This was my second natural, unmedicated home birth, and the first baby who did need some assistancMorgann was calm and collected through it all, and because my baby's heartrate stayed steady she allowed me to labor at my own pace, and only intervened when I asked for help. Through the course of my pregnancy Morgann and her assistants listened, gave great recommendations and made my little family feel welcome. Her office is beautifully set up for children to play quietly while we go through our appointment, she has snacks available for the mamas who need it, and it feels just professional enough while being cozy and welcoming.

I…read moreknew within minutes of chatting with Morgann (I was only 8 weeks pregnant at the time!) that she was the right midwife for us! She is caring, strong, so well informed, a perfect blend of hands-off physiological support with modern medicine, and she's wonderfully fun and wholesome. We had the privilege of working with Deidra as well and I adored her sweet and caring nature. I always looked forward to seeing them both and I'll miss seeing them regularly now! Morgann and Deidra have been such an incredible foundation to our birth team and we couldn't ask for better midwives to help us bring our first baby into this world. We felt so loved, supported, informed, and empowered throughout our experience to make the best choices pre and postnatal for myself, our family, and our sweet baby girl. In the midst of a very long, first labor Morgann gave me some of the best motherhood insight I think I'll ever receive-- she encouraged introspective thinking and gently guided me in knowing and trusting in my own "mother's intuition" vs personal anxiety/fear. This insight helped me make a tough choice to choose an intervention I hadn't wanted initially (breaking my waters), but ultimately was the right choice for me and my daughter, Ruby to finally progress our labor and deliver her despite my own anxiety over how it may intensify labor which already felt overwhelming. Our conversation around this was quiet, loving, gentle, compassionate and had zero pressure. It still brings me to tears to think about and I'll cherish it forever! Morgann is not just a medical support, she has celebrated in our joy, she has been a shoulder to cry on (in labor and in postpartum as my husband struggled with life threatening medical issues), she's given clarity, choice and informed consent, and she's no-nonsense direct when it's needed (like when our baby decided at 39 weeks to be breech for a bit!). So invaluable! Thank you, to both Morgann and Deidra for your love and support. Our family is so blessed to know you. I feel tremendously happy for every family in the future who will be supported by you and God willing, we'll see you again soon for baby #2!

I felt like she actually cared and listened to my financial situation, my concerns about where I would be living and where I could get affordable health care. They even booked me for a free ultrasound at 8 weeks because I found out I was pregnant at 4 weeks so I had some time to digest what was going on. They allowed my husband and my mom to be in the ultrasound room and the tech was super helpful and even helped to send off a prescription for my nausea so it was one less doctors appt for me. I'm taking the parenting classes here in person since it's close to home and my husband takes his online so we can earn points to shop for various baby items. I'm happy to say that I've been able to collect diapers, a bassinet, a cart cover, a crib, and a rocking chair all at no cost to me, just redeemed with my class points. I've recommended this place to 3 friends already who've all had various situations and enjoyed the service here.

When I was eventually assisted, the interaction felt unfriendly and unwelcoming, which was disappointing as this was my first time visiting the office. I was not seen until approximately 15 minutes after my scheduled appointment time on top of getting there 15 mins early. The first staff member I encountered during my walk to the room my visit was very kind and welcoming, which I appreciated. The provider I was scheduled with was professional and direct; However, I was concerned by the way information regarding prenatal care was communicated. I had only found out that I was pregnant two days prior to this appointment, and my intention for the visit was to confirm the pregnancy and receive guidance on next steps, including when to begin prenatal vitamins. During the discussion, the provider strongly emphasized the risks of not having started prenatals already, including mentioning spina bifida and other serious complications. Given how early I am in the process and the purpose of my visit, this approach felt unnecessarily alarming rather than supportive and educational. Additionally, my experience with the phlebotomist was concerning. She did not provide any warning before inserting the needle and displayed poor bedside manner throughout the process. When I mentioned that I was feeling faint and asked if she was almost finished, I was told that it was a "mindset thing," which felt dismissive and inappropriate given the circumstances. Overall, I left the office feeling upset and in tears. This experience did not meet my expectations for compassionate patient care, especially during what can already be an emotional and vulnerable time. As a result, I do not plan to return to this location. I hope this feedback is taken into consideration to improve the experience for future patients. I've…read moreactually waited a couple of years to write this review so I could do it without emotion. So, if it seems a little coldly written considering the words, well, I waited so it didn't sound blubbering. I was recommended to AZ Perinatal Care because I was pregnant with twins and therefore high risk. Did you know that ultrasounds aren't supposed to be painful? I had no idea! That is until I left this place and went to a real doctor's office! The ultrasound tech at AZ Perinatal Care was so rough and pushed on my stomach so hard that it caused pain. Sad thing is...that wasn't the problem with this place. After my first visit, I saw my regular OB again and mentioned the stoic, quiet, odd bedside manner of Dr. Pedron. He laughed and said, yea, he's a little different, isn't he....again, this is not the problem. On my third visit, he comes in and looks at the ultrasounds and then simply turns to me and matter of fact says, "Baby B isn't going to make it. She is too small. We need to discuss options to terminate baby B for the health of Baby A." Uh, I'm sorry, what did you just blah, blah, blah, at me in no uncertain terms. Not, "we might want to consider, or their is a possibility, just simply that she isn't going to make it. I pointed out that she was still growing and was larger than last time and that her heart was beating strong. I mean, if the fetus is doing her part to grow and live, why would we decide to destroy her because her brother is bigger than her? He held his position, so I left. I called my husband blubbering across the parking lot telling him to find me another doctor. By the way, the new doctor he found was AMAZING! I hope that women who visit this man are strong enough to make their own decisions and not just listen to him because he is a doctor. He knew not what he was talking about. Beyond that, telling a pregnant woman something like that so coldly and as if it was a fact could cause a person to be so distraught that it would be damaging to the pregnancy. Both my twins were born healthy, and are happy, wonderful people...who both always show up in the 99% for size at every doctor visit. I hate to think that people follow his advise. There's no reason my beautiful daughter didn't have a chance to make it into this world...but if I had listened to him she wouldn't be here. That makes Dr. Pedron the worst choice.

I was offered a video visit but declined since I had already made an appointment. A little while later I got a call from someone I thought was a triage nurse but was actually the nurse practioner. So I didn't state all the symptoms and saved some for the nurse practioner visit the next day. Later I got a call from the office staff asking if I wanted to keep the appointment tomorrow since I had a video visit. I informed her that I was not aware that it was a video visit since I had already declined the video visit earlier and kept the appointment. She seemed surprised. I called back later and canceled the appointment. Someone had also called about my labs which I know have multi abnormal values and I declined reviewing them stating I was seeing someone in person tomorrow and she can go over them then. So, I guess I won't know what to do about the abnormal lab results as well. Needless to say I wont be returning due to the bumbling staff and the risk of things going sour the next time I attempt to see a nurse practioner. Disappointing since I planned on continuing to go there but now I won't be returning which probably don't really matter to them.

He made sure she knew just what the next steps were going to be and we were very well informed of complications that she may experience. He has an art form to surgery. and even now she has complications, NOT BECAUSE OF SURGERY, but because of other reasons I will not put in writing... he has made sure he is available to her, sets up regular appointments to make sure she is doing ok and that nothing goes unnoticed.
