My pedicure here was wonderful, but I was incredibly disappointed in my massage. It started off with little pressure, as most do, and I was anticipating my masseuse to gradually go deeper, but that wasn't the case. By the time I switched from backside to frontside, it was halfway through my hour, and I could not tell a bit of difference after receiving what I can only refer to as "gentle rubbing". While working on my frontside, masseuse spent a good 20 minutes (or so it felt) just rubbing my face with little to no pressure, which is a good chunk of time in a 1 hr service. I did provide feedback when I checked out and was given a 10% discount on my service, but it was overall a disappointing experience. read more

Got a gift certificate here recently and decided to put it to use! Love my experience and I'm definitely going to return. The salon is super cute and has a lot in it! From nail care, make up, different spa services and more... they really do have anything for a good day of pampering. The service was great, everyone was friendly and attentive. The masseuse was very nice and followed direction on the areas that needed attention and took her time. I dozed off a few times, I was definitely relaxed. Their pricing is very affordable as well. The COVID cleaning practices were some of the best I've ever seen. I witnessed an employee cleaning and it was very thorough. The 90 massage was awesome. My companion and I both enjoyed it and felt great afterwards. The manicure and pedicures were mostly great. Both ladies did a fantastic job at the massage parts. My companion's nails were well painted by her manicurist but the manicurist I had did not paint my nails well. The nail wasn't prepped well so the polish had bumps. The polish on the sides of the nails and at the nail beds were rigid and not precise. I wasn't happy with the paint job and will get them redone. I basically never review anything on Yelp any more, but the facial I got here today was the best in my life and I had to sing it's praises. I've paid way more for facials that weren't nearly as comprehensive as this. I was a little skeptical because this place just looks like a tiny house, but everything was clean, and the service was amazing. Nice waiting room, yummy pineapple-mint water and then an hour of a great organic facial with extractions and a ton of massage. I saw Tara, and instead of just sitting there while various treatments worked like they do at many places, she massaged my whole upper body AND my lower legs/feet. What a wonderful surprise. Along came, HEATHER..... (She is a blessing, a new friend, a God sent angel) ****The ONLY Person, Who has helped me feel better when everything else had failed****** She offered me a gift of hope & Relief Heather identified & targeted the source of my pain. My doctors eventually diagnosed my pain. The doctors answer was invasive, chemical, costly, with risks and in my opinion...... UNNECESSARY Miss. Heather, She did offer relief to my pain! I am too young to feel old, but also old enough to not keep paying for luxuries that no longer allowed me to feel pampered. Had in not been for Heathers' knowledge of Cupping....... I may have just surrendered to the.....pain allowing myself to say, "I must be getting older" not much I can do I do not require Cupping as often as I enjoy Massage, Facials, Hair or Nail treatments. My wife and I had our first couples massage here last week. It was the first time for both of us. She found out about A.R.T. because they do small sessions at her work. A.R.T. is a little fluorescent green colored building on Sunset. I was impressed; place was really nice and peaceful inside. Just what I would expect from a massage parlor and spa. I like the fact that the place was very Green using as few paper products as possible, and placing some Green facts throughout the place. The massage itself was great. I was kinda afraid that it was going to be a ticklish experience, but to my surprise it wasn't. Jessica the massage therapist I was using was very helpful. She offered some different options to use in the hour we had. I opted for a full body which was very relaxing, and stress relieving. The session itself did in fact last a whole hour. I have heard that some places charge a hour but give 50mins of service. After the session the staff was not rushing us out the door, or anything like that. I felt great, and ready to take on the world or the hustle of life. The price for the couples massage was $130; after that if you register your email with them they send you specials and coupons. After I looked on the website I found out that A.R.T. offers many different types of services and packages. They also offer a lot of packages for men too. A.R.T. also has a retail area selling clothing, jewelry, neck/eye pillows, candles, and other organic facial products. I don't think I will go to another place for a massage; even though there are cheaper options. I don't want to cut corners on this one. 5 Stars for A.R.T. Massage Body Spa a very relaxing experience. The massage beds are amazing (I want the same for my personal bed) and the spaces are so tranquil you forget there is a life outside. And you leave with money - meaning they do not gouge you on prices. So reasonable for the service provided. I also HIGHLY recommend this for teens serious in sports. Everything is organic and all natural and the jewelry they sell is all handmade- which I personally love! Keep it local!! I got an hour full body massage from Kevin. It was the best massage I have ever gotten. He was extremely interested in what I do on a daily basis to focus on what areas are the most tense. After leaving, I felt beyond relaxed. He was also extremely nice and personable- never once did I feel uncomfortable. I then moved to the dry pedicure from Bonnie, this was my first dry pedicure. I'm very ticklish with my feet but not once did she make me jerk my foot back. She gave my great information about facials because I had a really bad experience a few years back. She gave me samples and her card and told me exactly what type of facial I should get- which I am scheduling with her this weekend. Overall, GREAT EXPERIENCE! Absolutely adore this little place. I go to her for waxes and facials all the time! She's so very nice! Veronica does my pedicures and she's great, too! She always says hi to me, even if I'm not there for a pedi. The girls at the front desk are always very courteous and knowledgeable. A couple months ago I needed a donation for a silent auction and they were more than happy to oblige! I've never waited very long for service. It's always a joy to visit this spa! I only wish they did hair! They've had a couple Groupon offers and what they call an "ARTpon" which was only available to e-mail subscribers (they only send one e-mail a month at most, I'm sure). I love this place! I've been going here for about 4 years now and absolutely love everything about it. The spa is a converted house and offers a very cozy and comforting vibe. My most recent service was a 90 minute deep tissue massage with Vivian was great and worked out all the knots in my back, shoulders and neck. And since I spend 8 hours a day looking at three monitors for work, attend yoga 3 times a week and then go home to look at my iPad, you bet there was a lot! Three days later, I am still nice and relaxed from the massage. If I could afford it, I'd be there once a week. Well, until I win the lottery or get a big raise, you'll find me there once a month. PS- Appointments are a little tight right now due to a Living Social deal. Just try to book in advance (think on a Tuesday or Wednesday for a Saturday service) and you should be fine. read more

The rooms are all very nice and don't have that sterile feel of some more commercial establishments. I've used 5 or 6 therapists over the years and all have been excellent. Recently I've used Mila twice and Tiffany several times. Each has their particular strength. But honestly, you could pick anyone and be very happy. You will receive a warm welcome and a glass of fruit infused water when you arrive. The waiting area is nice and relaxing. The massage beds have a warmers, which adds that little extra luxury. The products used in the facials are all organic and smell amazing. I recently treated myself to a spa package which included a steam treatment. I've been in steam rooms before but this was a different experience altogether. And different in a good way- seriously, 20 minutes in the weird steam contraption and I was sound asleep! They do waterless pedicures too. This is the first time I'd tried the waterless method and it was pretty cool. It felt significantly cleaner and germ free. Those weird foot rubs always kind of grossed me out and here, I don't have to worry about it! Like any spa, ART can feel a bit pricey but the spa packages are great deals. I love this place! After getting some kind of fungus on my leg from Anna's nails and being grossed out by getting my feet grated with a cheese grater and even bleeding, I moved on to better places. I get my pedi at Art Body Spa. Bonnie is awesome and all the people that work there. They do have the BEST infused water. Their products are all natural. They have a variety of merchandise for sale such as jewelry, clothes and face/body products (Ask for free samples). This place is cozy, artsy and funky.
