    Our incredible birthing team!
    Shanny T.

My husband and I are eternally grateful to the Tree of Life Midwifery team for making our vision of a natural home birth only a reality, but a dream come true! Che and Audra are INCREDIBLE!!! During every appointment they exercised the highest level of care, patience, and explained everything so thoroughly that the anxiety I felt early in about being pregnant disappeared because they made me feel comfortable but confident in my abilities. Not only that, but every appointment was filled with laughs and I can honestly say they felt like family to us. I highly recommend them to anyone seeking a professional, caring, experienced team!

Tree of life with morgann is the best choice when looking for a midwife. Her office is comfortable and inviting, I couldn't have imagined a better experience for prenatal care as a first time mom. She very thorough, educates and empowers you for your home birth. When it comes time for labor and delivery Morgann and her team are professional kind and their bedside manner is immaculate. I felt so safe under her care and grateful that they allowed me to labor as long as baby and I needed. Post partum care is amazing she comes over and answers any questions. Morgann is an amazing midwife you will not regret working with her, & having her team Che and Star at your birth is like winning the lottery. I'm not sure where they get the energy for this but it's literally a labor of love

We were beyond blessed to be in Morgann's care this last year for our first pregnancy. From the moment we met Morgann we knew she was the perfect fit for us. She is so genuine, warm, kind, down to earth, knowledgeable and still straight forward which with many questions we appreciated. We appreciated how much time she and her team dedicated to us each appointment leaving ample time to get to know us, educate us, and answer the many questions and fears that come up. We had access to her at all times, being able to message her when questions come up before our next appointment or when I was worried about something along the way she was there for me. She always goes above and beyond. We had to leave an appointment a tad early due to unforeseen circumstances and didn't get to do the belly check. She offered to come to our house on the weekend to do this. She truly cares about her clients, she cares about what she does, she doesn't treat you like just a number. Each visit she made us feel like we are her only client, and she has all the time in the world to talk with us. During pregnancy she gave us many recommendations and every person we used from her suggestions were as amazing as she is. She is the gold standard for midwifery care. Morgann and her team truly have a calling for this line of work. It's not just a job to them; it's their passion and that makes all the difference in the care they provide. I started having contractions that were not progressing and Morgann continually checked in on me even making 2 house visits to check on me and baby. She took time out of her busy day to come see me and make sure baby and I were doing okay. On the day he was born I was having a lot of back labor and Morgann came over again to check on me, and with her help and support labor progressed very quickly. During labor she and her team were so supportive. Making sure baby and I were safe at all times. The entire experience felt very safe, they know what they are doing and do an incredible job supporting. She is so warm and caring which you need during labor. From how much time we've spent together she truly knew me. The type of care she gave because of this is unlike anything I've ever experienced. When baby was born, they continued to go above and beyond helping me shower, drying me off, washing sheets and helping with latch which was not easy due to tongue tie we found out later; but they never gave up. Baby had latch issues and Taylor pumped right then and there to give us milk to get through the night. I also loved how they made sure I knew I wasn't doing anything wrong and it wasn't something wrong with me. The emotional care they provide is just as important as the physical care. It's a vey vulnerable time full of emotions and they supported me through it and made sure I didn't feel alone or like something was wrong with me They left after midnight and due to those latch issues Morgann was back 7 AM the next morning before all her appointments to help with latch, she just goes above and beyond and does what's best for mom and baby no matter how hard it is for her. We were so blessed to have this incredible team be a part of our journey, we cannot thank them enough. I cannot recommend them enough; they will absolutely be a part of our next pregnancy as well. We truly couldn't have done it without them. These amazing women are changing lives and the world of pregnancy and delivery.

I do not have the words in my vocabulary to properly describe how eternally grateful I am for Morgann and Deidra. These women helped me to be a better, more confident version of myself. They helped me truly embrace what could be my last pregnancy and enjoy every minute of it. My birth was EVERYTHING I wanted it to be. I caught my own son and pulled him to my chest and let me tell you, I have NEVER felt more powerful in my whole life. The joy that my experience with Morgann and Deidra has brought me has bound me to them forever. My wishes throughout my pregnancy and labor were not only respected, but revered. These women and this experience have not only helped bring me my son, but have changed my life forever. I could not possibly recommend someone more than Morgann from Tree of Life.

Like my husband already mentioned in his Review, our experience with Morgann was so wonderful and I strongly recommend her to any pregnant Mom. She has such a cute comfortable office and always includes your whole family, even has toys for little ones, which is so nice when you can bring your other kids. The time she takes for you each visit is priceless and so valuable. If you want a good, personal and relaxing prenatal, labor& birth and postpartum experience free from hectic, policies, masks, Drs schedules and unneccesary interventions I highly encourage you to reach out to Morgann and Che!! I am beyond thankful that I had the priviledge of having Morgann as my midwife for our precious little girl and will miss her so much, that I almost want one more Baby lol

I felt like she actually cared and listened to my financial situation, my concerns about where I would be living and where I could get affordable health care. They even booked me for a free ultrasound at 8 weeks because I found out I was pregnant at 4 weeks so I had some time to digest what was going on. They allowed my husband and my mom to be in the ultrasound room and the tech was super helpful and even helped to send off a prescription for my nausea so it was one less doctors appt for me. I'm taking the parenting classes here in person since it's close to home and my husband takes his online so we can earn points to shop for various baby items. I'm happy to say that I've been able to collect diapers, a bassinet, a cart cover, a crib, and a rocking chair all at no cost to me, just redeemed with my class points. I've recommended this place to 3 friends already who've all had various situations and enjoyed the service here.

When I was eventually assisted, the interaction felt unfriendly and unwelcoming, which was disappointing as this was my first time visiting the office. I was not seen until approximately 15 minutes after my scheduled appointment time on top of getting there 15 mins early. The first staff member I encountered during my walk to the room my visit was very kind and welcoming, which I appreciated. The provider I was scheduled with was professional and direct; However, I was concerned by the way information regarding prenatal care was communicated. I had only found out that I was pregnant two days prior to this appointment, and my intention for the visit was to confirm the pregnancy and receive guidance on next steps, including when to begin prenatal vitamins. During the discussion, the provider strongly emphasized the risks of not having started prenatals already, including mentioning spina bifida and other serious complications. Given how early I am in the process and the purpose of my visit, this approach felt unnecessarily alarming rather than supportive and educational. Additionally, my experience with the phlebotomist was concerning. She did not provide any warning before inserting the needle and displayed poor bedside manner throughout the process. When I mentioned that I was feeling faint and asked if she was almost finished, I was told that it was a "mindset thing," which felt dismissive and inappropriate given the circumstances. Overall, I left the office feeling upset and in tears. This experience did not meet my expectations for compassionate patient care, especially during what can already be an emotional and vulnerable time. As a result, I do not plan to return to this location. I hope this feedback is taken into consideration to improve the experience for future patients. I've…read moreactually waited a couple of years to write this review so I could do it without emotion. So, if it seems a little coldly written considering the words, well, I waited so it didn't sound blubbering. I was recommended to AZ Perinatal Care because I was pregnant with twins and therefore high risk. Did you know that ultrasounds aren't supposed to be painful? I had no idea! That is until I left this place and went to a real doctor's office! The ultrasound tech at AZ Perinatal Care was so rough and pushed on my stomach so hard that it caused pain. Sad thing is...that wasn't the problem with this place. After my first visit, I saw my regular OB again and mentioned the stoic, quiet, odd bedside manner of Dr. Pedron. He laughed and said, yea, he's a little different, isn't he....again, this is not the problem. On my third visit, he comes in and looks at the ultrasounds and then simply turns to me and matter of fact says, "Baby B isn't going to make it. She is too small. We need to discuss options to terminate baby B for the health of Baby A." Uh, I'm sorry, what did you just blah, blah, blah, at me in no uncertain terms. Not, "we might want to consider, or their is a possibility, just simply that she isn't going to make it. I pointed out that she was still growing and was larger than last time and that her heart was beating strong. I mean, if the fetus is doing her part to grow and live, why would we decide to destroy her because her brother is bigger than her? He held his position, so I left. I called my husband blubbering across the parking lot telling him to find me another doctor. By the way, the new doctor he found was AMAZING! I hope that women who visit this man are strong enough to make their own decisions and not just listen to him because he is a doctor. He knew not what he was talking about. Beyond that, telling a pregnant woman something like that so coldly and as if it was a fact could cause a person to be so distraught that it would be damaging to the pregnancy. Both my twins were born healthy, and are happy, wonderful people...who both always show up in the 99% for size at every doctor visit. I hate to think that people follow his advise. There's no reason my beautiful daughter didn't have a chance to make it into this world...but if I had listened to him she wouldn't be here. That makes Dr. Pedron the worst choice.

Later I got a call from the office staff asking if I wanted to keep the appointment tomorrow since I had a video visit. I informed her that I was not aware that it was a video visit since I had already declined the video visit earlier and kept the appointment. She seemed surprised. I called back later and canceled the appointment. Someone had also called about my labs which I know have multi abnormal values and I declined reviewing them stating I was seeing someone in person tomorrow and she can go over them then. So, I guess I won't know what to do about the abnormal lab results as well. Needless to say I wont be returning due to the bumbling staff and the risk of things going sour the next time I attempt to see a nurse practioner. Disappointing since I planned on continuing to go there but now I won't be returning which probably don't really matter to them.
