I highly recommend Awards by Navajo. I received a priceless picture for Christmas and placed it in custom frame. I felt that a engraved tag below the picture would be a great idea. I searched around and found Awards by Navajo. I walked in and was greeted by Steve. I told him what I was looking for and he recommended a perfect idea. Also, a real reasonable bargain. I agreed with his recommendation and about 2 hours later, he called me and informed that it was completed. I walked in with the frame and he even placed it on the frame for me. Awesome. Thanks Steve. I've moved all of my business to Steve because of his responsiveness, timeliness, fair pricing and quality. I can't recommend him highly enough. I'm a tough customer and it takes a couple different iterations for me to get to something I like, sometimes changing my mind back and forth. Steve was pleasant and timely throughout. He also helped accommodate some of my more harebrained ideas and offered suggestions that made the trophy even better and more "complete" (basically matching the font and color with that of he trophy topper). If you're working on a legacy trophy or plaque that will need periodic updating, be sure to ask the trophy vendor how much it will cost for future updates. Don't let them fool you with how complicated it can be to make a new plate--Steve was able to make plates at less than a quarter of the price than a competitor in a different part of town. This place is unreliable. They were recommended to me, so I bought an award and had it engraved for a colleague's retirement party. The owner was helpful with selecting the award and did a good job engraving it. However, he failed to meet the deadline and failed to notify me when it was ready for pick up. When I called him with my concern, he reluctantly admitted to mixing up the dates, but never offered an apology. The award I ordered will have to be presented to my colleague a few days later, after her special moment and not the way it was intended, in front of all her colleagues, family and friends. How disappointing! I will never use this place again and will not recommend it to others. read more
