My girlfriend and I went in this week for the 60 minute massage. They were able to schedule us for a same day appointment (she just got done with a 12 hour drive, I just got off a plane)- it was her first professional massage and she noted the professionalism, cleanliness, and quality during the entire experience. They frequently checked to ensure the pressure was satisfactory. I've been to many massage parlors/spas and this was one of the best massages I've ever received. Most massage therapists that I've been to aren't able to provide deep enough pressure for me, but my therapist at Azalea was able to locate and work out the tension in all my trouble spots. Some friends at work had recommended this place. I called at 10am and the took me in at 11am. I arrived a few minutes early and they took me in right away. I asked for the 60 minute Deep Tissue massage for $60. I appreciate that they didn't try to up sell other services or memberships. The young lady "Si" asked if there were any areas that I wanted her to focus on and she spent a good 20 minutes there. Best part was I felt I got my monies worth with the full 60 minutes, not like other places that only give you 50-55 minutes and call it an hour. Needless to say I will definitely go back. read more

After having a bad experience at Azelea, I immediately received a response from the manager, Summer to see what she could do to improve my experience. I returned to the spa today to have a massage from Summer and I was so glad that I gave Azalea another chance. Summer's skills and techniques were exemplary! She included point work between my scapula and worked very specific areas where I was feeling tension in my low back, she also performed upper and lower body stretches and finished the session with hot rocks. I was desperate for a massage, and the usual spots are filled. Took a chance and am thrilled I did! Had the 100 min (30min foot massage, 70min body massage) with Yuki. Don't let her sweet demeanor fool you, she is very skillful. Attacks my knots with no mercy, discovered more knots on me than what I thought I had Through out the whole session, she gradually increased the pressure until she noticed my body tension and asked if this is the amount of pressure she can settle on. Her breathing and pressure never changed from beginning to end; a good way to measure skill level of a masseuse. read more

I am giving three stars because my masseuse left the room 3 times during my 60 minute massage. Once to check out another customer, and I'm not sure why the following two times. It disrupted the flow of the massage and made me feel uneasy, as she left the door wide open each time she left. The door was also halfway open throughout most of my massage, until she closed it almost all the way the final time she came back in the room. I was in the first room by the cash register and waiting room, and could hear conversations on the other side of the wall for most of my massage, despite the soothing music that was playing. This was my first experience at Azalea Spa, and the staff was all wearing masks, even throughout my massage. The staff was all very friendly. My masseuse was very receptive to me asking for her to go lighter, or dig in on my areas of heavy tension, which I appreciated! And the price is $60 for an hour massage, which you can't beat!! read more

We are visiting from out of town. I have received regular massages in the past at home but haven't had one for a while. After the 14 hour drive, when I stood up, pain would shoot down from my back constantly. I called Azalea Spa based on the excellent review I read, and asked if I could make an appointment. It was Saturday, so I wasn't sure I would be able to get in. The lady said she would hold a spot for me. I was greeted warmly, and asked for a deep massage. I have had other deep massages other places where it ended up not a deep massage and I was very unsatisfied. However, I was very surprised that she took the time to deeply massage my muscles, especially my neck, shoulders, and lower back were I indicated I was in the most pain. I left feeling relaxed with no hint of pain or soreness. Today, the next day, I still feel great and can stand in one place without pain. What a relief! We visit San Antonio often since our kids live here. I will definitely make it a point to call Azalea for a massage the next time we are here. read more

Azalea spa has been a lifesaver for me. I travel extensively for work which is not conducive to my ongoing back issues that are the results of a sports injury from years ago. The management goes overboard to make sure your experience is top-notch. I have received treatment from several of the staff members and each and every one are highly trained and very responsive to your needs. They also give you the exact amount of time you pay for. Azalea Spa is amazing! We just returned from a double reflexology session and are beyond relaxed. The first session included a ten minute foot soak, 50 minute reflexology and 10 minutes of head, neck and shoulder massage. We loved it so much we returned for the same treatment a second time but were disappointed that the last 10 minute massage was missing.
