I was assured they had a close relationship, and it's preposterous. It took me probably 10 calls to get access to my father, and after they took away his cell phone, would let me talk to him, even though it was supposedly a seamless link to the 10 billion HIPAA authorizations I had to coordinate my father's care for over 10 years. It was absolutely disheartening. If he had not been 91 years old, I'd have thought cartels had sucked him into some kind of human trafficking scene. It took 10 phone calls just to gather enough information even to TALK to him. St E assured me they had a great interface, BUT THEY DID NOT EVEN HAVE ACCESS TO HIS RECORDS ON MYCHART. NOR TO THE MULTIPLE HIPAA AUTHORIZATIONS GRANTING MY ACCESS. This is evidence of an organization with absolute focus, not on patients, but on their focus on avoiding lawsuits, at their employees' expense. These employees were so terrified of the management they weren't about to do one think to link me up with my father on the day I'd spent 7 hours in St E Fort Thomas' emergency room. St E is outsourcing too much to substandard specialists. Both organizations are going way to cheap with no benefit to patients or the public.

Within minutes of arriving, the head honcho CEO (and top c*cksucker) pulled me into his office where he quickly determined I would fail, repeatedly mocked me as I cried, and forced me to say things that were completely untrue, for example that I hate myself and want to kill myself. The conditions on the day to day were not much better. The food was all preservatives and carbs and cheese. So much cheese. I have never eaten so unhealthy in my life. The classes were often just recess, as we'd go outside and chain smoke and watch a few guys play cornhole. The employee dispensing medication never put on gloves and touched every single pill. Every time. It was disgusting. I was unfortunately discharged for reasons that were never made clear. While everyone else discussed their plans beyond the facility, I was told after a closed door meeting that occurred without my awareness. If you are desperate, I suppose go here. It's better than death. But if you have the ability to go literally anywhere else- a church basement, your aunt's weird friend's camper, a hole in the ground go there instead. Avoid Transitions at all costs. They care all about your money and nothing about you.

If that is what you need, go for it. It is not a facility that will give you any guidance towards recovery. You may end up with PTSD and anxiety issues after 2 weeks. This is no joke, I was very serious about my recovery from alcohol. Educate yourself, there are options. Put this place last on the list, or erase it all together from your list.

I've been to a lot of different rehabs before coming here there's a difference in them. Encompass is the best by far there is no comparison I've gotten to know a lot of them and it's a blessing to call them my friends. All the staff that works here goes out of their way to make sure your needs are met. From the drs to all the staff make you feel like you're their only patient. There're so many positive things about Encompass if you need to go there once you will always try to go back. The next time you need rehab think about what you want to get out of your stay. If you put the effort in the staff will help you reach your goal. i think the highest score you can give them is a five if it was possible I'd give them 5x that.
