Troy did a fantastic job on the installation of recessed lighting for my home. He came in to discuss what we wanted to do and explained us how he can do it with different options. He also gave us an opportunity to look at a model installation he had done in our community. He gave us an estimate of the total cost of the project with each line item explained properly. The day of the install, he should at exactly the same time he mentioned he will start the work. He covered all the furniture and the floor with plastic to prevent it from getting dirty from the dust from the holes that he had to drill into the ceiling for the lights. We had him install 7 brand new recessed lights and got our kitchen recessed lights converted to the new modern recessed lights. Everything was done in a professional and clean way. He also installed a new ceiling fan for us and rewired the switches properly to work with the recessed lights. The work area was vaccum cleaned after the install was finished. The payment requested was exactly the same amount that was quoted to us. We were extremely satisfied with the quality of the work. I would recommend Troy and AZ Recessed Lighting to anybody for their recessed light installation. He is very professional and does quality work. We wanted recessed lighting to brighten up the living room in our home and we contacted AZ Recessed Lighting, after seeing positive reviews on Yelp. Troy was very courteous and prompt when I contacted him over the phone. He provided me a quote within 30 minutes of my call to him after checking such details of the living room area, ceiling height, whether a 1 floor home or 2 floor home and whether there is an existing fan or not in that area. He was honest to say that 4 recessed lights would be sufficient and that 6 will not be required. I liked that he was upfront about any potential additional costs that may arise (in case they had to drill though a beam; which finally we did not have to incur). I found their quote reasonable and transparent with breakdown of costs. They came over to install promptly on the agreed date and time. Though he said it may take 4 hours, Troy and his assistant completed the job within less than 3 hours; the installation was professional, they took care to cover the furniture and they cleaned up without leaving any trace of any residue / dust that arises from drilling to install the lights. Oh my gosh, we love our new recessed lighting in our kitchen. We had track lighting attached to our 17 foot ceiling that made it near impossible to change the bulbs, when needed. We've hired Troy for several lighting jobs in the past and we've always been very pleased with his work. Because he'd already earned our total trust, we recently asked him to install a Transfer Switch in our home to accommodate a portable generator (in case of power outage). This is a complex job that must be done right, no room for error. They were very polite and professional through the whole process of the project. I changed a few things during the job, however they were able adapt to the changes and still finish on time.
