This is an authentic Mexican restaurant offering a variety of authentic Mexican food with a twist. We tried various tacos, churros and horchata. We enjoyed the tacos very much, especially the fish tacos, so we ordered a takeout order for 5 tacos and nachos. The owner Carlos is super nice and friendly, and the service is very fast too, would recommend if you'd like to try some real Mexican tacos .

If you are in the Vaughan area, this spot is a must visit for some delicious tacos! I came by with my brother for a late lunch, and we were the only ones eating in. There are a few more tables outside though would still only recommend for small groups. I got 5 tacos ($25.65) - Alambre, campechano, brisket, carnita, and the poyito. My favourites were the alambre, fish, and poyito tacos. I didn't think pineapples on a taco was a thing but the alambre certainly made it work! The fish was crispy and the mild chipotle kick of the chicken was perfect for my tolerance. Everything was devoured within minutes! The tacos came with both a mild and spicy salsa to dip as well, which added even more flavour. I got a Jarritos to pair with the tacos though there are even more options from nachos, churros, to other Mexican drinks. Looking forward to trying out the rest of the menu when the taco craving strikes again!

Ay Caramba delivers true Mexican flavor. I love the atmosphere around here with the little booths and lighting decor. The owner is extremely friendly and has passion about the food that they serve. Most of the dishes are house made. I love their secret hot sauces. Not so secret now but I highly recommend you ask for them. Portions are very generous for real tacos. The chicken and beef were incredible with such great flavor. The fish was super delicious with a good chunk of haddock. The churro was perfectly cooked and not overly oily. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside the way it should be. I like the way they serve their menu here with a flat price of five or three tacos. You can mix and match them any way you want or order all the same. There is no difference. I will definitely be coming back to try out some of the appetizers as five tacos filled me up and I couldn't have another bite. Great job! We'll be back.

So I like this place although they have just a couple to vegetarian tacos, but still l, they make them awesome. Their mushroom tacos are mind-blowing. Their salsa roja is tooo good. I always ask them to pack extra. When we were dining in, the sauces were complimentary and were homemade. Their churros are good too. I always order them even when we take out.

Been wanting to try this place for a while and last time I was in the area they are closed Sundays. Finally finally got to try this place a week or so ago. Got 5 tacos total including: brisket, carnita, potato power, alambre and fish. Really great stuff. Favorite was the carnita but the potato power was a close second. Didn't expect the potato power to be that good since it didn't have any meat in there but it was seasoned to perfection. The salsa dips they gave one mild, one spicy were also essential for the taste. Enjoyed all 5 tacos and even if you aren't that hungry you can go for 3 as well. Wish they were open Sunday as well (and was closer to richmond hill :)) cause I'd definitely be a frequent here!

Pretty good tacos You order 3 tacos for 12.99 pr 5 for 20. The tacos come filled with a lot of protein but not much sauce or toppings. I I thier tortillas they were tasty and thick enough to only need one and thin enough to not over power the filling inside. Beef- pulled brisket good but wish the flavors were just a little bit stronger and would prefer it with pickled onions rather than white onions. Pork - my least fav pulled pork was quite dry and lacked flavor Fish- tasty and paired well with toppings, slightly too much batter

This is a great spot to go to in Vaughan for tacos! Food is yummy and service is very friendly. We decided to order the carnitas, the al pastor, beef brisket, and the fish tacos. They were all pretty flavorful, and I loved all the spicy salsas that came with the tacos. My favorite was probably the beef brisket, it was so juicy and flavourful. The carnitas and fish were quite good as well. I liked the al pastor too, however I got a fatty piece of meat in it which I was not a fan of. Another favourite that we ordered was the ChilaquiNachos. They were absolutely delicious, with beans, tomatillo sauce, sour cream, and topped with chorizo. So yummy!! Would 100% order this again next time. We ended the night with churros which were good as well, but maybe a little more crunchier than I had hoped for. Overall, I had a very enjoyable experience at Ay Caramba, Eh. Will definitely go back when I am craving tacos and want to stay local!

LOVE this restaurant! It's a bit tucked away but so incredibly glad I found it. The interior of this place is small and hip. It had a few tables for dine in when we were still able to eat indoors. I wouldn't recommend big groups to dine in as you may not have a place to sit. The woman who helped us was so sweet and recommended their bestsellers for my partner and I. She even recommended a couple drinks to pair with it: a homemade rice coconut drink and a sparkling nonalcoholic wine. Every taco had such great flavour. I really enjoyed all of them and I honestly don't think you can go wrong with any choice you pick. I'd highly recommend this place, and can't wait to come back again!

Hidden gem in Vaughan, can't wait to go back for tacos. Service: The staff behind the counter was super friendly, and helped me decide on my order. She seemed like the owner of the restaurant, and was very inviting/welcoming, socializing with customers. Food: The homemade chips were very nice, especially with the salsas (as well as the sauce on each table). The tacos were the star of the show, with the carnita being my favourite, followed by the fish taco. It was so juicy, it was dripping with every bite, and the flavours formed a harmony in my mouth. It probably was all finished in a span of 10 seconds, but it was definitely some of the best tacos I've ever had (short of taking a trip to Mexico and Latin America). The grapefruit soda was also great to wash it all down. Overall: Cozy restaurant with nice decor and great food, can't wait to go back!

The environment is very pleasant. As a resident of LA, I'm always on the hunt for good tacos in Toronto The food is ridiculous; I got the original three tacos (chicken, carnita, choricheese) and they were great. When they first came out, they ruled a small office and became overly strict, with free chips and salsa on the side plus commission. Had a fun experience, tacos are convenient, and definitely come back when you want to stay local

Delicious meal. 50$ including tip for 2 people. The pork is really good. Fish was too salty so maybe pass on that. The nachos are really good value for price $12? And we brought it home after too.

The 3 Amigos: fish haddock, carnita and beef brisket tacos, with chips & salsa (takeout)

¡Ay, caramba! Eh... I had no idea there was such a popular Mexican eatery in the outskirts of the GTA. More precisely, this authentic spot is located at the end of a plaza off the Hwy 400 so you have to look hard to find it. Called ahead for takeout on a Friday night and arrived to a long waiting line at the front cash. My food was nowhere near ready which was a bit disappointing. But received complementary chips & salsa, which was a nice touch from the friendly owner. My advice is to try the spicy salsa, it has a real kick from the jalapeños for the taste buds! And true to ad, the food here was infused with scents/flavours of Mexico making it worth the visit and wait. Ordered the aptly named "3 Amigos": fish haddock, carnita and beef brisket tacos for $11.99. Both carnita (slow-cooked pork) & beef brisket were tender, moist and marinated deliciously. Fish was nicely battered and also topped with plenty of fresh garnishes like the others. Just a great triumvirate of tacos, albeit in small portions.

It was great value since one roll is already almost that price & different from all the other sushi places. Only one sushi dish seemed to come with raw fish though. We tried all the non vegetarian sushi except camarones a la diabla which was supposedly the spiciest of them all. They get 4.5 stars. Angie roll was pretty good though it sounded more flavourful than it was. Birria roll was decent; I like Birria but this was not that good & the dip was dilute. Banana roll was good; the banana flavour went surprisingly well with the roll. Marielos roll was decent. Luigi roll was pretty good & barely spicy. Rock shrimp was good. Caramel shrimp was good but rock shrimp was better. Both came on rice. Toronto roll was decent; the spiciness did not compliment the dish. Guamuchilito roll & Carne asada roll were pretty good; I liked the crunch of latter & it had tasty beef but it was tough. Tatito og roll was pretty good: the cheese flavour came out more than in most of the other rolls. Miguel roll was the cheesiest & creamiest roll & pretty good. Aguachile mango roll was a cold dish & very spicy despite having only 2 chilis. It wasn't good. Princess roll was a bit bland with too much rice to other ingredients but otherwise good. It was very big & not spicy despite having 2 chilis. The creamy corn dip was good. Avocado special roll was decent. The spiciness creeps up on you. It seemed to be the only item with raw fish. The staff were overloaded & service was slow. The soy sauce compared to Japanese soy sauce was same same but different; lighter, with a fruity edge. The rice was heavy - it seemed to be glutinous. Tres leches cake (not in the buffet) was pretty good & big for $15.

There was a selection of different foods: Pozole, Menudo, beans, beef, chorizo, chicken with mole, rice, potatoes, tamales, tortillas, and a few more dishes. Nothing tasted good. It was simply bland and/or OK. They were slow to replenish. Overall, we couldn't wait to leave. It just was not a great presentation nor tasty.
