Oh my goodness this company is amazing. Honest, ethical good quality work done on a timely manner. The tech didn't rush through it but really took time to diagnose the issues so it could be fixed properly the first time. The tech Richard was very patient as he explained to me. What needed to be repaired and got it all done the same day as the initial visit which worked out because he didn't have to order parts. He came prepared. Instead of immediately booking the appointment, she suggested I give it one more try. I really really appreciate it when a service business does this. Robert and Philip were excellent to deal with. They completed the job on time and at the price quoted. Robert had a tough job on this one because he had to clean up a horrible mess that New Image Pool & Landscaping left me with. They corrected all the sharp edges and broken glass tiles that New Image had left me with as well as fixed several leaks in the waterfall that New Image pool failed to fix and left me with. I will call and highly recommend Pool Buddies for all my pool needs from here on out. After calling 5-6 hot tub companies that were recommended, finally got my tub working because of pool buddies. I needed a diverter to be replaced and it was in a difficult spot as the previous homeowners built the tub in on all 3 sides. They were able to use and replace the part that I ordered (some companies wouldn't use the part you order and want to charge you a lot more to get it for you) . My pool sprung this humongous leak! It was the actuator valve, spewing water all over the place! I immediately called Shasta Pools. Why? Because they built the pool, and they remodeled it twice, repaired it a number of times and recently, replastered it. The young girl on the phone said they could get a technician out as early at September 7th!!!! I said WHAT?" Today is July 14th!! My pool would be ruined by then! I got off the phone and checked out "Pool Buddies" on YELP. (I never heard of them before.) Mostly 5 star ratings from their customers. I called them and the very happy young lady said they can be out as early as tomorrow morning! The tech came at about 10am, (his name is Richard, cool name) and he was awesome. Very knowledgeable, 20 years experience. He did an outstanding job, and was very fun to talk to. I am so impressed with "Pool Buddies!" Pool Buddies LLC was called out for my AHS Warranty. My pool pump housing had cracked and was leaking water when the pump was on. The technician was diagnosed the issue due to misuse/abuse because my skimmers were full of debris because I had yet to empty the baskets for that week. How is the pump housing crack due to misuse/abuse? I obviously did not hit the housing with a hammer... complete incompetence! The technician also mentioned that it had been leaking for a while because of the calcium build up, which I acknowledged because my pump only runs at night and I had noticed the leak during a back wash session. Because of the misdiagnoses my claim with AHS was decline. Asked to speak with the manager of Pool Buddies and never heard back from them. Customer service was non existent, the operator/front desk person basically said that they do not monitor what the technician reports to AHS, you would think it would be reviewed with the client before they send their results over. Would not recommend this company if it was the last pool company on earth! read more

When Richard arrived we mentioned a few other issues we were experiencing (issues other pool companies couldn't/wouldn't fix).
