Initially I had gone to Things Remembered, a custom product/personalization store at the mall, and was quoted about $50 just for a name plate. Jacques gave me a great deal - trophy base, name plate, and labor for $26 out the door! He was very friendly, and I was in and out in about an hour (would've taken about 4 hours at Things Remembered based on their website). Another plus? I went in with the intention of placing a large order somewhere in the area of $1300. Maybe it was just the employee that I ran into, I am not sure if he was the owner or not but he promptly told me that he has way too many orders at the moment and can't take any more. I told him ok, I have time before I need the order, I am not in a rush. I got the feeling I was making him mad, but I don't know why I was trying to be polite. He then told me to go somewhere else if I want trophies. Obviously Award winners doesn't need my business. Good luck. Instead of the owner calling me and asking how he can make it right, the owner wrote me a harsh letter accusing me of colluding. This event took place in March, I wasn't going to leave a review originally, but then decided to. I am not sure who Maggie is , so you must have me mistaken with someone else. I am a business owner and if someone accused me of this I would quickly figure out how we are failing in customer service and try to make it better. I do not give out reviews very often but Award Winners definitely deserves the recognition. I planned an employee holiday party and needed almost 30 awards. Jacques was able to get all awards done in less than a week without any mistakes on them. The only mistakes that were made were on MY end and he was more than happy to correct those changes at no cost. He is very VERY quick to respond to emails and phone calls. I would literally send out an email and less than five minutes later, I already got a response from him. He even called after my event to follow up and see how everything went, which not a lot of people do nowadays. I can't recommend this place enough for their amazing customer service, high-quality products, and very affordable prices. I had brought with me, a very cheap looking, identification tag for a stethoscope that was given to me by the manufacturer. I didn't even think it was able to be engraved. Instead, the kind staff at Award Winners decided to make me a new label from scratch with really sturdy metal that fit perfectly into the tag, and was beautifully and thoughtfully engraved.
