    To me it's crazy to think of a car rental location as being good enough for a five star rating but…read moredamn if this Alamo location hasn't time and time again proven to be top notch in every way. Rate: Usually not the cheapest at the airport but by no means is it the most expensive either. You can try to save a few bucks by going with someone like Thrifty or Enterprise but then as the saying goes with you get what you pay for either in terms of car selection/quality/being asked fifty questions as to why you won't accept every add on they ask you about. Car: They initially gave me a Ford Fusion that looked alright but the trunk was very small due to it's odd design and when I got inside it looked like Cookie Monster rented the car before me as there were crumbs all over the front two seats and in the center console. A quick trip back to the counter led to a free upgrade to an almost new 2017 Chevy Impala LTZ which was a really sweet ride in every way. Service: As I mentioned prior, I felt the need to go back to the counter versus sitting in dirt/filth/crumbs and the person I dealt with had no problem giving me keys to whatever as she was mortified about the condition of the first car. It would be nice if they would have someone out in the temporary rental lot to do returns like other companies have but that's not a big deal as the walk to the terminal is very short. Overall it was another good experience with Alamo. They get the fifth star from me simply because over the years they've proven time and time again that at least in this area they have the best mix of service + car selection + price. Even with the small hiccup on the first car I have no problem recommending them to anyone.

Was told someone would be at the desk by customer service around 4 pm…read moreuntil 1 or 2 am, walked up around 1130pm and the lights were off and whomever was supposed to be there had locked up and left. Customer service unable to contact anyone local, so no help was coming. Was told to return tomorrow for car. Was just left stranded at the airport by this company. I hope the clown who left before the shift ended losses the job.

    You know, it might just be me, but I've never been a fan of corporate mergers…read more The companies always sells it as some panacea that will be better than peanut butter and jelly with all of these "amazing synergies" but too often it turns in to something more like tuna fish and raspberry syrup. Case in point, the Budget & Avis merger from ten years ago. What you have at this location is a general ineptness and incompetence that's truly hard to beat. 1. Prepare to be downgraded (without any compensation or benefit to you) or given The Hard Nine with being forcibly upsold since there's a good chance the size vehicle you reserved isn't available. 2. Booked satellite radio in advance or chose it as an add on at the counter? Good f-ing luck with that. The agent will tell you the car has it except when you get to the car, you'll find out really quick it's not Sirius XM capable. This location for both Budget and Avis likes to have a lot of Kia vehicles in their fleet except most Kia models in general are not built with Sirius XM as an option. The car radios are from 1995. It's a 1/2 step over having a damn 8-track player. Now comes my favorite part, the old misdirection blame game. If you have any billing issues or issues in general the actual location takes no responsibility and tells you to call the corporate 800#. If you make the mistake of calling them, you get into a conversation with a rep. whose command of English is rudimentary at best and in the end only wants to route you back to the location where the rental was at which of course restarts the cycle all over again. I get it. Budget at times has some decent rates especially if you pre-pay. Don't fall for it. Far too much frustration, bullshit and credit card chargeback headaches needed after the fact to get Budget to make things right and live up to their end of the deal.

It took us over half an hour dealing with an incompetent girl to get a rental car, and we needed assistance from the local police. In the end, we switched to AVIS, which was the same price AND took less than 5 minutes to rent a car. Long story short. We made a reservation a week before the trip to the SFB airport in Orlando, FL for a mid-size SUV. However... once we arrived to Dollar kiosk, the girl with a teenage face told us that they had no car available at the rate we rented the car for. She told us with a smile that for an extra $35 daily, she can upgrade us to a Volvo. We declined and asked for a manager's assistance - she refused to call the manager. We asked for help renting a more affordable car, as they advertise - she refused. We asked again for the manager - she said that he is not present. We did create a new reservation online. The audacity in Dollar Car rental must be on sale, because she refused to further assist us and asked us to leave, but this time - we REFUSED. This immature girl called 911, and an officer had to come and explain to her how to do her job. She almost cried. My wife, meanwhile, made a reservation at AVIS, and after a half-hour nightmare at Dollar / Hertz Rental in SFB, we got a car in a few minutes from AVIS. When we were leaving Dollar / Hertz Car Rental and the officer left, the girl was screaming at us that I can go ahead and call a corporate and make a complaint. I am not sure if she is mentally impaired or just had her period, but we didn't ask. However, I did make two phone calls to Dollar Car Rental customer care after we returned from the vacation. Each time a Dollar rep hangs up on me. So you can see how Dollar / Hertz cares about the quality of their service. Our advice is to avoid unrealistic prices and GARBAGE service at Dollar / Hertz Car Rental, as it may ruin your vacation. You know what they say, you get what you pay for. The aircraft itself looked attractive, and the majority of cabin crew members worked hard throughout the journey. However, cabin cleanliness declined slightly as the flight progressed. A few passengers were loud and inconsiderate, while some lavatories required additional attention after several hours in the air. Although JetBlue provided excellent customer-focused service, convenient route options, and professional cabin crews, the inconsistent customer support, disappointing seat comfort, and minor cleanliness concerns overshadowed some of the positives. Would I fly JetBlue again? Yes, particularly for travel along the West Coast and across North America.
