Been a patient at Pure Smiles for almost 7 years now. I liked the older days when my dental visits felt more personable. Nowadays the dentists I get seem to have no real intent and show little to no interest in you as an individual. It's like you're just a number to them giving no final explanation for full understanding of your overall checkup. I have to question things I hear them saying to one another as if you're (the patient) isn't right there in the room or if the hygienist tells me something very specific about a potential concern, the dentist doesn't speak to it unless I actually raise the question myself. We love Pure Smiles! Dr. Chad and Dr. Stephanie are great. I take my 3 year old to see Dr. Stephanie and she is so good with him! He loves the fact that they have TVs and can watch Octonauts, he can wear cool sunglasses, and can get a prize if he does a good job. Then office has a small room with toys for kids to play while waiting. Dr. Stephanie did a fabulous job on my crowns. They create them in-house so you don't have to get a temp or come back. The front office ladies are very nice and friendly and the office in Westerville is so beautiful! They also offer complementary coffee and drinks. read more

This place has changed my whole attitude toward dentistry. I've always known it was important but had some real anxiety because of past experiences. I've met and spoke with probably 3 different dentist and hygienist at this practice over the years and a couple front office people. They have all been thorough and professional while also being kind, patient, and easy to talk to. They've been clear about what needed to be done, it's cost, and flexible with scheduling. So this was my 80yr old mom's 1st appointment to see about getting dentures she has 4 teeth in the bottom which we've been waiting for them to get weak enough to come out on their own however they have not come out as yet and she needs new dentures. I took her for an appointment and the 1st thing they did when we walked in for the consultation were x-rays on her whole mouth and then we sat in the room waited for the dental assistant who came in spoke with us went over the x-rays and then The dentist came in she was very nice, attentive, respectful and and we have our 2nd appointment to go back to discuss with the dentists abouthe dentists about how to move forward with extractions on extractions on the lower teeth and and implants for her dentures. The office was very roomy very spacious and it offered drinks thanks for you while you were waiting to see the dentist. All of the staff were very nice and extremely professional. read more

You just lost a patient! The policy of no show is absolutely horrible!! I was coming for cleaning (as it is paid for through my insurance plan) and being late 11 minutes shouldn't be a problem! I was late because my car broke down and i had to take it to service And now I have to be charged when I book another appointment!! From the moment you walk through the door you get the feeling that they're going to take care of you. The waiting room is beautiful and spacious. The staff is so warm and they convey the message that everything is going to be all right. I've been to other dental offices where I felt uncomfortable around the assistants and hygienists. That is not the case here. My teeth needed a lot of attention but Dr. Jess reassured me that they aren't as bad as I thought and everything was doable. My last dentist pulled a couple teeth and never talked about replacing them. Dr. Jess took a few days then called me with her plan for restoring my smile. Scheduled an appointment to have my daughters crown reattached which had come off. Said they had a checkup and cleaning special and would schedule a longer appointment to get both done. Called me back after they were finished to say okay we have a plan for her which included additional work and a recommendation to remove her wisdom teeth which she has had no problems with. When I asked about gluing the crown back on said they didn't do that but we could schedule an appointment 3 weeks out for the other work and they could do it then. I was upset and said crown issue is what I made the appointment for so I had to come back the next day. Bait and switch...just wanted to sell us a dental plan and take her wisdom teeth out. I highly recommend Pure Smiles! I moved to columbus a few years ago and had been driving back to my hometown (2.5 hours away) back to my dentist. I was tired of driving and decided I would give somewhere closer a try, and I had such a great experience! I have high anxiety with the dentist's office and my hygienist made me aware of everything that was happening and walked through the details to ensure I was comfortable. When the dentist came in, I really didn't feel as nervous as I normally would- and that's hard to accomplish! Although this was an emergency visit it was a pleasant experience. The entire staff was friendly and professional. The office was very clean and they are following the CDC guidelines. My son was nervous but Kelly our Dental Assistant made him feel comfortable, she talked and joked with him.
