I can't say enough wonderful things about Rich and Bottom Feeder Pool Care. We finally found our forever pool company and it's only been 1 month lol. My case is somewhat tricky as cleaner moved bit slow, which can be caused with many reasons. I did some researches and reached to several pool services for solutions. I was told most likely the designated line could be clogged and needs Co2 to get through, that is estimated between $85 and $150 to start... First I want to start by saying this is a completely unsolicited review (all my positive reviews have been requested but I have not been even remotely nudged into writing this). Second I want to say that my sister just got a new pool. I'm currently staying with her at her new house (in San Tan Valley) and the third week we had the pool we had family coming into town. There were unfortunately a couple huge rain storms and the pool looked awful! Like a murky lake. It was green and gross and you couldn't even see the steps. My sister frantically reached out to several pool companies early that morning (that night family would be arriving). Bottom Feeders (Rich) was not only the first to reply, but the only one, and Rich literally came out first thing that morning, about an hour after being contacted. He and his colleague Mike got the pool cleared up, spent probably an hour or more patiently explaining everything to me (Rich assured me there were no stupid questions which there are but he's sweet and calmed my anxieties over this new pool telling me it's normal to stress about it and he'd take care of everything). Rich also checked in later that evening and even came out early the next morning (while family was still sleeping but I was up) to add a few more chemicals to the pool to make it sparkle because he wasn't completely happy with the clarity. We immediately signed on to make them our regular pool company and Rich didn't charge us for the first visit and included it in the monthly fee. He checked in a couple more times after that to make sure everything still looked good and that we were happy and gave me a few instructions to keep it looking nice! If I could give Bottom Feeders more than 5 stars I would! I am beyond pleased with their service. Rich, the owner, is amazing! He's extremely communicative, responsive, personable, knowledgeable, thoughtful, he checks in if there's something worrying you about your pool (rain and dust storms that destroy the clarity of your water when you're about to have guests over). Mike is also incredible. Both of them take their time answering my ridiculous amount of questions and making sure I'm happy! They are also nice, down to earth guys, which I appreciate. They also send texts to let you know they are on their way and updates with photos after they service your pool, which is a bonus. Oh and they are extremely reasonably priced in my opinion (chemicals are included in their price which is significantly less than if you're maintaining your pool on your own and buying all the chemicals you're told you need to buy-- tried that and we were spending 4 times as much.) My situation was unique. I recently bought a house with an above-ground pool. During closing, the system GFCI tripped due to a storm and basically didnt pump for a month. I decided i didnt want the pool anyway and was looking for a company to drain it. I got rejected by every business EXCEPT Bottom Feeder Pool Care. They actually made an exception for me since it was such a small job and came through on time and knocked it out for me. The price was great and Richard actually took down the pool for me as a nice gesture (i didnt expect that so it was a great surprise and saved me the headache of dealing with it later.
