This location provided the absolute worst customer service I've received in a long time…read more We had booked a rental several days before the scheduled pick up date only to arrive in the morning and we're told that there was no reservation for us. After informing explaining that we DID make one, the rep found it in the system but told us he didn't have a vehicle for us! He quickly said none of the locations had any. When we asked why he didn't call us to let us know ahead time he said he was working alone. We were confused as to why he couldn't make a call even if he was alone, but that morning he had at least 2 other employees there at that time. We stepped outside and immediately called the next closest location and spoke to the rep there. She was very helpful and immediately told us she did have one available (even though the rep from Dartmouth said there weren't any). Obviously he didn't call or make any attempt to help us since it was so easy for us to call and do it ourselves. The representative at the Dartmouth location was unbelievably rude and clearly customer service is not his strong suit. After this experience I cannot recommend this location. The Fall River location was wonderful and extremely polite and helpful. Go there instead.

They gave me an EV that we loved. Then they let me know for a small fee I could drop it off near the ferry in Oak Bluffs as we were leaving MV to go to Maine. Any time I called with questions they responded quickly with good and helpful answers. On the day we dropped off the car the owner's son,Henry Wallace, offered to take us to the ferry landing as we had a lot of luggage. I'd say with 50 years of travel and car rental experience they rate at the top of the list.
