She was always on top of the shooting, making sure to stick with us for all the moments and capturing every little detail. The highlight reel she sent us for social media was almost immediate and my wife took a lot of pleasure sharing that one around our social circles - it was fun and vibrant and a nice way for our friends and family to relive a bit of the party. The pause between our wedding and seeing the final product was quite short as well and our video came to us in a little under 2 months (7-ish weeks, rounded up) and she made sure that before she sent us the link to watch our video, we were home together, relaxed and ready. She requested we record and send her a reaction video, and we obliged with gusto! The whole video was nearly 10 minutes long, and it captured everything about our wedding, and more-so my wife and I's love for each other. Needless to say, the tears kept streaming and our dog, who is trained to comfort us when we are sad didn't know who to comfort more! In our videos, Kianna took it upon herself to add subtitles for our elders' speeches, which were all in Vietnamese. Funnily enough, she recruited the help of our photographer, a close friend and friendor to make sure each word was accurate in both meaning and sentiment. She also provided us edited video from our ceremony and all of the toasts, as we agreed, and made sure to include all of the optimal angles. Kianna is an amazing videographer and an even better storyteller and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone to help capture and share your own love story. Communication with her was always so quick and easy, and she made us feel more like a close friend than client. We love Kianna and her work and look forward to working with her or just hanging our with her, again!

When I started my search, I was looking for the cheapest person I could find to simply record the ceremony. My fiancée, on the other hand, could not accept anything less than a professional videographer, but did not want to get in a $3k debt for it. I was in a hard place... When we started watching the videos of the professional videographers we loved it, but every time I asked the price it was either too much or they were booked for our date. Dove Weddings was the vendor with the highest ratings and number of reviews on the wedding sites I was looking at, so I decided to ask for a quote just to try (my hope never ends). Jason was quick to reply and said that my date was still available. He seemed really eager to talk to us, which separated him from the rest of the vendors who either took forever to reply to an email, or were just very short in their responses. Today I'm very thankful that Jason insisted on having (not just a call but...) a Face time call. We connected with him right away! And we could feel he genuinely cared about the couples he works for. During the call, he was very through in explaining everything that they do from start to end. That increased our confidence and trust in him even more. Not to mention, he helped us see the value of his service and worked with our finance limitation. Jason's price is fairer than the competition but the quality is just as great! Even though we didn't have a budget for it, we decided that it would be worth it to get a small loan for a video that we would be proud to share with our friends and family and to watch together and reminisce in the years to come. The day of the wedding, one of his trusted and professional videographers, Dustin, came to the hotel. He was on time and very professional. He made us (girls) feel very comfortable and respected. Especially during intimate times, or "breakdown" moments, he was always discreet and reserved. (I appreciate that very much). He was present in the most important moments, never inconvenient or disturbing - In fact, we almost didn't notice his presence at times. He was there until very late in the reception (which surprised me - I said "He's still here?"). I haven't received the video, and Jason told me it normally takes about 12 weeks to get it back as the editing process is what takes the longest. We understand, as we have both had some experience with editing, but we look forward to seeing the amazing work we're going to receive! :) I'll sure add to this review or write another one when we get it!

After meeting with several other videographers, we finally met with Jason and Lisa. We felt that they would be able to capture our wedding day with authenticity and beauty. They asked us questions about our personality and were genuinely determined to make our dream of what our wedding day would be like, become a reality. The couple was very accommodating to our needs and wishes and on the wedding day did a great job of making us feel special and excited! I actually arrived about an hour later to the venue then I had originally planned and lost some time with the videographers and photographers because of it, but when I arrived Jason calmed me down and assured me I could take my time writing my vows (they were on my phone but I wanted them on paper!).
