 2010 VW CC from this place and have had nothing but major issues with the car. These people were nice at first but then started catching mad attitudes with me when I kept bring the car back in for repairs. The car has had a fuel pump change, oil assembly change and many more major problems. I wrote a review on google and they had the nerve to say the car had over 90000 and was AS-IS. I believe they frauded me and did not tell me known issues with the car. PERIOD. DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE. My car still is having issues with the oil pressure. You were warned. Do not buy from this dealer, they are liars. We purchased a vehicle from them and in 7 days we broke down. We took the vehicle to get serviced at Gunther and to our surprise the vehicle needed a ton of work that equal up to more then 4000 after we had just paid 8000 cash. Per Gunther dealer the vehicle could not have even been inspected because it had a CV boot leak. These people are thefts and liars, they try to convince you that they will take care of any problems you have with the car in order to cover their misleading statement of maintaining the vehicle. They also don't want you to take the car to anyone else but themselves so they can cover up their negligence. They said the vehicle was in perfect condition, we would have no problems with it, etc., when we drove the vehicle home that same day it rained, the wipers were stripped, or lets say shredded! what kind of maintenance is that? and no windshield fluid, these are minor things. I bought a 2012 Ram 1500 Crew Cab Laramie truck in December. The car had a 30 day warranty. I've reported a problem with the air conditioner and the transmission. They asked me to leave the car at the dealer for them to solve the problem. The car has never been repaired and the problems are increasing every day. The last time I spoke to Ange she told me to go to the dealer so they could solve the problem. Yesterday when I checked it she questioned how long the warranty was. I told her it was 30 days. She soon said that I needed to buy an extended warranty because my car was expensive to maintain. She wrapped me all the way until the guarantee offered by the dealer expired. Another thing they do not leave and you take the car to a mechanic to check. The seller gets in the car and tells you the way you have to do it.
