The hypnotist was perfectly nice, although sometimes would run late for our sessions. I am a year out from this treatment and I can unequivocally say it had no effect and I experienced no weight loss. It did not change how I think about food nor did it make me no longer experience sugar cravings which is what was my main focus. I do feel I was being hypnotized but maybe one would argue not in the correct way, which I wouldn't know what that would be. Also maybe giving this service online isn't the best course of treatment either but you'd hope if you're offering online services the treatment would be the same. All this to say it was an incredible cost without any benefit. I would caution anyone who is interested in this treatment to learn more and understand the large financial cost to see if it's worth it. If I'm being honest I felt a bit fleeced by the whole thing especially since once it was done it was done and I never heard from anyone at MMH again. Since being on state insurance for the last 10 years I feel like I had been lost, drifting in and out of real sub-par and generic doctors & therapist offices. The choices of providers for mental health on state is getting ever slimmer, mostly inner city clinics with a dozen therapist, 2 prescribers... and like 500 patients!!!! No tight knit relationships, no communication between prescribers and therapist, no personalization, no cozy welcoming feeling, and doctors who ignore your lifelong medical records and refuse to put you back on prescriptions you know you need to be on. Well all that BS came to an end when I found Dr. Pasacreta and Naudeya here at Integrated Mental Health Services. Nice small independently owned practice run right out of the Dr's home. Everyone is genuinely pleasant, very accommodating, and has generously flexible schedules. I even get both E-mail and text reminders for all my appointments and immediately contacted if there's a change or conflict. Naudeya is a wonderful therapist, she goes above and beyond and really personalizes the experience. She remembers everything you talk about, even checks in on things you're supposed to be working on and helps keep you on track and staying focused. She's very open minded and a great listener as well as interpreter of your feelings and emotions, giving you constructive feedback, criticism, and helping you see things from a better, more positive angel. She will most certainly help you to boost your own moral and self esteem. Dr. Pasacreta is just as wonderful. She also is a great listener, let's you really "let it out" and very patient. She really takes the time to hear how you feel and how you're doing, and gives you a fair, honest say in how your medication regimen is focused and tailored to you personally. Many doctors take a simplistic, 1 size fits all approach to med management and don't treat their patients on a person by person basis. Since becoming an adult and looking to resume proper treatment, for years Dr's denied me a stimulant to properly address and treat my A.D.H.D. which I needed very badly just work and function on a daily basis. Even with all my records Dr's let the new laws, litigation, and red tape out way my genuine need to be on such a medication. Dr. Pasacreta took a good serious look at my records, listened to what I had to say, agreed with and worked with me to adjust and make the necessary changes... and combined with wonderfully productive therapy of course... help me truly feel better and help me succeed at everyday life. In summation, I'll say it again... I truly wish I had found this place 10 years ago. It is truly an Oasis Retreat in a Burning Desert of poor mental health care. At one point she told me I could skip the copays and she could just "bill an extra appointment" which I declined. I reported her to my insurance company, but don't think they did much. During one of my individual sessions she told me a lie about her sister getting arrested at the Big Y in Newtown for shoplifting and using her name. Of course it was actually my therapist who had been arrested for shoplifting. She has recently plead guilty to medicare fraud. The thing that gets me is that we actually needed help and never got it

It's now been a few weeks since I've started going to therapy at Waterstone and I'm incredibly grateful for the therapist I'm working with. She is truly fabulous! I'm so glad to have been referred to such a great outpatient therapy center, as I truly don't regret choosing to come here! There is no other place I'd rather go for weekly sessions. CT Orthopaedics is hands down the best IMO…read more. I've been a patient of Dr. Mark Lorenze's for a little over a year now. He has been helping me with my Dequarvin's which I have in both wrists. The pain is awful at times, and has lead me to having cortisone injections and going to occupational therapy. The thing about Dr. Lorenze that I appreciate the midst is that he NEVER pushes surgery right away. I'm under the age of 40 and tendon release surgery is the last resort. Dr. Lorenze's bedside manner is the absolute best. Always empathetic, compassionate, understanding, and all around professional. Between going to his office in Essex and Madison, both places are well kept, always clean, and welcoming. Not once have I ever experienced anything bad while in the care of Dr. Lorenze. His medical assistants are wonderful as well. I've never felt more comfortable anywhere else. I'm currently in the midst of more occupational therapy sessions - to which I feel are going really well! If for some reason OT does not work out for me in the long run, I will opt for the tendon release surgery. It's a quick procedure and I know I'll be in the greatest of care! Dr. Lorenze's knowledge and expertise show for sure - he is very intelligent. I absolutely refuse to go to Yale New Haven or Hartford Hospital for any kind of treatment for my orthopaedic issues. Special thanks to Dr, Lorenze, who continues to provide the best quality care for me as I continue to navigate the world of Dequarvin's! Making my way to the shoreline from Hartford area there was an unnecessary concern about finding…read moremedical care - I can now say Dr. Mark Lorenze and his staff have obliterated any lingering concern. All the things you want in a doctor and his staff are in place. The staff is professional, concerned, efficient, and friendly. I went to see Dr. Lorenze for three very different issues - hands, elbow and knee; understandably he handled each different from a medical but Dr. Lorenze was consistent from a patient perspective: Kind, listened, and explained the issues, providing detail and still elicited questions. He "stepped" the process for each area so there was always an understanding of how we would proceed. IMPORTANT: I went in with a patient point of view I was going to need three different surgeries; Dr. Lorenze took the better approach - he never discussed surgery or short-term injections as a first options, he waited until he had all the information then methodically approached each issue differently. Hands and elbow did not need surgery, was provided information on both and they are no longer an issue. My knee required surgery, the date was set quickly, the surgery center was fantastic, all staff were nice, professional, provided detailed explanations, Dr. Lorenze met with me and answered all questions. Surgery went perfect, everything i experienced was explained before I left for home so i was prepared, follow up visits were reassuring, i was provided surgery photos of before and after, had questions answered, and now its off to rehab at their own rehabilitation office connected to Dr. Lorenze's practice. Class act, professional and skilled.
