I've been a member for about 3 months and it's been such an incredible experience so far. Sivan was super helpful and helped me sign up. Her and along with everyone else I've encountered with have been nothing but wonderful. I did my assessment and complimentary personal training session with Jenn. She has such an extensive knowledge about wellness especially when it comes to women's health. She gave me some pointers about rebuilding my pelvic floor strength and put together a plan for me. I've also attended a few mat pilates and spin classes, which were great. Last month, I had a facial in their spa which was relaxing and exactly what I needed after not having a facial for almost a year. On a few occasions, I've brought my son with me and had him stay in the Kids Club. Emme and the others are so sweet and welcoming. Overall my experience at Equinox Woodland Hills has been really wonderful - from the welcoming staff, clean facility, variety of classes, to the positive vibes. Now as a working mom, I don't have as much time to go as often but I'm hoping to keep up with my work out routine.

I have been training with the same coach for 10 years, but he lives outside the United States, so I train with him online. This has been my established training routine for many years. I was told that speaking on the phone while training is not allowed. I understand having rules, but the enforcement felt extremely inconsistent, as I regularly saw other members talking on the phone and recording videos while working out. I explained that I was not disturbing anyone, was not speaking loudly, and was willing to train in a corner. I spoke with the General Manager and explained that if I could not continue training with my coach, I would have to cancel my membership. Unfortunately, I was simply told that I could cancel. After being a member for over a year, I was extremely disappointed by the way this was handled. For a premium gym, I expected much better customer service and a more reasonable approach. Based on my experience, I do not recommend Equinox Woodland Hills. There are many newer gyms in the area with modern equipment, polite and welcoming staff, and much better customer service. In my opinion, Equinox Woodland Hills does not justify its premium price. Based on my experience, I do not recommend it.

She stepped up with strong leadership, effectively acting in a regional manager capacity to ensure all areas were clear and safe. She made sure personnel exited the building properly and moved to a safe location. After the all-clear was given, which she personally helped confirm, Victoria reassured members that everything was safe and took the time to personally check on everyone. It is people like Victoria who make this place feel safe, welcoming, and truly worth being a part of. Kudos to her for her leadership, professionalism, and genuine care.

However, the…read moregym has becoming increasingly crowded and members use the walking areas to spread out equipment so it becomes very difficult to move about the gym easily. The two small mat areas for stretching are crowded and often times unavailable. I often see coaches chit chatting on the mats and taking up space that could be used for workouts. The movable equipment like the boxes often are filled with personal item like phone and headsets so it's not easy to just grab what you need easily. Several times over the past few months the gym has had no hot water and/or no steam. I utilize the gym before work so this is a major issue. In fact as a write this just received a notification of no hot water. ‍ The sign up part was awesome, with Equinox providing guests passes, gift receipts for the store etc....ending the membership, however, has been painful. I started the process a week ago and my email wasn't on file despite providing all of my info thru the signup process. When I attempted to end my membership thru the email provided it had expired only two days later. Calling back, had to provide my email again. Went thru the cancellation process only to encounter an "error" at the end. Attempted several additional times with same result. Called the club and was informed a "report" had to be made and sent to the general manager for approval. What? My husband is now encountering the same shenanigans. No email on file, no address blah blah. The Equinox front desk manager was rude and condescending saying "I'm sorry mame" over and over. Extremely disingenuous attitude and tone as if just to get me off the phone and not genuinely sorry. Overall an awful experience. Beware, this is a hotel California membership.

Current D1 and alumni players (even coaches!) from CSUN and other colleges, Varsity coaches from nearby highschools. Lots of previous Elite players come back to assist and become coaches themselves. - Family oriented. - High energy clinics and practices - Great place to start AND end the volleyball club journey - Focused on developement, attitude, and work ethic, not just winning. - Not the most expensive, not the cheapest, but the most value per dollar in our opinion/experience CONS: - Because of the rapid growth, the scheduling can be hectic with up to 3+ different locations to practice (all within 10-15 min of each other). If a school gym is closed or being repaired (ony happened once so far), the schedule gets tight. They have pvioted well during these times and kids are still getting their deserved volleyball practices. ------------------------- Our story... My daughter has played club volleyball for 8 years all on the -1's team at 3 different clubs before calling Legends home. Her last 3 years with Socal Legends were her best. She was still able to improve, develop and hone skills at the later age. In contrast to her previous "premier" club, (The club as a whole was good) but she had a coach that did not have a development plan, she didn't even break a sweat in some practices! She was setup to fail at every tournament. Minimal feedback or instruction, minimal encouragement. She felt that she was getting worse and was not good enough. This "1's" coach almost discouraged her enough to quit the sport altogether. Once I saw that he was moving up with her age group, we left. This is the consequence of a bad coaching. She attended a clinic at Socal Legends to accompany an old teammate and not expected to join. She was amazed with the pace, positive and electric atmosphere! She had so much fun and while tired, she felt like it ended too soon. At this clinic a coach (CSUN alumni libero) asked her to be on his 18's-1's team as Lib2! (she was 15 at the time) This was the reassurance she needed. We decided to give Legends a chance. She got great coaching, great skill development, and encouragements. She continued to play on 16-1's, 17-1's and won a National Title! My son is currently in his 3rd year and is consistently improving under different coaches. He's developed into a great player with a high VB IQ. Most coaches here have had decades of experience. Some are current or D1 alumnis from CSUN, both mens and womens teams. Other coaches are head coaches at nearby colleges and highschools. Both my daughter and son were recognized by the current and ulumni liberos and OH's from CSUN (4 different coaches) and was invited to play on their teams which in itself was validation for my kids. They got specific position development and coaching. We highly recommend Socal Legends.
