They also usually have daily discounts on certain smoothies! My go to favorites are the Fan C, Manberry and the Tropical! They also have these healthy snack balls that are delicious and perfect for an after school snack for my 5yo! Things I love about Awesome Juice bar: - they're open every day! - friendly staff and service - the acai bases are made to order, and the menu options are extensive, e.g. peanut butter acai, various fruits, etc. I originally thought for example the mango and peach were pieces of fruit on top of the acai base, but it's all blended together AND THEN you can add 4 toppings. A couple areas of opportunity: - the acai base could use more flavor. I didn't get much peach flavor coming through in mine. - the fill (amount of acai base in the bowl) seemed slightly low. The 16oz bowls start at $12.90, which is about $0.50-$1 less than other equivalent offerings in the North Shore. Parking is tight in this strip mall lot (by Subway/Jiffy Lube). I've been wanting to try awesome juice bar since they opened. People that work in the area and live in the area seem to swear by their smoothies and bowls . I finally made it to the juice bar and ordered a berry bowl. Their base has an amazing consistency! They make it right there when you order it so it's not premade and frozen. I would say, I think the base needed a little more flavor ...so next time, I'll probably see if they have some vanilla protein powder that they can blend into the base. The toppings I got were strawberries, homemade granola! (it's amazing! Pick this one for sure), blueberries and an almond drizzle. The almond drizzle is a lot more than just a drizzle, which I found appealing, but if you're looking for only a little bit of almond butter, you might want to say "go easy on the almond butter". I really really enjoy this establishment! Located in a tight corner of the same parking lot as Jiffy Lube off of Glenview Rd it can be an easy miss. Customer service is friendly and major kudos for being a Latino owned company. You can tell they have a passion for what they are doing and are probably family owned. They use the FRESHEST fruits i have ever laid eyes on in mi vida (my life)!!! I even complimented them as they had everything prepped and laid out and the owner said they buy their fruits every day fresh. Simply amazing. I enjoy their açaí bowls and their green/kale smoothies. The is my favorite local smoothie bar ever. The name throws me off a bit because I assume they're like a chain but it's actually the most wholesome, truly healthy, no artificial flavors or sugary syrup pump bs juice bar. And the owner I believe decorates his whole juice bar with his own original paintings and art. Definitely recommend MR CACTUS (blended juice). I thought I wasn't going to like it but it's not bitter and has tropical refreshing taste to it. The #8 milkshake with almond milk and protein was such a great filling after workout shake. Not chalky at all. And my favorite treat was the ACAI BOWL with pineapple, granola and honey drizzle add ons!!! It was recommended by the owner and both my bf and I enjoyed every bite. I happened to stumble upon Awesome Juice Bar when I was in the area a few weeks ago. I had to pick something up from Facebook Marketplace after finishing a workout, and needed something to hold me over during my long drive back home. The small space does not look like much from the outside, but once you enter you are welcomed with a clean and nicely decorated interior. There is a bit of seating; I would say about fifteen people could fit at full capacity. There is also a little table with children's books available to read, which I found to be a cute and thoughtful touch. The menu is quite expansive, offering acai bowls, bagels, parfaits, juices, smoothies, and milkshakes. I ordered the number 7 milkshake, made with cacao, banana, peanut butter, and oat milk. I honestly ordered it with the firm belief that it is technically still smoothie - but correct me if I am wrong. Anyways, the drink was wonderful! You can tell they use fresh fruit and quality ingredients. I was reading through the menu and the information available at the counter, and appreciate how they do not use artificial flavors and sugars in their drinks. I also found the prices to be reasonable for the huge amount of food/drinks you get. The lady at the counter and the man who made and served me my drink were both very friendly and welcoming! Hands down my favorite small business out there! The PB Acai Bowl is the best acai bowl I've ever had! I'm always coming back for it. The presentation of the acai bowl is always perfect and picture worthy (as you can see with how many pictures I have of my bowls haha). I usually get my bowl with granola, cacao, and almond butter! The shop is located behind the Jiffy Lube with limited parking, but I never have trouble getting a spot. The inside of the shop is always clean and I love looking at the artwork they have up. The 12oz smoothie/juice deal of the day are all amazing as well. I've tried Miko, Manberry, and Awesome, which are all so good and fresh. I've also had their bagel with cream cheese and strawberries, which is just like any ordinary bagel, nothing special. The owners are always so sweet and go above and beyond to serve their customers. I'm a big fan of açaí bowls and I've tried dozens of juice bars in my area and this one wasn't a good experience. I paid $15 for the bowl and it was half empty with hardly any açaí and the manager didn't see a problem with it. This was definitely not worth the money. I won't be coming back. read more

Delicious refreshing smoothies! I usually like to stop at Tropical Smoothie Cafe, but my boyfriend and I were in the area and he recommended we try Awesome Juice Bar. We were delightfully surprised by the different smoothie options/food on the menu and how refreshing the smoothies were - even on a winter day! I ordered a berry açai bowl, and there was no Nutella option for an add, I added granola, and they only put about a tablespoon of granola on the top of the bowl and nothing at the bottom, and the açai base itself was not sweet at all. 13 dollars was not worth it. Threw half of it away. read more

I wanted to get out and support a great local business today, and, I have to tell you, this place did not disappoint! My experience was awesome ;-) No, really, I got the Awesome smoothie. It had pineapple, spinach, apple juice, and banana. What a perfect blend, and there was no added sugar whatsoever...just pure natural ingredients. So refreshing, and I felt a bit of a rush after I drank it. TBH, the time zone change was a killer for me (because I'm a night owl), so this was the perfect pick-me-up I needed on a sunny Sunday. Family-owned, with super friendly customer service. The place is bright, cheery, and spotless! The interior is small with three tables. I think there is enough seating for 8-10 people, so it's more of a take out place. Cute little play area for kids. Now for the downside. Parking is not awesome. In fact it's horrible. This little gem is tucked behind a Jiffy Lube, and it's pretty hard to find. The sign above their door on the building just reads *Awesome*. I drove past it twice. Worth the stop, but it's pretty far from where I live and not easy for me to get to. If you're in the area, I say go for it! Oh, and they have weekday specials for $2.99. I am so excited that a juice bar popped up in Glenview! This space is so bright and inviting and there's even a kids' table with books/toys. We ordered the PB açaí bowl and I can't rave about it enough. I only regret not getting another one to go. We also tried their fruit smoothies and they tasted extremely fresh and delicious. I can't wait to try their cold pressed juice next. The business is owned by a local Glenview family with kids at Henking, Hoffman and Attea and they couldn't be kinder people.
