Over the past month our schedules have been hectic, especially mine with no room to get our four-legged baby into her usual groomer. Doing a bit of research I found that there were several mobile groomers in the area with good reviews. I chose AZ Pet Stylist because of their professionalism and good reviews. Being that this would be Coco's first time with this groomer, we wanted to look inside the mobile "spa". The stylist Blair was friendly and very attentive to Coco's friendliness. She did a great job with Coco and groomed her exactly like her usual groomer does. It's great to know we have another option and the convenience of a mobile groomer that will do a great job. Blair gave us a small gift bag with AZ Pet Stylist magnets and informative pamphlets for our reference, which we greatly appreciated. Kay/Allison - I totally understand you need to increase prices. That's not my issue. The issue was I was not given a satisfactory reason why MY dog's price went up by $55. If you are not going to have the same increase across the board be prepared to say why one particular dog is $55 more. The first call back, Chloe tried to explain but she went off to say it would be cheaper if we do weekly. When I heard that I thought this conversation is not going anywhere. That has nothing to do with my price increase so I got frustrated and just left it at that. Yes I called right back and got another staff and I mentioned about my friend's increase is $20. I know a pit bull's styling is simpler than a Bishon. The thing is nobody made an effort to tell me the stylist's experience with Pierre to justify the increase of $55. It seemed arbitrary and the max increase was set without noting the actual reason which now you mentioned "longer time" - wiggling , etc. When Amanda was grooming Pierre she did not take longer than an hour. Amanda groomed Pierre the longest and after she left we had different groomers come and Shanna being the most frequent after that. I did notice some grooming took longer. I know Pierre is not a wiggler during bathing from experience but of course I can't say for haircut. I recall Shanna mentioned wiggling the first time she did Pierre but never mentioned it again. I assumed they were just getting to know each other and been ok after that. I'm always told he was a good boy so I had to assume no issues. Hope my feedback helps identify some communication improvement. Thanks for your time. read more
