I started seeing Dr. Tkachuk as a "second opinion" when I wasn't too confident in the first chiropractor I had found in the area almost a year ago. I have been seeing him ever since. I was in a great deal of lower back pain when I first saw him - had been suffering for over a week with no improvement, even after seeing a different chiropractor. The morning after my visit with him I was feeling SIGNIFICANTLY better. He handled my treatment as well as anyone could and I continued to make process, and I continued seeing him for maintenance after I healed completely. He uses a variety of therapies - spinal adjustments, muscle stim, roller table, physical therapy, all of which put together a solid regimen for not only helping the problem you go in for but keeping you in better shape going forward so you have fewer acute problems in future. As to his personality, I have found him to be very friendly, a good conversationalist and in every way professional. His office manager, Sarah, is also very sweet and friendly and I've never heard a harsh word come out of either of them. Both of them are people I'd be happy to chat with over sodas or beers sometime. Thus I suspect that "Dan W." (who has written no other reviews of anyone, anywhere) is either a competitor, a troll, or someone who was rude to Dr. Tkachuk and got called on it. read more

Scheduled a massage with Tiffanie and she is an AWESOME massage therapist. I been having lots of back problem switching to a desk job. Tiffanie was very professional and friendly. Before the massage she asked me the reason for my visit and went over my concerns and what I should expect. She told me it's gonna take a few visits with herself and chiropractor (making an appt with him) before I feel better. I have been going to Dr. Tkachuk for a while now and can not say enough good things about him and his office staff. First off the office staff is professional and friendly, I never feel like I am just another patient that they just wanna push through. Always answer my questions and take the time out to remember who I am which is so refreshing! Also so easy to get an appointment, just today I was having some neck pain due to missing appointments due to travel, so I called and they easily squeezed me in! As far as Dr. Tkackuk he is awesome! He is kind and truly cares about his patients, he cares about me as a person and takes time out every adjustment to ask how I am doing and is genuine about it! He is also very gentle when adjusting. Before Dr. Tkachuk I went to another Chiropractor for a consultation (one of the chain companies) and it was a shock. Being this first experience with Chiropractic services they took an x-ray and said I had a major issue and my back was curved. They told me I would take me years of work to fix and they had a plan for me to come in x number of times for around $3000 total! So after going to a back specialist and getting many X-rays at a hospital done, I was told nothing is wrong with my back at all!! So long story short after that horrible experience I decided to try a private practice Chiropractor and thats were Dr. Tkackuk comes in. At a reasonable price of $50 for first apt and $25 every adjustment after that (my insurance does not cover anything) Dr. Tkackuk has helped me alleviate lower back pain that I have lived with my entire life up until and helped me with my neck pain (the original reason I wanted to try adjustments) Coming from a family that always voiced the opinion that Chiropractors are not real doctors, I encourage everyone if you have pain or not to get adjusted. It has really improved my life, I only wish my family would have let me go as a child!! DISCLAIMER: I was the most reluctant person EVER to go to a chiropractor. Eventually the pain in my neck and back got to be so bad, I had no choice. I found Dr, Tkachuk through my mother, so this review will reflect her experiences as well. She, like me, did not really believe in the chiropractic field. After a few appointments with Dr. Tkachuk and a few sessions with the medical masseuse, she absolutely raved about it. So I gave him a shot. I have to say, this guy knows what he is doing and has really helped getting my pain down. I believe that he has put me on a plan that will not just alleviate my pain, but help to prevent it in the future.
