This is a small Mexican place located in an older strip mall on Vine Street in Kissimmee, Florida. The inside is clean, but nothing special. In fact, I have seen this type of place a thousand times before. I have also had some great food in these humble places. Service was friendly. There is no takeout service, you go to the counter and they will bring you your food. I ended up going with the asada burrito, which had a price point of I believe $7.25 and at the last moment added a chorizo taco. Total of the bill was a bit over ten dollars and I added a few dollars as a tip. Unfortunately, the food in both quality and quantity did not measure up to the cost. They brought out my chorizo taco first, which came out on a small paper plate. They also brought out a green and a red sauce (the red sauce was pretty impressive). Next they brought me the burrito. Both were a bit on the small side. The chorizo was ok, but even saying mediocre is being kind. The burrito was small and the rice inside was a bit overcooked. The asada was very finely minced. All in all, nothing special. You do bus your own table and there is no complimentary chips and salsa. They also charge fifty cents for a cup of ice. All in all, I cannot truly recommend here. Forget the high price tourist trap TexMex places, if you want real legit tacos and other Mexican food at reasonable prices look no further. Nothing fancy inside, just amazing authentic Mexican food. The carna asada and chorizo were spot on. Keep in mind that the tacos are similar to Puerto Vallarta style so they're very small. You'll need to order a few more than you would normally eat. This little hole in the wall, family owned business is my absolute favorite place to get tacos in the Orlando/Kissimmee area. Every time I go I have to order the Al Pastor tacos, they are absolutely so flavorful. On average I typically order about four tacos and that has me pretty full but they are traditional style so they're smaller than your normal American tacos -- also like 1000 times better! You can choose additional toppings but they come standard with onions, cilantro, like and hot sauce. All can be customized so don't you worry. I normally ask for crema (sour cream) lettuce, avocado and cheese along with their tasty in house salsa. They also serve all kinds of other dishes such as quesadillas, tortas and flautas. Everything hits the spot! We also love supporting this business because it's family owned, you will see the same people behind the grill or at the register. It's a nice touch that the man remembers us (I think he's the owner) His family and him are so polite and with COVID-19 still rampant he does ask his patrons to wear a face covering. How did I forget to review this lovely little place I ate at while in Orlando a few weeks ago? Well- my cousin recommended this place. And because she's a picky eater (which in my family doesn't mean we don't like to eat... on the contrary we are generally over-eaters, it means we ONLY like to eat food worth the calories), I trusted her! You must order before sitting. All styles of salsa (pico de gallo, salsa verde, etc) are available to you self-serve in addition to a cool cucumber salad! YUM. There are flat screen t.v.s practically everywhere in this not-so-big establishment- AND of course they're ALL playing the same telenovela. Too hilarious. We stopped in here because it wasn't that full, hoping for quick service and unfortunately we waited over an hour for simple tacos and quesadillas and one huarache. We asked for sopes and they were also out. When we first found this place, we were thrilled to have found authentic Mexican food. However, after our fourth time we will have to find another Mexican spot when we come to Orlando. If you are interested in coming here, I recommend coming in the morning before they run out of food. As it relates to the service, the cashier, who I think is also the owner, is also the server. He also handles the replenishing of the salsa bar.
