When I was eventually assisted, the interaction felt unfriendly and unwelcoming, which was disappointing as this was my first time visiting the office. I was not seen until approximately 15 minutes after my scheduled appointment time on top of getting there 15 mins early. The first staff member I encountered during my walk to the room my visit was very kind and welcoming, which I appreciated. The provider I was scheduled with was professional and direct; However, I was concerned by the way information regarding prenatal care was communicated. I had only found out that I was pregnant two days prior to this appointment, and my intention for the visit was to confirm the pregnancy and receive guidance on next steps, including when to begin prenatal vitamins. During the discussion, the provider strongly emphasized the risks of not having started prenatals already, including mentioning spina bifida and other serious complications. Given how early I am in the process and the purpose of my visit, this approach felt unnecessarily alarming rather than supportive and educational. Additionally, my experience with the phlebotomist was concerning. She did not provide any warning before inserting the needle and displayed poor bedside manner throughout the process. When I mentioned that I was feeling faint and asked if she was almost finished, I was told that it was a "mindset thing," which felt dismissive and inappropriate given the circumstances. Overall, I left the office feeling upset and in tears. This experience did not meet my expectations for compassionate patient care, especially during what can already be an emotional and vulnerable time. As a result, I do not plan to return to this location. I hope this feedback is taken into consideration to improve the experience for future patients. I want to clarify this is about Suite 220 in the same building it was Dr. Daniel Hu's office and I saw nurse practitioner Erin Baker I couldn't find any other place to leave a review for that office

I wish I could give five stars based on the interactions I had with some staff however I can't. The…read moremoment we walked in the waiting room was full. There were children screaming everywhere and a man there with his wife talking on his phone basically yelling at the person on the other end. We got lucky to find a place to sit when a family got called back. It just wasn't a good environment especially when you're stressed about your pregnancy and there for the first time to help get answers. I just wish the front office staff would have stepped in and asked the man on the phone to take it outside and for the grandma with the toddler who was screaming for 20 minutes to go out as well because obviously these people don't have common sense. However, what kept this from getting no stars was the ultrasound tech Rene and Dr. Strong. I could tell right away on the ultrasound that there was no heartbeat and that our baby was gone. Rene was very kind and allowed us to sit in the room while she went to find Dr. Strong. She came back a few minutes later and said she wouldn't make us wait in the waiting room for the doctor and instead found an unused room for us to sit in so we could grieve in private. Her demeanor and kindness was much appreciated. Dr. Strong had a good demeanor as well and he really took his time. There was nothing he could do of course but he discussed what our options were and answered our questions. He said he would try to call my referring OB before they closed (in 5 minutes) so that they could manage my miscarriage and he lead us out a separate exit so that we didn't have to walk back through the main (chaotic) waiting room. My referring OB called me right away this morning to get me in so I appreciate how quick this office was with sending the reports over.

In our experience, the communication was unprofessional and unnecessarily alarming. We felt information was presented in a way that created fear and pressure for more tests and labs, instead of giving clear, balanced guidance. Thankfully our first baby was healthy, but we experienced the same pattern again during the second pregnancy. Pregnancy is already emotional and stressful. Patients deserve compassion, respect, and honest communication -- not to feel like they are being treated as an invoice. We are seriously considering filing a formal complaint with the medical board.

Turns out he never even put in the paperwork for it to get started, man clearly doesn't care about his patients or his job. This was my second natural, unmedicated home birth, and the first baby who did need some assistancMorgann was calm and collected through it all, and because my baby's heartrate stayed steady she allowed me to labor at my own pace, and only intervened when I asked for help. Through the course of my pregnancy Morgann and her assistants listened, gave great recommendations and made my little family feel welcome. Her office is beautifully set up for children to play quietly while we go through our appointment, she has snacks available for the mamas who need it, and it feels just professional enough while being cozy and welcoming.

I…read moreknew within minutes of chatting with Morgann (I was only 8 weeks pregnant at the time!) that she was the right midwife for us! She is caring, strong, so well informed, a perfect blend of hands-off physiological support with modern medicine, and she's wonderfully fun and wholesome. We had the privilege of working with Deidra as well and I adored her sweet and caring nature. I always looked forward to seeing them both and I'll miss seeing them regularly now! Morgann and Deidra have been such an incredible foundation to our birth team and we couldn't ask for better midwives to help us bring our first baby into this world. We felt so loved, supported, informed, and empowered throughout our experience to make the best choices pre and postnatal for myself, our family, and our sweet baby girl. In the midst of a very long, first labor Morgann gave me some of the best motherhood insight I think I'll ever receive-- she encouraged introspective thinking and gently guided me in knowing and trusting in my own "mother's intuition" vs personal anxiety/fear. This insight helped me make a tough choice to choose an intervention I hadn't wanted initially (breaking my waters), but ultimately was the right choice for me and my daughter, Ruby to finally progress our labor and deliver her despite my own anxiety over how it may intensify labor which already felt overwhelming. Our conversation around this was quiet, loving, gentle, compassionate and had zero pressure. It still brings me to tears to think about and I'll cherish it forever! Morgann is not just a medical support, she has celebrated in our joy, she has been a shoulder to cry on (in labor and in postpartum as my husband struggled with life threatening medical issues), she's given clarity, choice and informed consent, and she's no-nonsense direct when it's needed (like when our baby decided at 39 weeks to be breech for a bit!). So invaluable! Thank you, to both Morgann and Deidra for your love and support. Our family is so blessed to know you. I feel tremendously happy for every family in the future who will be supported by you and God willing, we'll see you again soon for baby #2!
