The handyman that I had been using I trusted because he helped my dad, so when he said he needed new pumps or everything was working great, I paid and just assumed it was done correctly. Last summer when it wasn't working correctly, he just never responded at all. I called Case Construction and Roofing to see if they had someone to shut it off in the Fall and they did. I called them to come get it running this year. There were 2 giant holes that just made the water run right out and never even get the pads wet. He asked if I have had a larger water bill and I have, like a LOT more the last couple of summers and I just assumed it was the sprinklers. They told me that my "handyman" put duct tape over the hole. He also said that one of the pumps wasn't even hooked up, the other one didn't work and the last one was dying. They also told me I needed new nets as they hadn't been replaced like I had thought. There was also a hornet's nest that had been in there and the water line had so much calcium in it that it was barely getting any water through. I bought 3 new pumps and the nets. He fixed it beautifully! Every pump is hooked up and running, the water line is working, the holes are fixed and the hornets nest is gone. My house is COLD again and I'm in tears of gratitude that Case Construction and Roofing is honest and fixed this for me. Korey's bid was not the cheapest we got. However, he was the only person that demonstrated a well-thought through vision for our basement, not just a view of patching up walls and putting down carpets but a sophisticated and detailed vision, which we liked and appreciated. From the first time he came over for a bid, he set our expectation to a reasonable time range. However, throughout the construction period, he would take the initiative to move up the scheduling whenever possible, even if that means he had to call to schedule and then reschedule. This has cut down a significant amount of construction time we prepared ourselves for, which makes us happy. Throughout the construction period, he is very responsive to our questions and comments. He is also very knowledgeable of different considerations we were facing, ex. how to design the ceiling of the theater room we wanted so the odd air duct could be hidden as if it was part of the design. He is very detail-oriented and itemizes preparatory things as well as billing meticulously. This helps us have a clear mind set and timeline on what we could expect from them and what we were expected as well. The same applies to billing and payment as well. We have had a great time working with Korey, people associated with SALT/him, and people who came to help us finish our basement. We would recommend him and SALT to anyone without any hesitation.

Joey has a "can do" attitude and understands that big changes can bring some uncertainty as to what would look best. The grass in my front yard was dead, so I decided to xeriscape it. I am getting older, so mowing has become a struggle since both the front and back yard are huge. I changed my mind a couple of times, and he took it in stride. He understood that this was a big decision. I was pleasantly surprised with the quote for the job as I had looked at others that were more expensive. It was well within my budget, and less expensive than I expected. They got the job done in a timely manner, and his employees were just as friendly, respectful, and professional as Joey is. We moved the boulders around some until I got the look I was looking for, and his guys did it with a smile on their face. I would recommend them, if you are looking for someone to xeriscape your yard. I have had so many positive remarks from my neighbors who say they love it! I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Natay Construction and their "process". We need…read morea full renovation of our primary bathroom. I was nervous that Natay was the only contractor that asked me for money upfront in an hourly rate to create a plan and get bids for the bathroom. They gave me an initial estimate and then months and months later I finally get the "real" estimate for the bathroom which was almost 2X the initial estimate! The plan, materials, and layout had not changed at all.* We did not run into any hurdles that would have made the cost increase.  Process Made Me Feel Trapped: By the time I had gotten the proposal, the "hourly" hours billed was nearly double what I had agreed to and when I saw all of these bloated prices from subs, I was too nervous to wrack up more billable hours to have Eric go back and get better prices. I think this is the goal of their "process" - to make you feel like you are so far down the rabbit hole when you see this crazy number that you just give in.  No "Connections" with Subs: Now that I am getting my own quotes on the pieces of this project, all of the subs that Eric wanted to use were easily double the cost (not including the contractor fees) of the prices I am getting on my own (as a woman who knows nothing about construction). I thought the purpose of a contractor is that they know the right people to work with and know a reasonable price...  Extremely Slow: Getting answers from Eric was extremely slow. We started in February and I was originally supposed to have the whole project complete by early June. I didn't even get the 2X proposal until end of May. There were 6.5 weeks where I heard nothing back and had to reach out to Eric for an update multiple times. There was another time that I asked for one minor change and didn't hear back for 2 weeks. I was so hopeful that I found a trustworthy contractor to help with our house projects, but my experience with Natay was just a waste of time and money. After raising these concerns, I asked for a refund of my upfront money. Eric stopped responding and someone else from the team said no.  * This is TMI, but the upfront billable hours did increase due to looking into projects beyond the initial bathroom. Eric kept encouraging me that I would "save money" by doing all these other house projects at one time. The bill for all those things was like 4X the original price. I then asked for him to take everything out and see just the bathroom so I could compare apples to apples (just the bathroom was almost a full 2X more than the initial quote for just the bathroom).

I could not figure out what was causing the leak, which only happened occasionally and without regularity to heavy rain, snow, etc. They came and quickly identified where the issue was likely occurring and described in detail how their waterproofing process does both sealing and water diversion of the affected area. Their demo team was very courteous and cleaned up their mess pretty well. They were also able to schedule me within a few weeks and this was great timing, as a lot of rain has come up where we live near Millcreek Canyon since then. I now have peace of mind that this is fixed forever and for overall less cost than I was prepared to spend.
