My dogs can be reactive to new people, but the groomers that came to get them made sure to greet them with love and treated them so kindly, my dogs were happy to go with them! My groomer is Rebecca, and she comes to our house to do my pet's grooming. I have two larger dogs that can be intimidating to some people including a 90 lb Belgian Malinois named Khaos. Rebecca takes very good care of both of them. They are smelling good, brushed and bathed, nails trimmed the whole nine. Cannot recommend them enough. read more

I had an appointment that was made last week and now am being told that since the groomers OBGYN got booked in the same slot, they chose to bump me. My wife, who is a psych nurse working full time and doing clinicals for her masters planned her entire only day off around this appointment and they are still choosing to not honor the appt. They did a good job grooming last time, but if I cannot depend on them to not bump me for someone they consider more important, I cannot entrust them with my time of my family member. Do not use this groomer!! They used a shampoo that gave my dog a rash, didn't clip around her mouth and nose. Shaved down a wire haired dog, which dulls the coat (every groomer should know that), barely clipped her nails and MOWED DOWN her 1 1/2" long eyelashes on one eye! After that I was still willing to give them another shot but Athena canceled my appointment saying we "weren't a good fit"! So, you better kiss some ass and not complain! They don't deserve your money, in my opinion, find a groomer who CARES and knows what they're doing! read more

Ok, third time is a charm! Today we had Mutts N More mobile groomer back since the last time we had them several months ago. And they did a FANTASTIC job! It was a way better experience than last night, both my dogs are fresh, cleaned and looking amazing. I took my 2 dogs in for a simple nail grinding. Was greeted by a young red head male. He immediately grabbed my 55 lb dog's leash. She's skiddish anyways and he didn't make any effort to introduce himself. When she hesitated to go with him by leash he grabbed her by the collar to try dragging her with him and then attempted to pick her up. All while she's fighting her way out of his arms and attempts to bite him and scratch him. I don't blame her! Some strange man immediately picking her up off the ground within the first one minute if meeting her! Is this standard practice of getting to know a new dog client? This is not safe practice and if this is how you approach a new dog then you're lucky you still have all your digits and limbs. I regret that I didn't leave right then, but I just didn't think fast enough. Once she was down I offered to walk my dogs in with him and then he said he'd get their nails done and come get me in my car when he was finished. The nail trim was good. I paid for the service but will NEVER be back! read more

Shay is amazing! Could not be more pleased! My dog bit two groomers. Vet couldn't examine him. He's had to be sedated to be groomed. Trazadone nor gabapentin helped. Pound said he was around 6, more like 12. Blind in right eye. From paperwork and behavior vet thinks he was stud dog. Let go cause he was no longer useful. He couldn't see through his long hair. Shay spent 2 1/2 hours with him and got him shaved so he can see and be clean. I'm so happy not to have to gas his organs anymore. The guilt and debate over whether that was fair to him was a war in my head since March. Thank you Shay, you're the best. read more

Absolutely recommend! We booked a mobile grooming appointment for my elderly dog who is about 15 years old and my cat who is basically a fat puff ball. Strider (our dog) has had horrible experiences in the past of being in stressful environments, shaved to close and cut, and being kept in a kennel longer than he needs to be due to busy over crowded facilities. Mutts-N-More exceeded all my expectations. Rosa did an AMAZING job on my dog and my cat! She finished both under two hours and she shaved them perfectly. I've been to a lot of groomers and I am stoked to have one that is fast, high quality, and super loving towards my animals!! Very very disappointed with their lack of customer service for their long time customers I would not recommend going to them. I Have had three appointments with them in two weeks Two of them were canceled due To problems with their scheduling and staff third appointment I Was rerouted due to an accident. Tried calling them to let them know I was running a few minutes behind arrived 15 minutes late and was denied service after a 45 minute drive. I was desperate to get my two dogs' nails clipped a couple weeks ago and found Mutts-N-More here on Yelp. They were gracious enough to fit them in their busy schedule and did a wonderful job managing both of their fears of having their feet touched. I have always been afraid of clipping their quicks but Shay did a confident masterful job of getting them as low as possible without any pain to my dogs. I took our Sammy to Mutts N More for the first time today. He is 9 years old so changing our groomer was difficult but they just weren't doing it right anymore. I read the reviews and decided that the few negative reviews they had sounded more like a misunderstandings than anything else and no one is perfect, right? But they also had some truly glowing reviews..and it didn't hurt that my daughter just brought her new dog there a few weeks ago and were very happy. So we made our appointment, had to wait about a week which is typical. They started on time (even a little early since we were there early). Alyssa (spelling?) asked a lot of good questions so she understood exactly what we wanted. Even asked for pictures. (Sam is a Papillon so haircuts are a thing.) She was done in about an hour and 15 and Sam looked GREAT! He clearly handled it very well and I was much more worried than I needed to be. Alyssa and her groomer in training (?), Brandy, played Edward Scissorhands with my dog!! they groomed my dog's head to the point that in the nasal bridge area or stop you can almost see his bone, and they shaved the genital area so much my dog walks a few steps and licks his penis; the veterinarian didn't shave as much when he neutered my dog! I booked the appt. to have his legs groomed, his nails filed, and be given a bath; also when I arrived at their business I went over what my dog needed groomed. When I picked him up, he was not bathed and his head was done without my consent! I said no problem and paid. When we arrived home, the dog could barely walk, he wouldn't stop licking himself. I didn't request a sanitary trim, and from the services listed on their website one has to request it. read more
