Huskiez has been the best landscaping/contracting company we have hired. We've done a lot of remodeling of our exterior, and this is the company we will stick with from now on. The pricing was in the middle (not the cheapest, but by far not the most expensive, and they earn what the charge and more1). The GM, project lead and other contacts for the project were immediately responsive, the entire time. I never have contractors stay just as closely in touch through every day and week of a project. They did. We expanded our project to where we overhauled the entire outside landscape - installed turf grass, a bocce ball court, cobblestone pathways, weed skirts, concrete pouring as a base for a shed and a gazebo, as well as redoing and cleanly setting up our sprinklers and drip lines. These guys were amazing and it shows. I have never had a contractor end on the date they said they would. This time, the Project lead JJ said 3 weeks - and it was 3 weeks. We added one single day, but it was my request for some add on work. They also took the time constantly to walk the project and tell us what they did, what was happening and any issues were immediately brought to us. Also - we had a vacation for a week during this project. I've never felt comfortable leaving town with such a project happening. This time we did, and it worked great. WE were given text updates and still were being contacted for any concerns. They only time the team made a judgement call on something without us, it was 100% what we would have decided, so we were able to trust the project lead's interpretation for certain changes, and for any that they thought had even a small chance that we'd need to provide our opinion - they always looped us in ASAP. This team deserves significant kudos and appreciation - when we have a big party to celebrate our new exterior, we are definitely inviting the crew. read more

paid exactly what they quoted though they did a few small extra things. communication was great. had them completely redo my front yard including scraping a couple inches of dirt, adding topsoil, completely redoing sprinklers. Bid was reasonable compared to others i obtained. Would definitely recommend them read more

I used Huskie'z for several years. They started increasing their prices 10% every year (well above average) and their service quality decreased at about the same rate. I had them make a sprinkler repair in the spring and later discovered that the valve they put in was installed incorrectly and leaking. They didn't guarantee their service and wanted to charge me just to come to my house to evaluate their mistake and then charge to repair it. (essentially charging me twice for the same job). So I found a new landscaper who charges half the price and does much, much better work with all the attention to detail that Huskie'z lacks. And when it came time this fall to do a major relandscaping job, I happily gave my business to Lake City Landscaping, LLC and they did a fantastic job!! More importantly, they guarantee their work. I highly recommend searching for a landscaper with more integrity and more competitive prices than Huskie'z. You'll be glad you did. read more

I've had these guys do two jobs for me. They are quick thorough and on point. They exceeded my expectations in every way. Zach came out to bid both jobs exactly when he said he would. It was difficult to find a landscaper but Zach came right out and gave me a bid. His crew did a great job on my yard.

We had some friends win a landscaping design, when Huskiez was offering help to a family in need. I was impressed, so I called them for help as what to do for my yard to update it. They told me that they don't give free estimates even though it's on their website, but I wanted ideas also. She mentioned to me that I need to pay $89 for that help. So I did. They had someone come out. Several weeks later I got the bid, with no ideas that I had paid for... just a very generic bid. Frustrated that they didn't just give me the free bid they offer on their website, if that was all I was going to get. I don't recommend this company. read more

I made an appointment with their office for a job quote to be on 4/3/2018 at 4:30pm. I reconfirmed appointment on 4/2/2018 with Becca in the office. Both my wife and I left early from work to meet at the confirmed appointment time. We waited until 6pm for someone to come. Regrettably, Zach was a no show with no courtesy notifications of not being able to meet or come from him or the office (The office closes at 4pm). I called the office the next day inquiring why no one came. Becca apologized and said Zach had prior commitments at the same time as our appointment. Why did they knowingly make 2 appointments at the same time or not suggest an alternate time if they had prior commitments? No contact came from anyone saying he couldn't make it prior to our meeting time. I made 3 phone calls to his personal cellphone in the evening with no response and again the next morning. The next morning he claimed he couldn't hear me when I had clear reception from him on my end ---it's possible he couldn't, but unlikely as the connection was good in my estimation. If a company overbooks and no shows for a bid request or doesn't show any proactive concern for our sacrifices after not coming, then we have no desire to want to use them. Moving on to others who do come and want and are glad to get and do the work. You win some and you lose some. Sad for both of us. I was looking forward to hearing their options for our yard based on their well produced videos. read more
