The fish tacos were excellent cooked to perfection and came with some nice fresh mangoes, as well as some other diced vegetables on top with the side of rice and a side of ranch to dip it in. I really like the vibes here it's super relaxing and you get a view of the lake and the rest of the celebration. They have really good cocktails here margaritas and they have a little lounge next-door that opens later in the day. Great spot to relax and get a nice meal. We got 3 shareable apps - nachos (we asked for chicken instead of ground beef) it was no problem and delicious, shrimp ceviche (a bit spicy for 1 of us but awesome) and queso fundito (what is better than melty cheese??!! Every time we go it seems prices increase, but then now we found out they no longer give chips and salsa for free? Even worse, we were served tostitos chips today.... As a resident of celebration I had been wanting to come here and now the spring weather is perfect we came one evening and enjoyed dinner at a table outside. The place is very large and busy. We were seated immediately. They are dog friendly which is a big plus! The drinks are a show stopper: very big glasses and beautifully served. I've seen this restaurant when I've gone to downtown Celebration for Starbucks or other restaurants. It is usually pretty busy whenever I've gone and the food smelled good. One night after work, I went with my folks for dinner to try it out. Parking options include parking lots and street parking - depending on when you go, you can either find a spot easily or may have some trouble. We went before the dinner crush and found a spot behind the restaurant. We were seated quickly but it did take a little time for our waitress to come over to take orders for drinks and food. (I sense they were short staffed and it was busy that night.) I ordered the pulled pork burrito and got the sauces on the side for dipping. Food took some time but it came out without too much of a wait. The burrito had a lot of fillings in it. It was pretty good and well seasoned. My mom got the carne asada and said it was good. (It was good when I tried it, but maybe it was a little chewy in places.) Pricing wasn't bad. I would say this is not traditional Mexican food but it is good. read more

We debated leaving but there was nowhere else to go since everything was closed. We decided to be patient and be kind because of the hurricane. It certainly is scenic and the staff is friendly. Unfortunately it falls short on food. We ordered chips and salsa. It was nothing special and left some to be desired. I ordered the chimichanga and it was devoid of flavor. Like it could have been a mistake by the kitchen staff devoid of flavor. The Diet Cokes were way over carbonated but we didn't mention it. As we try not to be the table that complains. When we got refills, the Diet Coke was flat. Then after the refill, I had a piece of food in my drink. I brought that to our server's attention. He brought me another one, and apologized. My order was the arroz con polo. It should've had rice , chicken, queso, onions and peppers. Mine had that and diced carrots and green beans. Clearly- the rice had been mixed with these random veges for a different dish and then used in mine. In addition to that there was a piece of chicken so hard and old that I thought I broke a tooth. So I explain to the server and show him the chicken. He takes it and comes back and says "they told me your dish was sitting next to another customer's that ordered well done chicken." Keep in mind this chicken was discolored. He then offered to take it off our bill. The bill came and it was still on there. I had to go find him and have him correct it. Things happen in a restaurant and "off nights" happen. But for a manager to never come speak to us after the price of food in my drink was wild to me. But then the food having an old piece of chicken in it and still no accountability taken? That's not how a restaurant should be operated. I was very disappointed with the food and the leadership. Decent Mexican spot. I started the night off with a black cherry margarita. I will have to say this is definitely one of my favorite margaritas of all time because I love cherry flavored items. I'm honestly surprised this place is still open. I came here on Friday evening for tacos and margaritas. My friend and I were seated right away and ordered a house margarita, an avocado margarita and the dip trio. My friend's margarita was so bad that she took one sip and didn't finish it. The server either didn't notice or is used to guests not finishing items because he didn't ask how we liked them. I also saw several appetizers and drinks bussed off tables that were not finished. My avocado margarita was ok. It certainly is not as good as the Epcot one even though it uses the same Midoro melon in Epcot's version. The dip trio was ok. I liked the queso but it's not hard to impress me when it's hot and cheesy. The guacamole tasted like the store bought stuff and the salsa wasn't anything special either. I ordered the shrimp tacos and was extremely underwhelmed. They are $18 and come with two tacos. Each taco had 3-4 shrimp and a little lettuce. No slaw, just a little bit of mango. It was pretty pathetic. To top things off, our server had zero personality. It was like interacting with a robot. The restaurant looks nice and it's in a beautiful location but I wouldn't return. I don't know if I'd say authentic or great Mexican, but with it being the only option of Mexican in Celebration you're kinda limited to its lackluster service and food. There is an indoor and an outdoor seating option. Limited inside, a lot of outdoor seating with ceilings fans! We started off with an order of queso which is the white queso and it's phenomenal! Chips are hot and fresh ! Good selection to choose from on the menu, my wife got the steak tostadas, i ordered the pastor chimichanga! Entrees: Chimichanga, comes with rice and beans ( whih. were great) lettuce sour cream guac and pico Excellent choice would def get it again! Pastor did have the pineapple flavor you'd expect with a pastor plate. Tostadas, they looks like two reg size tostadas comes loaded with the fixings on it, with a side of rice and beans! My wife enjoyed it just didn't know how to eat it! She did find a bone in her steak but when she told the server she offered to comp her meal and offer another to go! Which was nice considering my wife was kinda scarred! She did say the steak was bland and didn't have flavor! We have been here before and didn't have great experiences but this time was a better experience. Also the building in between Avacado and Starbucks is under construction this is the new building that will be housing Avacado once it's complete and will have a full bar inside of it as well! Should be completed near end of this year around Decemberish! Once they move into that building the old building will be vacated! Also another note, if you order chips and salsa or more chips you'll be charged! Also commenting from a past dine in experience, the guacamole wasn't it. For a place called Avacados you'd expect the guac to be great, but it tasted like Sysco supplied Guacamole; I know because I used to work for a Mexican restaurant in New Orleans that had guac that tasted exactly the same. The sopapilla was tasty and sweet and I can recommend. Where this spot falls short is in standard guest service. Like (unfortunately) multiple other food spots, a solo diner seems less valuable than a group, yet sitting at the bar keeps a table from being under-used. I wish I had a better experience here, I was looking forward to having dinner with my friend. We easily got a table and the server greeted us. He took our drink orders then told us to "wave him down" when we were ready to order, saying he'd be at the bar until then. I ordered the mango salmon and it might have been one of the worst plates I've eaten. For $23, it was a scoop of bland rice, a scoop of steamed veggies (no seasoning and no pepper), literally looks like and tasted like the BirdsEye veggie assortment that's microwaved. The salmon was a super small piece and had a dollop of mango and peppers on top, but it was not enough to mask the dry unseasoned salmon below. The server disappeared and when we were done with our plates offered to refill our empty drinks, then it took forever to get the bill. The only positive about our experience was sitting quickly and the location was clean. I would not recommend a visit and would choose another nearby restaurant. read more
