Assuming your paperwork on file is up-to-date, your name gets called and they pretty immediately get down to business. There's no cuddling afterwards, they're going to treat you, quickly communicate what you should be doing until your next visit, then get you out of the damn way so they can help their next patient be pain free. Competitors are mostly like any typical doctor's office visit where you wait in a waiting room for an unreasonable amount of time, get your name called where you go back into a different room to sit and wait, then eventually speak to someone face to face that is qualified to help you. In my experience, even without insurance, it's probably cheaper and you'll usually be seen quicker than you would with an appointment scheduled well in advance with a competitor. Its too bad because I liked the doctor and would have been a long time customer but I feel the office used deception on my initial consult.
