Aquaman pool service went beyond their normal scope of work for our pool. They helped acquire additional companies to help get the pool up and running after my father passed away. I do not live in the same state, I needed help getting propane company to slurry the old tank and replace the propane tank above ground. The pool is sparkling and ready to go for the new owners with warranties on their work. I would like to personally thank Pam and Wendy they are an accent to their company. A power surge severely damaged the motherboard of my Hayward pool pump. Pam at AZ Aquaman assisted with navigating the warranty and their technician was able to get the pump restored in 3 days! The customer service was superb (don't see that today with many businesses), their timeliness was excellent, and they were very affordable! I would high recommend them!! read more

Completely unprofessional business, has not provided a service record since last September among other things. Unreliable - No pool service the week of Thanksgiving, no reason or notice given. Changed prices and services without notifying us, their customer. Very dissatisfied, will not recommend to anyone! We'll find services elsewhere. read more

Unpleasant they keeping driving into my private property everyday Morning at 6am to 7am I told them stopped and they won't face talking! AZ Aquaman Pool Care & Repair had to come out to Maricopa and replace my filter motor on my 1.5 year pool. Brandon can out, checked out the issue, gave me a full run down on the issue and a rough estimate on when the parts would come in he'd be out and install the new filter pump. It took about week for the parts to come in from the manufacturer, but Brandon kept me informed via text messages throughout. When he returned he was on time and took care of the issue. The pool runs like a champ now. Brandon is very good at his job and keeps the customer up to date on when he will be back to complete the job. Thanks Brandon. read more

First I would like to give them a negative star. We are new to owing a pool and this company was recommended to us. We started out with them recommending a drain, acid wash, scale buildup sandblasting. Well that all went ok. After that it went to hell in a hand basket. First off the communication skills of this company are ridiculously poor. You always start with dawn who is no help when all she tells you is she will have to call someone or she will ask them to contact you and you never hear back or maybe a week later, maybe more. We don't live in our home full time quite yet so hoped to have a company that could look after our pool while we aren't there. I (without my husband this trip) had to show up to discover our pool pump was not circulating. By the looks of it that was going on for at least a week before "I" discovered it. Cleaner (they call them technicians) was there at least two weeks when I showed up and told him it wasn't working. He was surprised even though he is supposed to check that the pump is working every week ‍. He said he would put in a service request. Nobody contacted us, I finally called and dawn said oh I can get you on the schedule a week and a half. Ok this week two my pool isn't circulating (they claim it could have gone out just before I arrived, that was dawns quote) No communications on what was happening so we call again and get dawn . Oh we ordered the relay that they diagnosed was the problem. Well really they said they would have to replace that to see if there was a problem with the motor or and oops we didn't get you on the schedule to install the relay, yet another week delay to get on their schedule . By then I'm getting pissed! My pool has been down a month. Oh and she say btw our manufacturer told us the relay might be back ordered and we might not have it by your appointment to install it. We demanded the information on the relay knowing we might be able to get it and install it on our schedule trip down. Well this part was ordered from Amazon (dawn sent us a copy of the order). We ordered it and had it in two days WTF. Noooo communication whatsoever that they received the relay or installed it. We got called by the technician (finally) (on our way down to our place) and the relay was installed but the motor was tripping the breaker ‍ and he was instructed to disconnect the motor. Uhhh then what, his response was that is what he was instructed to do and no more than that. This was the THIRD TRIP BY A SERVICE MECHANIC. Again we call the office, again dawn talks like she knows what she is doing. We demand to talk to one of the owners this was ridiculous that again we were in hold mode. Oh and btw the owners were on vacation and could not call us back until next week. We arrived the next day and my husband had it running in an hour. We still didn't receive a call until later the next week from mark and said we need to get this taken care of. Guess what mark we got it running with no help from your organization. Ridiculous situation we had to deal with of which our pool was down over a month so you can only imagine the shape it was in. To top it off our "weekly tech" shows up after we got it going and was like oh I didn't know your pool was down. Number one your the one that put in the service request and two aren't you supposed to be checking that every week ‍. He shocked the pool,turned on the pump and left. Horrible service!!!! This is not a company you can rely on to care for your pool when you are not able to. Communication is horrible! And they wonder why you yell at them when you call. read more

I really would like to give a local small business 5 stars but I will explain why I can't. We spent a few thousand dollars for AZ Aquaman to replace an old pool pump. Let me start by saying both technicians who came to our house were great to work with and mentioned if we had any follow up questions to contact the office. We were not home during the installation. I got home when he finished up and he said he set everything up including the timer. He gave me the user manual and if we needed to adjust the timer settings. We needed to back flush this week and we weren't sure how the system works. First we checked the manual the technician left which did not include instructions. Second, we went to the Hayward website but our model was not listed on the website. My husband called the office a few days ago because after spending a few thousand $ you don't want to start playing around and mess something up. The office staff was not helpful. She basically said we will need to pay for a service call ($99) to send someone to our house to show us the switch. She referred us to the manual and the website which we did prior to calling. We explained to her our model has no instructions so she suggested looking at another model because they are all similar. Once again, they are not the same. She said, "well I guess I can ask a technician to call you tomorrow in the morning and they confirm where the switch is located". That was a few days ago. I am guessing we will never hear back. read more

We are so pleased with AZ Aquaman Pool Care. My daughter had just closed on a home purchase and the pool needed attention. On my first call into the office, Robin was so helpful and really listened to our needs. She set us up right away with a technician to come out to assess the pool. Brandon came out right on schedule, giving us a call to confirm he was on the way, (which we appreciated). He made multiple trips, always sharing information and giving us choices for the plan before he took actions. He did complete all the work and the pool looks great! When my pool sprung a leak, a week before closing, I turned to Mark for help. He calmed my anxiety, called The Leak Squad, and with the help of sonar, found the leak...repaired it...and the house sale was only delayed a week! Thank you, thank you Mark and staff! My only criticism is that they are closed on the weekends and have no emergency number. For someone who knows nothing about pools, despite having one for 13 years, I would prefer having an emergency contact. read more

They came out quickly and inspected the damage on a portion of the rolled-bond beam and provided a reasonable estimate. They were able to accommodate a date to make the repairs that fit my schedule and today, Mark and his crew arrived this morning to complete the work.
