The only problem is I was not prescribed an amphetamine. She suddenly discontinued my medication and put it in my medical records I was non-compliant. I was then treated like a drug addict and criminal by a member of the front desk staff when I called to follow up. All Nicole had to do was google if Ritalin is an amphetamine. She had multiple opportunities to speak with me about my negative drug tests but chose to try and catch me in a "lie". At best this is human error, at worst this is plain negligence. If Nicole wasn't comfortable or familiar with prescribing ADHD medication, she shouldn't have taken me on a patient as I told her getting my ADHD treated was my main concern. I wasted a year of my life trying to get adequate treatment from Nicole Carr and she failed me. I now see Katie Padberg at Sunny Day Psychiatry who has been compassionate and never once made me feel like I was a druggie or "medication seeking" Stay away from Nicole Carr if you go here.

Whitney, at the front desk, is the heart of the operation. She knows everything and will try her best to get you in. HOWEVER, there are not enough appointments here and it can be tough to get a slot. The billing system seems like a mess. Early on, I paid by cash a few times (big mistake) and it took weeks to iron out what I owed. Then, later, I was randomly charged $100 I didn't owe. These are great folks, but they need a new billing system. Okay, money stuff done. Jen Duffie is an exceptional physical therapist. She helped me in my very worst moments; when I was dealing with excruciating pain. She's encouraging and non-judgmental. I've also been treated by Ashley Crain, as well at PTAS Jenny and Emily. I grew up as a ballerina and needless to say it wasn't that easy on my body - I trained on concrete floors, pushed my muscles to the limit, and it ended up taking a huge toll on me once I hit my mid-twenties. For the past year and a half, I have only slept 3-5 hours a night, was often limping on my right leg, and was basically learning to just live with the pain. I went to so many doctors and spent thousands of dollars only to be told to try antidepressants. I was met with blank stares because my scans were all clean, and that it was a muscular issue. After the orthopedic route, I tried massage, sensory deprivation floating, and everything in between. I was basically taking Advil every few hours and still not sleeping. I had always had a negative opinion of chiropractors and I'm not sure why... but I was always against the idea, even when I was really being pushed to go by someone who saw the pain firsthand. I guess I finally got to a point where I would try anything, and I'm so glad I went to see Dr. Nancy. I'm actually really bummed I didn't do it much earlier. Nancy made my first visit so comfortable - I told her I didn't want my neck adjusted because it just freaked me out too much, and she gladly obliged (even though I bet she was secretly rolling her eyes at me.) Over the past 5-6 weeks I've been doing a combination of electro stem, acupuncture, and adjustments. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't a quick fix - I had some painful days for sure, but each week I've gotten better and I'm now officially at zero pain. I can't even believe it. My visits are becoming less and less frequent and I'm even back to the treadmill and light workouts. I am seriously so grateful for Nancy and also her awesome receptionist Lisa who is so friendly and makes appointment scheduling easy! Can't recommend this practice enough. Stop thinking about it and just go! PS. Wish I could give a sixth star just because I got to meet her cute rescue doggie the last time I was in.
