We started with plain pork sausage and moved on to Cajun sausage links, turkey, chicken, garlic bread seasoning, and all kinds of vegetables. We took the time at the end of the season to find out where they would be for a winter market, because we wanted to make sure we had access to there delicious and high quality meats. The husband and wife team running Heritage are a joy to talk to, extremely helpful and sell amazing goods. I will be seeing them at the winter market for sure!

So I decided to check this place out while I was in the area to see what this place offered. I enjoyed what the store offered since it featured nearly and everything practical that I've come to find at their stores normally. It's a much quieter store too since it doesn't seem like a lot of people shop here. Prices here though are a little bit more steep though whatever they run promotions is actually at a great price. The hay ride over to the fields was slow and easy. The driver even offered to snap a picture for us. We picked just short of a full bucket. It came to about $20. They spoil fast, so have a plan! Don't just pop them in the fridge. Then, we went inside the store and grabbed a cantaloupe and some hard cider. The strawberry hard cider was perfection. It was like drinking a fresh strawberry. One of the best ciders I've had - top 3, easy! He said the cantaloupe was great, too! I grabbed a few stickers for my scrapbook and a magnet for his fridge at the little store in the porch. And oh!... don't miss the cider donuts! The plain are best. The icing was waaaay too sweet for me, Overall a fantastic outing! We will do it again!

A couple food trucks which was a pleasant surprise! Easy to park on the road nearby or back behind the market. Will definitely be back again. I hope it grows! The heirloom tomatoes I bought are incredible-reminds me of childhood memories eating fresh tomatoes straight from the garden-store bough can't touch that. It was great to see so much produce at the Zionsville Farmers Market. The market has been organized…read moreso all the produce is together and the boutique foods are in a separate parking lot. A musician played guitar and sang in the center. There was a little seating here and there. We arrived early and found plenty of parking and it was easy to move around with few lines. (There's always a line for corn.) Vendors were friendly. I even ran into an old friend and we chatted. The market is a good place to connect with people and enjoy beautiful downtown Zionsville. The prices are high, way higher than the grocery store. But after gardening, I get how much work goes into getting a crop of anything. I picked up some peppers and a pie. Yum.
