I left them alone to do other stuff and came in to check on them a couple hours later. They were working and chatting, we were all chatting shortly, I showed them where cold drinks were and went back to my work. I returned about 4:00 and checked in with them, they were going to be another couple hours. I gave instructions on leaving and went to where I'm staying. Next afternoon I was walking around inside the house. It still smelled like cigarettes, windows looked dingy. I got a paper towel with a little bit of spray on it and ran it along a window frame top. It was nearly black with dust and grit. I wiped the windowsill with a clean part and got the same. Now I was curious...I found water spots on faucet chrome, hand marks on a door frame, walls were not wiped down, some shelves still had stains from old food containers ( these did not completely clean up when I went over them, but they lightened considerably), the washer had cobwebs behind it and a hand smear on the top, the dials had not been wiped down. I could see oils from people's skin around the knobs. I got a referral for Ericsson's by someone who raved about them. I was disappointed. I got a normal house cleaning, not a "deep cleaning". I called the office and explained, they were very apologetic and said they'd have the girls come and fix it. I never got a call, my husband either. They said they went again, I wasn't there. They said they must've left a window open the first visit. One night and a day would not create that much dust on the tops of cupboards, door frames, washer , etc... There ought to be inservices on what defines "deep cleaning" in the company. Otherwise, they were on time, admin was cheerful and professional, I received a thorough estimate of charges.

Max, called to confirm the extra time so Carla could continue to work. The whole time Carla was available for questions and asked for my inspection after the work. She was very pleasant to talk to and helpful. Tip was added to the invoice after the work was completed. No need to hand over cash or deal with cards. The work was beyond great. Dusted, mopped, trash emptied, mirrors clean, trash liners added to the dust bins, and even the paper label put over the toilet cover and seat to show it had been sanitized. Great team Carla and Max. The ladies that came to clean our house did a good job, I won't deny that. But the whole process would have been a lot smoother and less frustrating had the coordination and billing been more upfront. I requested a move out cleaning and had coordinated pricing based on square footage and rooms with someone over the phone. They knew what they were quoting me for. I'll admit, my rental did need a little more work but it wasn't in obscene condition by any means. I thought superb maids' pricing was competitive, until the day of the cleaning. Only 2 hours into the cleaning, I got a call, they hit me with an additional $315 dollar fee because they needed more time. They gave me the option to not pay the fee but that meant "prioritizing" certain areas and not completing the move out clean. When I booked the service, I got the impression that the cost was a flat fee for the specific service. At no point did they discuss additional fees with me. Also keep in mind that on their website, under the move out cleaning page it specifically says: "Tasks are defined and approved before the service begins -- pricing is fixed in advance" Which was very misleading in my case. The staff were all friendly, and good to work with (as good as it could be with a situation like this I suppose). But the whole situation left me blindsided and with a bad taste in my mouth. If you're looking to hire superb maids, they'll do a decent job, but make sure you ask about fee pricing up front so you don't get surprised on the back end. P.S. check your trash bins after a move out cleaning. One of the "typical" services included with move out is supposed to include "trash removal", yet they left trash in my bin which was a no go on my move out inspection with my landlord.

We keep our home pretty clean but the deep cleaning takes time and energy and we had a family party coming up so I wanted a little extra help. The lady who cleaned our home was nice I wish i could remember her name. she showed up with her own supplies and came on time. we did a walk through in the beginning and end. I told her my focus points which were my bathrooms, kitchen, and dusting and wiping down my inside windows. She was transparent with me about one of my showers having mold in the caulking that was difficult to remove and I Understood. I think she did a good job overall but I wouldn't call this a deep cleaning in my opinion. I think if you really want a deep cleaning you need at least 2 people. I think I paid $175 and tipped her $40 as well and I do feel like it was a fair price for the cleaning that was done. I was really hoping baseboards, cabinets, and fridge doors would be wiped down. She did a good job in my bathrooms and oven was clean inside as well but not my microwave. Don't expect them to sweep or vacuumed under furniture tho.
