When the vehicle I reserved wasn't available at the time of my arrival and the other similar vehicles in the same class did not provide the equal amount of legroom Angelica and Justice went out of their way to ensure that they found me a vehicle that was comfortable for the needed legroom as I am 6'4". The follow-up communication as to how I was pleased during the course of my rental was extraordinary to say the least. We were desperate to get home to San Diego but kept hearing from insurance companies and tow companies that we'd have to sit tight til the morning. My hopes were still high in finding a tow company but we needed to secure a rental to drive back home too. The only rental car company currently open was Hertz in Yuma and when I called, Gloria picked up. I very briefly told her about our situation and she was immediately empathetic and she just insisted she'd be there when I got there no matter what. We finally got a tow and headed to Yuma. When I got to Hertz at 10:20pm, Gloria was there ready with our car just as she promised and as she assured me the whole night that she would. She was so kind, personable and understanding-I swear I could have cried when I hopped into that rental. My heart is still so full and I still believe I witnessed a Christmas miracle then. It was such a stressful night and Gloria was just this bright light in it all. I know we were blessed, I know we got lucky, and I still shake my head thinking about it all and smile. Naturally I didn't want to pay more for the rental so I chose the mustang. The range is horrible, you can't even make it to the next city without stopping and charging plus with the cost to charge this is equal to a vehicle that gets 14mpg. I will not be ordering another rental car from them!

He refused to honor the rate made online and demanded to see an employee photo id card and corporate credit card in order for me to pick up my vehicle. My company does not even issue those. I travel for work and have never been asked, let alone required to have them. I provided a copy of my paystub with my business card but was still unable to secure my rental. This is extremely frustrating considering my pick up was for 1645 and they close at 1700. There are limited options here in Yuma but I would not recommend this location.

Extremely Disappointing Experience…read more I reserved a cargo van on June 28th for July 14th at 8:00 AM at the Budget Truck Rental location at 3040 S Pacific Ave, Yuma, AZ. I received a confirmation email and printed it out. I also called the local office six times the week before to confirm the reservation, and each time I was told the van would be there. When I arrived at 7:45 AM, the office was closed. It didn't open until 8:15 AM, even though the posted hours said 8:00. When someone finally arrived, they told me they couldn't find my reservation. I showed them my printed confirmation, and only then did they locate it--but they still said they didn't have the van I reserved. This caused major disruption. I had taken time off work, and someone else had done the same to help me move. I called customer service and was told a manager would call me back within 30 minutes. That never happened. I called again and was told to wait two hours. Still no call. After multiple follow-ups over two days, I finally spoke with a manager who told me there was nothing they could do--not even from Phoenix, which I offered to drive to. This was an incredibly frustrating and unprofessional experience. A confirmed reservation should be honored, especially after multiple confirmations. I would not recommend this location to anyone.

So we took a taxi to the Avis rent a car and waited 15 minutes to be told there was no car. So now we have to take another taxi. Money expended and time spent with no product received. You would think a large corporation could hire competent IT guys. So the lesson is that tech is not reliable at Avis. Do not trust them. Use any other app.
