I have seen many different massage therapists and they have all been fantastic. The space is very relaxing and the beds are comfortable. Prices are very reasonable for an independent massage place that isn't part of a chain. Just to note - parking can be a pain on Grand and the surrounding streets, especially during the evenings, so give yourself plenty of time. read more

Was looking for a place that did couples massages for a nice anniversary outing. Avivage came up on a search and I am so glad they did as the service was excellent. The space is small, but quaint and still gives you plenty of ways to shake off the day and relax. Since the space is in a "house turned business", it actually felt like being at home. We had an essential oil massage, which was a nice way to loosen the muscles but it also made the whole room aromatic, which made the experience even better. Freya was excellent and did a great job of checking in to make sure I was getting the experience I needed. I didn't catch the name of the therapist that worked on my husband, but he said he felt great afterwards and helped relieve a lot of tension. My girlfriend surprised me with a couples massage for the holidays. However, the couple's room had a temperature control issue. They had to keep the windows open the entire time to prevent the room from getting too hot, even though it was snowing and freezing outside. The street noise was also very distracting, which was not what I expected from a relaxing massage. My masseuse was terrible. She should not be allowed to touch anyone. I don't recall her name, but she had facial piercings, green hair, and a bull ring in her nose. Mostly she used her elbows and forearms, which caused me pain multiple times on my hip, the tops of my feet, and the backs of my hands. After I asked her to be gentler, she repeated the same motion three times on my right hip. Someone needs to train her not to use her elbows on areas without muscle. My right hip bone and the top of my foot are still sore four days later because of her elbow technique. I was constantly on edge, waiting for her to hurt me again, and the street noise was distracting. If it hadn't been for disturbing my girlfriend's massage and ruining her surprise gift, I would have ended the massage early and left. read more

We were able to choose CDB products as well which I was excited for as I've done that in the past, as for my partner it was the first time. We had about 45 minutes or so to enjoy our massages. Had an amazing experience at Avivage Massage. Came here with my partner for a couples CBD massage and had found the business through Yelp. I've had professional massages before but this one was extra special because my masseuse Alexandra even provided calming meditations easing in and out of the massage. She started by doing an intake asking about problem areas and areas to focus on. After beginning, about 10 minutes in, she asked questions to make sure the pressure was good, she took a lot of care to make sure I was comfortable. There was soothing noises in the background and the room itself was dark and calming. One of the first thing I noticed is that this spa makes a point on their website to ensure that customers know it is a safe space for all bodies and genders and orientations. I truly felt that when I was there which is super important to me. Freya is a phenomenal massage therapist. She is attentive to the body's feedback and seeks to thoroughly understand your needs and wants before the service begins. Also she's just sweet as pie. After the massage I sat in this seating area where they served me the BEST CUSTOM BLEND OF HERBAL TEA I'VE EVER HAD. With delicious organic chocolates as well. The tea is for sale! Wow, wow, wow!!!! From start to finish Avivage Massage delivered! I called to make a reservation and got a vm, so I left a quick message. Immediately following, I got a text asking if I needed assistance. I left my response and received a follow-up call a few hours later. They're busy so I get it. After explaining I wanted a couples massage, Tai explained how the process worked and what you get in your session. Great service! Upon arrival the table was set up so nicely with our names on a sign, and two forms to fill out. There was a session taking place and we arrived super early but they were kind enough to let us sit and wait while enjoying our tea and homemade truffles! The two therapists came out and introduced themselves, all were very warm and inviting, making sure we were comfortable. We went over what we were looking for and man did they deliver!
