I am writing to share feedback regarding my recent visit. Upon arriving, I was not acknowledged by staff and felt ignored for several minutes. When I was eventually assisted, the interaction felt unfriendly and unwelcoming, which was disappointing as this was my first time visiting the office. I was not seen until approximately 15 minutes after my scheduled appointment time on top of getting there 15 mins early. The first staff member I encountered during my walk to the room my visit was very kind and welcoming, which I appreciated. The provider I was scheduled with was professional and direct; However, I was concerned by the way information regarding prenatal care was communicated. I had only found out that I was pregnant two days prior to this appointment, and my intention for the visit was to confirm the pregnancy and receive guidance on next steps, including when to begin prenatal vitamins. During the discussion, the provider strongly emphasized the risks of not having started prenatals already, including mentioning spina bifida and other serious complications. Given how early I am in the process and the purpose of my visit, this approach felt unnecessarily alarming rather than supportive and educational. Additionally, my experience with the phlebotomist was concerning. She did not provide any warning before inserting the needle and displayed poor bedside manner throughout the process. When I mentioned that I was feeling faint and asked if she was almost finished, I was told that it was a "mindset thing," which felt dismissive and inappropriate given the circumstances. Overall, I left the office feeling upset and in tears. This experience did not meet my expectations for compassionate patient care, especially during what can already be an emotional and vulnerable time. As a result, I do not plan to return to this location. I hope this feedback is taken into consideration to improve the experience for future patients. I am a high risk pregnancy with twins, I was also told by my high risk doctor that I have a complete placenta previa Dr. Austin never told me I had this issue, and when I mentioned it to her she got really defensive and was very dismissive with all of my concerns. read more

Avoid at all cost! I'm a creature of habit so instead of finding a new primary care doctor I chose to go back to my OBGYNO. Bad idea... Called in the week prior for appointment. Was scheduled Monday morning at 845am. Arrived 15minutes early only to be told I'm not on the schedule. I was then pushed to a later appointment only to wait over an hour and never see the doctor. Unfortunately Folkestads office has never been one for time management. I experienced this first hand with my first daughter followed by my second daughter. Everyone is overworked, sassy and they're just trying to get thru the day. The phone rings off the hook and each caller is put on hold. I know because when I called for my appointment I waited over 7mins on hold and then was hung up on. Called back to wait another 5mins and then was connected. It's pure chaos. I would not recommend going here. read more

I must start by saying I looove Dr Folkstad I have been going to him for over 15 years and he delivered all four of my children including a set of identical twin boys 19months ago ,my mother even went to him... If I can just by pass the front and walk right in to see DR. Folkstad that would be awesome!! BUT!The office manager and the front desk staff!!! Omg they are completely unprofessional and disgusting humans I have so many stories it's a shame .. I called in a few times with a birth control concern few months ago and kept getting bounced around .. I took a chance of seeing Leanna after being told she is the one who assist Dr Folkstad with birth control stuff I said fine.. I was and STILL am having complications with the birth control and kept calling in just to b told they will give the message to her (Leanna )MA ...I got no call back from the MA.. so I called back a day later insisting to speak to Leanna and they kept forcing me to leave a message with the MA .. keep in mind Leanna has spoke to me over the phone about prior situations multiple times so I just could not understand what the issue was.. long story short , I called one last time and after getting an attitude from the girl at the front desk she hung up the phone.. well at least she THOUGHT she did .. I heard EVERYTHING!! They were all sitting laughing and talking about me saying things like "she said this and she said that" and LEANNNNNNAAAAA was like what did she say ? And started laughing and said "omg I guess I am going to have to call her "as if I was a burden .. then she continue to talk about the reason I was calling in and all I have to do is this and that ...in my mind I am like is this not a violation to be discussing my medical information with the front desk staff that has no direct care to me ?? I WAS DEVASTATED! I could not believe they sat and spoke about me the way they did passing my information and Medical issues around like wow wow wow !! Fast forward when I finally got to speak to KRISTY the office manager she apologized in the beginning but then ended up getting snotty in the end and telling me maybe I should find somewhere else to go!! I was even more taken back like WHAT!!!!!!!? I can't believe these people are so nasty ..the crazy part about it all I have it alllll recorded for my records .. I love DR Folkstad but he has to do something fast about his staff because it's going to cost him big time! read more

Writing this review as a second time pregnancy patient at this office and have been coming here since I was 14 (10 years) for birth control etc. Dr. Folkestad himself is great. he delivered both of my brothers from my mother. and he delivered my first baby. the front office ladies are absolutely horrific. My husband deals with checking me in etc because they are rude, unhelpful and extremely combative. If you're late to your appointment you better not even try and show up! they'll send you away with your time wasted. however get there early and you'll be sure to wait at least 30 minutes on them to get you back into a room. There was a miscommunication about my appointment time and the receptionist was not willing to help what so ever and had me reschedule. I live 30 mins from the office and took time off work for my appointment. it's the lack of compassion and care for patients. it's lack of understanding that there are miscommunications there are times where something occurs and we are late just like they are late bringing us back into a room. I seriously cannot believe some of these ladies work with pregnant women they are so disrespectful and rude to those carrying a life inside of them. I will unfortunately be finding a new OB. Shadiest place ever. You can't imagine the things done in this office. I would never step foot back into this office. From being a patient or an employee !!!! If you want a C-section go ahead and go. He gets patients so excited about getting induced then pumps you full of pitocin and forced to have a C-section. I don't even know how this is legal! Also he makes more money off c sections so why not huh? There is no Privacy practiced in this office. There also is no sanitary guidelines. It looks clean but you don't even want to know what happens there behind closed doors. He's also went home and forgot to see patients in the exam room.... Beware please I can't repeat this enough. This office is a joke. My daughter was in over a month ago to get an evaluation for birth control. She keeps getting put off and told that they have not gotten it in yet. I have called for her a few other times with no issues. I called yesterday to find out what was going on and why there was such a hold-up. I was told that a message with the medical assistants would be left and that CVS is the one who fills the medication. I called CVS specialty pharmacy to find out what is going on with their end and they told me that they don't even have a script that was sent over from the dr for her. so they can't even fill the med till the dr sends over the script. This means they have had over a month to do something and your office has not done anything. I called back yesterday and left a voice mail for a manager to call me back and neither the office manager nor the medical assistant made any attempt to call back. My daughter didn't even get a callback. I called today and now that they know that I know they dropped the ball they refuse to speak to me because they say now it's a problem because my daughter doesn't have me on her contact list. When asked for the manager the lady by the name of Christi did answer this time and refused to speak to me and when asked about the situation and they're not sending the script over and what they are going to do about it she says she won't give me information. I asked again what they were going to do to fix the situation and the lady hung up on me. So needless to say they don't seem to care about doing anything once they are called out on their mistakes to take care of the patient. The practice needs to look into hiring new medical assistants that will follow up properly with these things with the patient as my daughter has not gotten one single phone call on the status of her med. New office managers are suggested as well because hanging up on a mother to check on a daughter's med is absurd. I pray that you don't have issue with your kids when you have to call for them to check on things like this. Speaking to the medical assistant today after now getting my daughter on the phone and she says she has to many to follow up on them and she didn't know that the order didn't go through till yesterday. I asked why my daughter was not called to let her know that this was not taken care of and that the situation had been fixed now and that she confirmed with them that they received it and she said she again has too many to follow up on them to call. Sounds like this is a known issue and taking extra time for patient care is not something that this office is able to do. Why does it take for us to get angry and call several times for over a month for something to finally be done. This is so ridiculous. read more

I specifically went to this doctor because he told me he'd be able to support my goal to have a vaginal birth with twins. Fast forward to 35 weeks along, "liability" and "the holiday schedule" became primary factors for delivering babies early by a surgery I didn't want and felt in my gut wasn't appropriate; I was backed into a corner. My babies ended up in the NICU and struggled due to immature lungs. The doctors at Phoenix Children's said they still couldn't understand why the children were delivered early. My feelings were brushed aside. My instincts were ignored. And I'll tell you from experience, the birthing ward is extremely quiet during the week of Christmas. I suppose the important thing is that the staff got to spend more time with their families? If you love C-sections and scheduled births, step right up, you've come to the right place. Otherwise, be prepared to have this extremely sincere-seeming physician (Folkestad) who works under his own schedule. read more

Been coming here for years and every time I make an appointment, I am stuck in the waiting room for long after my appointment time. Why are there appointments available at 9:45 if I can't be seen until 10:50? Unprofessional and inconsiderate to people who have other engagements if appointment times cannot be followed. read more

I truly love Dr folkestad he is the best obgyn ever hands down, I have been with him for 16 years 3 pregnancies. People complain about the wait but to be honest I would rather Know I have this Dr who will listen to my every question and concern and actually anwser me with caring and honest answers versus someone who rushes you. He is amazing and I have recommended a lot of friends and family to him. He is definitely on top of making sure your pregnancy goes as safe and smooth as possible. His Ma Doreen rocks and is very nice also and very knowledgeable. I definitely recommend if you want a Dr who will make you feel like family this is your Dr. Dr. Folkestad keep up the great job. Ladies at the front desk your doing a great job also and both ultrasound Tech's you are both amazing. read more

Some of the staff is great but I will say that my experience with the insurance woman there was sad. She got my name on my insurance application wrong and told me she would update my application if I emailed her the information needed. Well 2 weeks later and 2 rejection letters later I called her and asked her what was going on and she tells me "I can't update your application without signatures".... why wouldn't she email me Back or have told me that? Anyway, Dr. Sha was pretty much useless. He confirmed my pregnancy and that was it. Didn't give any information or "dos and donts". Every appointment felt rushed and like he didn't take me seriously. I got more information at a free clinic than at his office! Honestly very very unfortunate that these People are employed in the health industry. read more

Dr. Folkestad is the most amazing caring doctor I have ever had! He goes out of hospital way to make sure you are comfortable and calm! He has delivered all of my babies, 3 live births one stillborn. In our darkness hour he was there for my husband and myself and made sure everything was taken care of. He put up with my neurotic worrying with our pregnancy following our stillborn and listen and acknowledged every one of my concerns, and then eased them! He even puts up with me wanting unmedicated vaginal birth even though I scream like a banshee! read more

If I could give this place a 0 star I absolutely would. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I went here, I have been misdiagnosed... today was the final straw. I had a miscarriage and was treated poorly by the workers. When I called early in the morning to schedule an appointment they were super nice over the phone and told me to come in to take a pregnancy test and blood work. Their only concern was that my previous dr. recently moved to a different location. However they told me that I can still test and get bloodwork with another doctor today. As I walked in, they questioned me asking what I wanted in an extremely negative way... I explained to them my situation and told them that I spoke with them over the phone earlier. They looked at me as though I was speaking a different language and then directed me to the bloodwork room where the worker met me and immediately turned me away... she claimed that I was no longer a patient and I ensured her that that can't be true given the fact that I was just there LAST MONTH! She turned me away anyway saying that it didn't even matter and told me that I can take a urine test instead and place the sample in the metal box... I went in already know about the miscarriage and took one anyway (cried in the bathroom) and attempted to place the sample in the box realizing that it was locked! I had to search the entire place for an employee to unlock the box. I was embarrassed and emotional obviously... after the test I waited in the waiting room because no one was there to guide me.. my husband comforted me in the waiting room because honestly, I couldn't stop crying. They called me back and told me the obvious.. I'm not pregnant. They proceeded to send me away telling me to come back when "I actually am pregnant". In short, don't come here unless you want to have the worst day of your life. read more

this is my first pregnancy and i didn't know what was going on i kept mentioning my concerns about bleeding but they told me it was normal then they said it could be a sign of miscarriage and when i called the 24 hour number cause i was bleeding to much at work i was told it was normal again i have been bleeding for almost a month now and i go to the er and they make me wait 3-4 hours just for other people that came after me to get their results and get talked too by a doctor and i told them i've been getting really bad blood clots they showed no concern what so ever and they didn't help me understand anything they sat there and asked me if im miscarrying like im the doctor the most horrible experience ever they don't help you understand anything they tell you one thing just for them to switch up and tell you something else and that er is even worse because they don't do nothing other then keep u waiting for hours and when i was told to go to the er so i can see dr.folkstead he never came i was given an ultrasound sound and told the fetus looked a little small and then when i was kept waiting for 3 hours no one checking up on me i told them i wanted to leave because they are showing no concern and telling people that came in after they are good to go and nothing is wrong with them i didn't get no results or nothing till i told them i was done and i was wanting to leave because i wasn't able to eat or drink when i had specified i hadn't ate all day due to my concerns and not having an appetite . worst obgyn office ever. read more

On their actual site, I gave Dr. Folkstead 5 stars because he truly deserves it. The most caring OBGYN I have ever had the pleasure of delivering my high risk pregnancy. I give zero stars to Maria in billing and the Office Manager lady or whatever her title is. I didn't know my job at the time gave me a standard primary insurance. I had AHCCCS at the time so I didn't apply for work insurance as it was too expensive. Maria told me to call AHCCCS and get information for the primary. I did. I called the primary and got the billing information from one of their representatives. I called Maria back the same day, literally 30 minutes after speaking with her the first time. I gave her said billing information. She thanked me. I moved on. Then, I kept receiving bills for that doctor appointment I had on 2/8/18. I figured it was bills that were automatically generated. Until today, that is. I got another bill and called Maria in billing. She used a condescending tone, was rude, spoke over me, insulted me for having an emergency contact on my face sheet as well as the father of my child's number, and for having two contact numbers for myself (home and cell). She said, "We aren't going to call all those numbers just to get a hold of you." Um...yes you are. Hence why it is in my chart. She and her boss called me a liar without using those words when I insisted I gave them the billing information requested that same day almost a year ago. I also record incoming and outgoing phone calls, and saved these recordings for situations like these. I called the primary insurance back to ask for assistance in the matter since both Maria and her boss refused to run the payment from that primary insurance. The representative from that primary insurance company informed me that my appointment with the doctor was 2/8/18 and the billing office for my doctor has a year to file. Literally four days before the filing cut off date and they are refusing to file. Finally, someone else answered the phone in this billing office (Thank Goodness) and she was actually nice and helpful. She got my primary insurance information for the second time and said she would bill it. That phone call was also recorded. I will call them on 2/5/19 to make sure they filed it accordingly. If Maria or her boss/Office Manager try to screw me on this, I will provide my attorney with all of the recordings. I keep "papertrail" too! Maria and her boss/office manager are the absolute worst! Hire new folks who stay on top of billing, who have amazing customer service skills, and do not try to screw people over! read more

To say I am disappointed with the way the office manager (Marley, Marlene, Marvey-couldn't remember her name after she insulted me) treats patients is an understatement. I went in for an appointment in January 2018. After waiting a crazy amount of time (no surprise there), one of the PA's came in to see me. About 30 seconds in to our appointment, she was notified of an emergency in the hospital and had to leave. I completely understood as I have had an emergency c-section. What I didn't understand is why I was charged for the appointment. As I was leaving, I asked for a new appointment and they said they would be calling me after the got more info from the PA. The PA updated my chart 5.5 hours after my visit with what she 'thought' to be the issue. I was never given the opportunity to sit down and discuss the issues. I was most certainly not given a full 30 minute appointment which is what they billed me for. It has taken nearly 2 months of calling and voicemails to get the office manager to call me back. After talking to this pleasant woman today, I realized just how terribly managed this office is. She was the most unprofessional person I have ever held a discussion with. She insulted me and accused me of just trying to avoid a bill (which made me laugh-medical bills are never an issue in my home), she refused to give me an opportunity to speak to her and insisted on cutting me off, and she even encouraged me to go write reviews about her since I had all the free time. She claims the office has a right to bill for appointments regardless of how little time the dr spends. She also threatened to send my bill to collections should I refuse to pay the balance. She clearly has no idea how to handle herself in a professional manner and strives to give this office an even worse reputation. Unfortunately, this is not the first time my insurance has heard about this office and their shady practices. I have filed a grievance and will be followed up with. I absolutely love Dr Austin. I was referred to her by a couple of people when I found out I was pregnant and I have been seeing her ever since. She and her medical staff are always very patient and informative when you have questions. The lab tech that does blood draws is quick and as painless as possible which is important to me seeing as though I'm a total wuss. The ultrasound techs are always very friendly and skilled. Overall, I am very pleased with the medical care I have received throughout my pregnancy. Unfortunately, I have had a couple of issues with this office. The front desk lady (unsure of her name, she has short hair and glasses) is very blunt and rude and has no sense of providing satisfactory customer service. She is a negative mark on every visit. God forbid if you have a question while you're waiting. Another issue is how busy this office is, which is not surprising given their popularity and location. They are also attached to Arrowhead Hospital, so if the doctors get called away to deliver a baby you may be waiting a while. Needless to say, I love this OB/GYN and will be returning for any future medical care and pregnancies. read more

Samantha is fantastic! I started coming to Arrowhead after needing my first well woman exam. I was very nervous, and she was very kind and understanding, making sure I was as comfortable as possible. Paperwork is long, they seen me later than expected, parking was bad, receptionist are burned out and rude on the phone. To top it off my prescription was sent I. With wrong name and date of birth....After forgiving this, I called to verify my yearly pap and I missed it thinking it was today do to incorrect vm they sent. And they took zero responsibility, ill never go back. The lady said well its the patients responsibility to keep track of there appt in a RUDE way! I am having anxiety, will NEVER go back again!!!! I absolutely love love love this office they have the best staff I always hear people talk about rude which I have never had this experience at all they're all so very friendly, all the girls up in the front are completely great and any time I've ever felt the need to come in they've even got me in the same day for a appointment ! Dr Folkstead is the BEST he makes you feel so comfortable and answers any questions that you have. This office is so comforting and clean I definitely recommend it, I've never had dr Austin so I don't know much about her but I've seen her a few times and she's always super friendly. I recommend Dr Folkstead he's been doing it for so many years and delivered all 5 of my moms babies including me and is now delivering mine so he's been a dr for years in my family and we've all had great experiences with him. Overbooked and the staff is horrible , not the doctor not the medical assistant the office staff ! Put on hold for over 15 minutes ! The intake ladies look so miserable being their they want the doctor to pay them an extra .50 cents an hour to smile. I've been going there for a couple years and they still can't get my name right , even worst since I'm expecting and I'm there a lot ! I have been a patient of Dr. Folkestad for 21 years. My mother, sister, and several friends are also patients of his. So please know that this 2 star rating doesn't pertain to him. Over the last 1.5 I have seen this office go down hill. 1. My favorite PA, Sam, left. 2. The woman who answers the phone doesn't even have the basic skills needed to work in an office. Customer Service - Can't answer basic questions Telephone Etiquette - Short answered and rude Professionalism - Poor knowledge of the office, like the how, who, and when Communication Skills - Incomplete or inaccurate information 3. Outdated processes and software! They forgot to have me sign a form at my appointment. I requested they email it to me or if I could e-sign it. Nope, not even a scanner to upload it. So I had to drive back the next day. 4. Their fax number is incorrect. My pharmacy faxed a request over half a dozen times with no response. I called and they said the fax number available to the public was outdated. Then correct it! 5. I can never speak with Dr. Folkestad's scheduler/assistant because she's so busy. The front desk lets me know they will notify her, but I had to call 3 days in a row last time. 6. You will wait no less than an hour past your appointment time before you're called back only to wait another 30-60 minutes. Please consider if you're willing to put up with poor office management before coming here. read more

Best ob I've ever had! I've had 3 obs with all of my children and this is the best! Dr folkstead really cares about his patients

If you are currently pregnant, Dr. Folkestad is amazing. The wait is as expected for any office. He talks really fast, but he answers any questions you have and doesn't rush you through the appointment. He's caring and kind and I believe tries to excel for patient care. Now, if you have suffered a loss, there is something very, very broken in the system here. His MA doesn't call back when you have concerns. I had a very traumatic loss and even saw Dr. Folkestad while at the hospital. I called his MA 2 days before and she didn't follow up for 10 days and at that point I had already lost the baby. For every follow up appointment after, I had to explain over and over to each person that I saw, I was no longer pregnant. They sent FMLA paperwork to my work, like I was still pregnant and a referral to a specialist the same way. I don't know where the disconnect is, but losing your son after 16 weeks of carrying him is hard enough. But having to explain it over and over and over again to the office staff and even the doctor on one occasion, is heartbreaking. This office will deliver you a beautiful baby and make you feel amazing while pregnant, but if you've ever suffered a loss or are high risk, this is not the doctor office for you. read more

If you are looking for an amazing OB/office, look NO further. I'm nearing the end of my first pregnancy and I have been nothing but grateful for the care I have received at this obgyn. I have Dr. Austin and she is wonderful. She truly takes the time to answer any questions-and makes me feel very comfortable. They do not rush you. The medical assistants are extremely sweet and hard workers. The ultrasound techs do not rush you and provide lots of images. They even do a complimentary 3D/4D scan. The office staff are very nice and easy to communicate with. I have had to reschedule and have had no issues. The wait is at most 30 minutes (and that was because my OB had to deliver a baby next door). I travel from Buckeye just to see them and will continue to do so with all my future babies! read more

I have been going to this office for about 5 years now. I have also been through 2 pregnancies (one was a missed miscarriage) and am currently on my third pregnancy with the office. I have read some of the other reviews and want to just mention the claims about time/waiting/etc...The doctors not only come to see their regular patients, but they are in surgeries and deliveries as needed next door at the hospital. While I completely understand that making an appointment time is very important, especially if you are missing work, but I have to say you also need to be understanding of why these appointment times are sometimes unpredictable. The office is always clean, results come in from tests in a timely manner, bills have always been accurate for me, and the staff is always helpful. The staff may not always be smiles, but they work hard and get things done. I have had to re-fill out paperwork multiple times, but that should be expected when it has been a year between appointments with any doctor. I normally see Dr. Austin, and even though she's got to be tired and always busy, she is friendly and answers my questions. My daughter was delivered by Dr. Folkstead a year ago and he was very friendly and professional as well. I would recommend this office for anyone looking for a good OBGYN, but make sure you allot yourself some extra time just in case you aren't seen at your exact appointment time (which is likely to happen). read more

You did not do your job today. When I went into for my yearly, it was also to discuss the results of recent blood work by my primary Doctor. Who referred me to my gyno due to hormone levels in high menopausal range. The appointment started with me being advised you usually have Monday's off. Huh, well I had to leave my job for two hours to come to this appointment. When I advised of the blood work and requested to discuss the annoyed response of, not sure why your doctor didn't review with you was not a great way to start an uncomfortable discussion. You went on to state I'm 38 and too young for menopause, really - I hadn't considered that?! There was no dialogue around my symptoms or how I was feeling, which by the way include chronic hot flashes, unstable periods, and so on. The response I received was until I go a full 12 months with no period I am not in menopause. You did not do your job today when you made me feel like an annoyance on your normal day off. When you did not seem interested in being a care physician or discuss how I can manage the symptoms of early on-set menopause. You did not do your job when you left a patient who has gone to this office over 20 years in tears because I the response I received of my recent troubles fell on deaf ears. Hoping in your future appointments you realize as a doctor people come to you for comfort and support. Give them an opportunity to discuss their health concerns. And basically, do the job you are being paid large bucks for. read more

Dr Austin was my OB during my 3rd pregnancy. I communicated my desire for an Unmedicated birth. Throughout the prenatal care, she seemed very supportive. Until my due date. She was absolutely horrendous, forceful and beyond disrespectful. I had NO complications, no risks and has a perfectly healthy pregnancy. During my labor she frequently discouraged my rate of dilation, forcefully checked my cervix to the point of me screaming And begging her to stop. She never stopped. I literally felt like I was being abused. My husband recorded it on our camera not knowing he would capture the abuse and disrespect. She rushed my labor, administered medication without my consent and spoke to me like absolute garbage. It was absolutely horrific. Arrowhead hospital was a nightmare as well. A few weeks after my delivery, I contacted her office and was transferred to her office manager. I communicated my experience and explained how heartbroken and utterly damaged I was from the experience - to which she responded "dr Austin owns this practice and she can do whatever she wants. She has no boss so your complaint isn't going to go anywhere". What kind of response is THAT?? I filed a grievance with the hospital but they said the same thing. I wrote Doctor Austin a letter to explain my experience and let her know how upset, hurt and disappointed I was. Absolutely no response at all. On top of all these issues, I am a cash paying client. They quoted me $2300 for Doctor and $4,000 for hospital including everything except epidural if I chose to get one. 8 months down the road and I am $14,000 in debt in medical bills from a delivery with no complications. The hospital or Dr Austin don't even have the decency to try to make the situation better whatsoever. I would NEVER step foot in this office if you are looking for a healthcare provider. She is an absolutely horrendous Doctor who pushes medication and has her own agenda. Her staff doesn't care about any of the patients and they are CROOKS!! read more

Wait was way to long 2 HOURS for a 8 minutes chat with the doc. When he entered my room he didn't even review my records and some pages were missing with lab results that were faxed to them and doc was very nonchalant about my 2 hour wait. I've worked in a doctors office and it starts with the front end and how they schedule, if they are over lapping patients they need to stop, very inconvenient and a waste of people's time especially if they leave work early for an appointment. read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would. Every time I went in this place my co-pay changed. I asked specifically before I made my initial appointment what my copay was. Every time I went in from there it changed. The billing department, Maria, said the front staff doesn't have knowledge about co-pays and whether they bill regular or specialty. Isn't that something the front desk should know? Having uneducated staff is NO excuse to commit fraud against your clients. Then they treat you like dirt when you want to know why they keep billing different amounts and one lady even told me "we can bill whatever we want." Terrible. You can bill what you want but you should be honest with your clients about it upfront before they use your services- not after. I used to love this office but no more. I do not recommend this place at all unless you want to get scammed. I recommend these doctors get better billing and front desk staff- or at least educate them on customer service and the field which they work in. read more

That's it I've had it with this office! I can't do it anymore! These people don't work. The girls that do the scheduling need to go back to school. I've been here 5 times now, every time I am an hour waiting past my appointment! They just put me in the wrong room. And now I'm not even going to get to see the doctor. They don't respect me or my time. I'm done! I'm telling her what my problem is, and she's writing filling out her paperwork. How can she write and listen to me at the same time! Very dismissive. Just wanted to update my review a little bit. The day I went into labor (3 years ago) after I had been promised by Folkestad for 9 months that he would try his hardest to help me achieve a successful vaginal birth after cesarian. The hospital staff did not even check my cervix (my water broke at home) Before telling me I "had to" have another csection. They literally didn't care if i was dilated to a 1 or a 10.... they wanted to cut me open before they even knew if I would be able to deliver vaginally (which I did!!!!) but no thanks to them. I refused to sign the waiver for a csection and demanded they check me and try for vbac since that is what I was PROMISED. At least TRY. This hospital is horrible and so is the staff. Except for my nurse Erin who literally saved the day and helped me have a vaginal birth even though dr Fucktard was pissed. I hate you Folkestad. You are truly a POS and you should get your license revoked. You're lucky i don't sue you (for reasons I will not say on this board) you disgust me. read more

Office and staff are less than professional and have no respect for your time. I went 2 times and both were nightmares. I was never given option to see another DR or PA for my results. This office seems to only cater to pregnant women. I waited so long that a cleaning guy came in as he was not aware that patients were still there. Than I was asked to reschedule. Go elsewhere!!!!! read more

Clean and friendly office, where the staff seems organized and professional. I would highly recommend this doctor's office!

The PA Samantha Poole is fantastic. I have not see any other DR's there but I can tell you after looking for a great, personable GYN who can answer your questions without rushing out the door then she is the person to request. read more

The one star is for the staff. Year after year I fill out the same stupid forms, I'm talking about 6 to 8 pages. You'd think they'd have you in their files after 5 years of being a patient. My doctor is great, otherwise I'd be happy to be seen somewhere else. read more
