Candy Land Kids Play Place is honestly such a great spot if you have little kids. We went not…read morereally knowing what to expect, and ended up staying way longer than planned because the kids were having so much fun. Everything is super colorful and set up in a way that actually keeps them entertained instead of getting bored after 10 minutes. One thing I really appreciated was how clean it was. That's always my biggest concern with indoor play places, and this one felt really well taken care of. The staff were also really nice and present without being overbearing, which made the whole experience feel easy and comfortable. There's a good mix of things to do too--areas for younger kids and enough going on for slightly older ones so no one feels left out. It's one of those places where kids can just run around and be kids while parents can actually sit for a second and breathe. Overall, it just felt easy, fun, and stress-free. Definitely a spot I'd come back to or recommend to other parents looking to get their kids out of the house.

I especially loved how safe everything felt--soft play structures, well-organized zones, and staff who were friendly and attentive. It's also such a great spot for playdates or even birthday parties. Plenty of seating for parents, and honestly, it's one of those rare places where both kids AND adults leave happy. Highly recommend if you're looking for a fun, stress-free place to let the kids burn energy and have a blast. We'll definitely be back!

The good: I cannot believe I didn't know about this place…read moresooner! This place was amazing for my two kids (age almost 3, and almost 5). I loved how most of it was outdoors with natural elements. The physics area had tanbark. There were yurt-type tents for private birthday parties. There's a theater area where people played guitar and performed songs like "you got a friend in me." Parking was free! The parking lot was massive and easy to find a spot. The stream was fun for kids to get wet in without the dangers of sharp real rocks. I also loved the stream and sand area with soft rocks. My kids could've stayed in that area forever. There were also climbable areas with well-thought out side spaces for parents to follow their kids without parents having to get into the play structure itself. We enjoyed tie-dyeing cloths and bicycle riding. I liked how there were different size bikes and even a 2 person bike. My older toddler drove my little toddler but adults can also ride in the bike and peddle for little ones sitting in the front. The neighborhood around the museum was also beautiful with mature canopy trees and natural canyon-looking areas. The price is also really affordable at $15-16 pp. There's senior discounts as well. In the craft room my kids made adventure books. We spent 3 hours there but could've easily spent more if it weren't for kids being too tired. The bad: We didn't fully get to explore the indoor area because it was really crowded. We didn't see the foam blue blocks that Blippi played with in his episode. There was a long wait for the bike rides but it was because each kid gets to go 4-5 laps. $6 dip-n-dots in a tiny bag are a rip off. I wish they had better ice cream options there. The interesting: At the entrance they had two folks on guitar to welcome you. I liked the colorful mosaic tunnel. They sold Pocky for $3 and other snacks.

We managed to go on the last day of butterfly season and my kids really loved all the butterfly touches. We even purchased our own caterpillars to take home with us :) Parking wasn't too bad and the weather was great on this day, but it was pretty busy. We mostly stayed outdoors and there were plenty of things for the kids to do. Definitely bring a change of clothes though because there is some water play. We'll be back :)

I used to visit Outside the Box often and always had a good experience, but unfortunately things…read morehave gone downhill recently. * The first time, my class was canceled last minute -- I had already parked in the lot. They promised a refund, but I never received it until I followed up multiple times, and eventually they gave me a credit instead. * The second time, I showed up and the door was closed with nobody there. Again, I didn't receive the credit until I reached out a second time. * The third time, my class was once again canceled last minute. At that point, I decided I was done and had to request a refund again. It's very frustrating to plan my schedule, drive over, and arrive ready for class only to find cancellations without proper communication or timely refunds. I really enjoyed my past experiences here, but the lack of reliability and follow-through has made it difficult to continue.

I realized it and asked the teacher if I was in the right spot. She said I was not and to call the office and talk to them about it. I called the phone number she gave me AND the one listed online (left 2 voicemails bc no one ever picked up) and I emailed them and no one ever replied to me. I wasted $20 because I left after the second song... the class wasn't even good. It was a teacher who plays a Spotify list of songs and then you put on different hats to each song while they do hand motions to the song. It was SUCH a SAD excuse for a music class, esp after having experienced Lovebug and Bloom. Also, The elephant hat smelled so bad I couldn't put it on. It was disgusting. They really need to either get some new hats or wash them or something. It smelled like wet dog. Overall, this place seemed kind of rundown. I will never be back because why would I spend money in a place with a zero customer service and subpar classes?
