Total disaster. Requested a second remote, and repair of outside manual control. Guy sold me on using a MyQ app. Replaced motor, set up the emergency stop system, gave us two new manual controls, and left. MyQ could not connect to the system. I find out the motor was too old. Manufactured 2018! Well, I did get the remote I needed but it cost me $575! Cash, no receipt, will not return my calls. I have never been ripped off this badly. read more

The garage door was inoperable due to springs broke. He looked at the job and quoted me a fair price to replace broken springs and pulleys. I hired him on the spot, which I have never done before without getting other quotes. But he fixed it on the spot. He is very experienced, knew exactly what to do and how to do it. And did it quickly and professionally. He even fixed the wiring at the motor and configured the controller at no extra charge. I wish I could recommend this place, because the owner is a very nice guy, but I absolutely cannot recommend them. I am now seven weeks into a saga of trying to get my Garage Door Opener replacement properly installed, which is inexcusable. In summary, despite knowing that the opener he was installing was not rated for the weight of my Garage Door, he still installed it claiming that he could tighten the torsion springs. The door continuously locked open or closed with a warning sensor saying excessive force, and yet he kept saying it wasn't the garage door opener, it was the garage door. This despite my never having a problem with my 17-year-old chain drive unit prior to his installation of this wallmounted one. Five weeks in, he finally replaced it with a similar unit that was actually rated to handle the thousand pounds in my garage door, but incorrectly installed the back up battery. I must say, this heavier duty, one apparently cost more, and he did not charge me more, however, since he warranted the first one was appropriate for my Garage Door, that really is on him. The improperly installed back up battery has now been beeping every 30 seconds for two weeks, while he tells me via text that he's too busy to come and properly connect the batteries. I ended up having to contact LiftMaster to get them to send me the necessary harnessing wires so that I could properly install the back up batteries myself. It took less than five minutes to fix this problem. Yet two weeks later, he's still too busy to honor his warranty. This is just a summary of the problems I had, that I never would've expected with someone who was supposedly an expert at Garage Door opener installations and replacements. He's a very nice guy, and continuously tells me that he's all about customer service, but he seems to think that simply saying he's all about customer service is customer service. Called for service in early Sep 2023 to repair our garage door. A technician came, measured, and said he will come back after he receives the part to fix our door. We made a payment of $362. No response for a few weeks. We made many calls and eventually they said they ordered the wrong part and will need to order again. We waited patiently. Many calls again in Dec 2023. No response. Finally heard back from the owner of the company in the end of Dec 2023- apologized and said they will take care of it as soon as possible. Now it is the end of January 2024 and still no response from the company. We understand things happen and they might be short-staffed however it is going way too far than we expected. read more

He should not in any way shape or form be interacting with customers. (Another company tried to charge me over $300 and said I needed a whole new door!) David charged me $50 and said I only needed something small to fix it. David was awesome! He went above and beyond what was necessary and even removed a bike rack when overhearing that I was putting a refrigerator in that spot in my garage. He was friendly, fast, and honest! I called on a Saturday to schedule an emergency visit for my garage door that would not close. My garage door had been serviced by another company (DM Garage Door Solutions) multiple times over the prior six months and even though I had paid them a lot of money to fix the problem they refused to come out over the weekend Sunday morning a technician from Aviya was at my house (arrived 15 minutes early!) and showed me exactly what was causing the issue. Aviya fixed the problem for a very reasonable fee and also told me that the prior company charged me lots of money for things that were not causing the problem. My only regret is that I didn't use them initially. Great company highly recommended!! read more
