Came here to have some T-Shirts made for some employees who created a hiking club at work. We decided to surprise the employees and provide them with T-Shirts for their next hike so I had to get these made within a week. T-Shirt Mart made it happen. As soon as I walked in an employee said we'll be with you in one moment. I waited for five minutes and then sat down with one of their designers desk. He was upbeat and very kind and very familiar with their capabilities and turn around and also has great knowledge of the type of T-shirts they have and all the different varieties. The whole transaction to design the T-shirt took somewhat about 15 to 20 minutes to complete the design. Once their graphic design team creates the design for you they send you an email for your approval. They do not make your T-shirts until they get paid in full. And when you pick up your T-shirts, it's very important that you have your invoice with you as you will not be able to get your T-shirts released to you until you have the original paperwork. It took less than a week to get my T-shirts and when I picked up the T-shirts, I was very impressed with the quality and overall outcome with my shirts. I saw a lot of people coming in and out getting family reunion T-shirts made, and also bachelorette T-shirts for the bridal party. I usually go to a different location to have my shirts printed, but this one is a bit closer to my house, and I needed something done over the weekend for Monday. This location didn't seem too busy, and it ended up working out in my favor. This place is always fast when we need customized shirts jackets or hats. When we've ordered on-line it always takes a lot of time and if something is wrong you don't have time to reorder. Tuxedo t-shirt! It was too late for me to get one delivered online for tonight's "Tacky Wedding Reception", so I started looking for a t-shirt from a nearby brick & mortar store. I followed a recommendation from Yelp Talk to check out the San Diego location on Midway Drive, but they did not have any in stock. Their store rep called this location, which had a supply of XL shirts. Good enough. The place is no frills, with the big 5 for $10 sign and racks/shelves of clothing. The El Cajon store seemed to have a little less square footage than the Midway store to display merchandise, but the overall layout of both stores were familiar in appearance. My only other observation was the printed sign on the front door of this store about not bringing in any bags or backpacks. Ah yes, the nearby trailer park and bombed out low-rent apartment complexes with shirtless dudes on this hot summer day. When I walked in and asked a store employee, she pointed me in the right direction and also rang me up with a smile for my tuxedo tee. A sweet deal for $3.26 on short notice. In case you were wondering, both locations offer custom and bulk orders, not just off-the-rack sales. They can do heat application, silk screening, and embroidery for customized shirts. I was just lucky to find a shirt already available for $3 instead of having them make one for nearly $15. If you're in the market for some printed shirts for your next marathon team or mid-week beer league, check out T-Shirt Mart. " Javier Did A Nice Job " I went to the Tshirtmart today to see if they could embroider a small Marlin Fish on the shirt sleeve of my expensive already embroidered back Marlin shirt. Javier was very nice as we talked awhile and he searched for a matching Marlin design that would match the large one I had on the back of my shirt already. Javier found a good picture match, and then we sat down at the computer to match the colors on the shirt. Once we matched the colors, Javier said he would have it done in about 2 hours. I tend to do more things spur of the moment than all planned out. That being said, I usually end up needing something custom made last minute. This place has helped me out immensely. For Christmas they've embroidered fantasy football team names on coaches polos. They've had inside joke quotes printed on tshirts in a pinch. I have brought my own art work as well as worked with their designers to come up with something unique for gifts and special occasions. Don't let the building and the part of town scare you off. Don't bother sending an email in hopes you'll get a response. I called asking if they received my email regarding the project that required embroidery and they told me they don't really check emails. WHAT?! A guy named Jeff told me that the best option was to go to the store and talk to a designer about what I wanted done. (Anything to make it more convenient for them, right? Not like I'm a paying customer or anything) I get to the store and "Jeff" told me to wait and sign in. 15 minutes pass and still no acknowledgment, 20 mins later, I walk out of the store. I don't recommend this place at all. Save your money and go somewhere else. Customer service is horrible. read more
