I ordered a Shadow Box with a 5 day production date (plus weekends) they said it would be complete by 18 March, it left there shop on 25 March. It arrived, very late, and had no front glass, absurd, why would I put hundreds of dollars worth of memorabilia in the box and not cover it. Called and (for the first time) spoke with a person, it was Justin, the owner. He said he would process it for a return and I would receive a return shipping label that day.... Of course not! Terrible customer service, no returned calls, no returned emails... He blamed everything on Covid-19, but the reviews about this company's problems go way back. I have been doing business with Awards Gallery for many years, but lately, they changed up and they have screwed up every order and broken multiple promises on every delivery promise. The girl in the front, Ida, should not be working with the public. Her "I don't give a damn about customer service" attitude unbecomes her and the business. Funny how they use the same excuses every time. They are three promise people. First they promise to have the order by a certain day. When that day comes, they don't call and when you call them they don't answer the phone and their messages are full. After multiple attempts to get them on the phone, I would finally drive over there (25 miles each way) and they would tell me the material didn't come in, then make a new delivery date promise. On the new promise date, they still wouldn't answer my call and their messages were still full and I would have to drive over and they would tell me the machine that makes my order is broken and then they wouls make a new promise. This has happened on the last 10 or 15 orders I have placed. Same excuses. Today I tried to place an order and amazingly they actually answered the phone. Ida refused my order and said she would only take orders by email. When I asked to speak to Justin (the good guy that is the one that actually makes everything) she hung up on me. I am going to find out who owns this place. I don't think they would approve of the constant mishandling of orders and the "I don't give a shit" attitude of miss Ida. I have tons of artwork over there from the 20 years I have been doing business with them and I don't want to have to go to the time and expense of duplicating it with another company. The poor service has only been in the last couple of years since Ida has been there. Maybe the owner will find out about how she has been mishandling the business and dump her. read more

I would like to say that I was in need of a military plaque and I am currently in EL Paso, TX and they were very professional and was able to help with making a plaque. The price was reasonable and they were able to customize the plaque for "Aviation" and it was awesome. The staff replied with a phone call to ensure that everything was correct and was able to have plaque Fedex with a tracking number to my location. Thanks a million!!! read more

Very bad experience here. I didn't receive my order confirmation as expected and had to call two times before I got an answer. Then when the confirmation was sent to me, it was wrong and had to be resent. The order made it to me on time; however, once it arrived the centerpiece was completely busted off and had scratched up the entire plaque. I had to run around like a chicken with my head cut off in order to make it presentable to the military member the following day who by the way had 20+ years of service. I emailed the company photos of the busted award, and I kid you not their response was for me to re-glue the centerpiece back to the plaque in order to hide the scratches. I immediately replied back that when you spend good money on products like these ($160) you expect it to be high quality and put together well. The company still has yet to respond to that email. No reimbursement, no replacement, just a recommendation to re-glue it myself to hide the damages. Never again, and I will be sure to instruct all my military counterparts to not use this place for any future awards. read more

Very disappointing service I have ever received in my life. I ordered a statue and it arrive broken because of poor packaging then when I did the claim with pictures they told me that they would have to first file a claim with ups and will provide me update. They never provide me and update to the reshiping of my statue then 4 months have passed and I'm still waiting on my full refund I call them and each time get that they have mailed the refund and it take 7-10 business days. I would never order from here again or recommend it to anyone that wants to order a statue. read more

Ordered a gift last weekend and paid $100 extra to ship it overnight. Got a call 5 days later saying they were just now looking at orders placed before the 4th of July weekend and could not ship the gift in time. I ordered the gift a week out and paid the extra $100 in shipping, giving 2 days lag time to get the gift. Their response was "We aren't Amazon" and I should have seen that everything says a 5 day production time at the bottom of the web site. I did see that, but I guess I didn't realize that means they don't work the entire week around the of July 4th holiday. Them taking 5 days to look at their orders and call me back to say they cant do it means I dont have time to get a replacement gift for this soldier, after 16 years of service. My sister in law and I found them on the internet and ordered a commemorative for my brother's retirement. The web site says a five day shipping date is standard, we got a confirmation for the order but no delivery on time. Then excuses, and a string of broken promises. A month later and still no product has been delivered. Whatever this company was at one time it has been reduced to simply being a scam business ripping off people on the internet. read more

Initially, I was very happy with the customer service and the interaction of the team as they made my custom order. However, the item, a custom framed guidon, arrived with a damage corner of the frame and the glass was broken. I immediately contacted the company within 24 hours of the item arriving via email. Crystal responded and requested pictures of the box and damaged item. I submitted pictures and after that received absolutely no contact, I followed up twice with email, no response, I contacted their customer service phone line twice with no response as well. Severely disappointed in how they responded to help resolve a damaged item. I will not use the company again. read more

I'm a vet, and I don't normally write reviews, and when I do I'm not happy. Not this time. When I had read several of the poor reviews (a few days after I had already submitted an online order), and was initially having trouble getting ahold of them, it scared me enough to try to find a backup option in the area. But that same day, Iva reached out to me directly to coordinate the frame display, which was a customized version of a Marine Corp Guidon, but for the Boy Scouts. She worked with me quite a bit to get things right, as I had ordered the incorrect display format online, and needed better graphics to get the flag looking right. She told me upfront that due to the customization, they couldn't ship it to me in time for the Court of Honor, but would have it ready if I drove down from Dallas. Furthermore, I wasn't able to get there by 5p on a Friday, so we arranged a pickup early in the morning on a Saturday. At that Sat. morning at pickup I was told they worked until 9p the night before to get it finished. So in summary, in my experience at least, the Awards Gallery did everything in their control to provide excellent, high quality service. And the display was outstanding with no errors. I would give 0 stars if that option was available. Here's an update. I still have not recieved a refund. I received the product I ordered LATE and DAMAGED. I returned it and recieved confirmation from Crystal that they received the returned product. I was told I would receive my refund. 5 months and many emails later I have not received it. I am out $120.00! This company does not follow through on anything they say they will do. I am surprised they are still in business. Crystal in customer service said I could not return the item but that they would give me a full refund. She said she would put a check in the mail that day. Awards gallery is not the same since it has new owners. I went in and explained exactly what I wanted done to the bracelets that I personally brought in. When I picked up the bracelets they were lightly laser etched instead of engraved and everything that was discussed and supposed to have been done was a complete disaster. Quality and service is a disgrace and I would no longer reccomend this shop unless you enjoy having your items messed up and time wasted. read more

After speaking on the phone with detailed pictures, the company said that they couldn't understand why that would happen and that they would replace it but leave us on the hook for the shipping cost. I am giving this business 4 stars for our experience. First, the product we received was beautiful and exactly as we ordered, but did require assembly which I did not expect, but was no problem to do. Second, we received the UPS shipping information and we were able to track the package all the way to our house, which gave us great peace of mind as we waited for it. Third, the reason they lost a star concerns their website. It is not functioning properly. I was told to remove cookies, which I did, but that did not help. I ended up ordering the Stetson holder through email, which took more work for me, but resulted in success. Overall, the company did great work on our product and we are very pleased. But if you order here, be patient and give yourself some extra time to get it before you need it. Finally, each person I spoke with or emailed with were very polite and helpful. I just think they need some IT help to make orders easier for us and trackable through the process for them. Thank you! read more

The customer service for this place is very difficult. The plaque is good quality however when the shipment came, it was missing the replica arms piece. I tried calling customer service and left several messages but did not get a return call or at least an acknowledgment of a problem with your order. I am sure if they can address the customer service issues, this company reviews would increase based on product. I didn't see or hear anything from them for about 2 weeks after placing order. I sent an email and didn't hear back. Then I called and was told that my plaque would go out that day or the next. The next week when I didn't receive I called and they said some of the material for plaque was back ordered and to wait. I then called the following week and they finally finished my plaque. I am very pleased with the plaque but was not pleased by their customer service. I think the right thing when an order cannot be fulfilled is to communicate with the customer, be apologetic and possibly over something back, ie free shipping or something. read more

Beware. III Corps used these folks in the past with good results, however we've had six awards/plaques with them since May/Jun of this year. There were delays due to equipment problems, then the business moved from Cove to Killeen. It's December and they promised to get all of the items completed and back to us last week. At this point they've got over $300 and as well as several flags the unit flew in Afghanistan, III Corps and IJC Commander coins, unit patches to be used in the awards. They won't return phone calls, emails or website inquiries, and while losing the money might make you mad, the flags and coins carried on the battlefield in Afghanistan are irreplaceable. read more

I should have read the reviews before purchasing from this company and now I regret it. I order a Stetson holder to be engraved. The engraving on my order did no have my exact wording when it arrived. I contacted the company via email and by telephone and here it is three to four months later and the matter still has not been resolved. After speaking with customer service she informed me that they would be resending a replacemet of my order of course that has yet to happen. I called customer service again and the rep informed me that the person I spoke to was "let go" ( which was not my concern). The customer service rep was very rude when she thought she placed me on hold, I could clearly hear her make comments stating "I don't have time for this", "why today? Today is not the day". I asked the rep after she returned why and what had I said to cause her to be so rude? Her reply was "I thought you hung up". That was obviously a lie she thought she put me on hold.
