Instead on this trip, I had a free room available in my account, which I wanted to redeem before expiring. First of all, the front desk people are very sweet and were very knowledgeable about the hotel and the amenities included. It was also around $35 for overnight parking, which I guess was okay considering I was only staying one night. The parking garage is adjacent to the hotel. Couple of the reasons I came is for the swimming pool and the gym. It seems this is what the hotel revolves around; that and the kid care. Entering into the hotel room, it was super clean and very nice. They have a no-smoking policy in the room, which I love because certain hotels don't have that kind of policy and the rooms smells horrible. When I woke up in the morning, I had a view of the pool and spa. It seemed there was a class in the pool and it looked really fun and I didn't know they had classes. Unfortunately, I didn't have any time to see the gym, but I will my next trip to this hotel. Next time I head to this hotel, I'll have more to review but for now, this is all I have to say. It is a small gym and the equipment is older (especially the weights and the weight machines) yet besides basic leg machines you can find here everything you need. Since it is a small space it can get crowded very fast especially when teenagers decide to hang out (not work out). From time to time you will have a macho guy with an attitude show up but overall it is a friendly place. The lap pool is nice if you can visit during fall and winter. Once the kids are out- just forget it. I cannot even imagine what the summer will be like. With that goes the bathrooms- water everywhere. I hope they will have the maintenance people visit more often during the busy times. The hot tub is nice as long as you don't have kids making out in there- again- the school months are the most enjoyable. The tennis courts are nice but tend to fill up fast so unless you sign up you are out of luck. I have yet to try the racquetball but am planning on it. As for the staff some are real friendly and nice some grumpy and bitter. All depends who is on the shift. Overall not a bad place to keep in shape.

His rulings were not applied to his own players, and when questioned he became aggressive, escalating the situation and harassing the other coach. During the match, Scott Myers ignored standards of fairness, created havoc, and repeatedly stopped play over whistle blows that were never made. Youth event standards were completely ignored by this man, and parents on the other team all complained to the director about the anger he exuded.

And there's hot yoga. They offered a week for you to try the gym and the amenities, which was very generous. It's super close to my house so I was really hoping I would absolutely love everything about this gym since I already do Pilates and hot yoga elsewhere, but was really looking to add in weightlifting to my routine. I took a Pilates class with Mia... She was excellent! Very similar to what I am used to... Great instruction, but also perfectly challenging. I would go back and take her class in a heartbeat. I may even pay for add-ins to take her classes if the timing works out for me. The hot yoga class that I took was definitely hot, which I love! It was an extremely different style, that I am totally not used to so it was nice to experience it complementary... But I don't know that I go back. The instructor was fabulous and you can tell. She knew what she was doing and had a great following... I just don't know if that style is for me. Now for the gym - it's very, very VERY outdated - and pretty small. Most of the equipment seems like it's 20 years old or more. They keep the gym very clean- it was just small, kinda dark, and outdated. Front desk, staff and everyone I spoke to was extremely nice, friendly, and helpful. I would rate the gym portion of three and the rest of the amenities. I've experienced a five... That is the reason for my four-star rating. If the gym was nicer, I probably would've signed up for the top-tier membership, since that's the reason I wanted to check it out in the first place.

Since the non heated yoga classes were added, I've tried several very creative, inspiring classes for all levels. Yin+Reiki+Sound (Wendy Skinner), Meditation + Sound (Dylan Churchill) and Breathwork (Nicole Ferro)- All wonderful and there are more non-heated classes yet to try. This is a CLEAN, friendly, safe gym with great pricing. I'm a fan.
