Extremely unfriendly to curvy women. I went in to ask about a particular brand and the customer service girls both were standoffish and unhelpful. One pulled out two outfits from brand in Small. I said "im not a small." And she said "well what size are you?" I said "im a L/XL depending-a size 10/12" She said "we dont really have anything in that" and walked off. I looked myself and sure enough there was only one thing in a Large-nothing in XL. Will never go back. read more

I am from out of state and found this store online, I was having a difficult time making my purchase online so I called and Jane the sales associate went above and beyond! she helped me figure out which size would work best and took care of my entire purchase over the phone and even called me back when she had questions. it was my first time there and my first time buying lingerie so i really don't know what the hell im doing ((and also a bit nervous)) but india helped me and walked me around the store. she was super helpful without being fake which is 100% appreciated. she suggested a piece that i actually ended up taking and it's so simple and beautiful. olivia checked me out and reiterated how amazing that set is and how she wears it so it made me feel that much more comfortable getting it especially for that high price ((reasonable but i'm broke and this was a gift to myself for completing something)). will definitely come back. the pieces overall are super high quality and there's an array to choose from. the changing rooms were also clean and the second mirror helped me look at what i was trying on in its entirety. 10/10. read more

The girls working at the time I stopped by were super nice, helpful, without being pushy to try/buy anything. I would suggest going towards the back by the dressing room and checking out their sales (it's technically a bin?--but that makes it sound more tacky than it is)..and there's cute lingerie inside, at a more reasonable price point. I used to like this place, but i guess i've had enough-- the sales girls suck. no 'hello,' no 'let me know if you need anything,' not even a 'thank you' after you buy. this has happened more than once, and i dont even think it was the same person. they just sit there by the register, selecting indie songs from 5 year ago, doing nothing. also second time that they didnt have their most popular bra in my totally average boob size in stock. read more

The people who work here act completely disinterested in assisting the customer in any fashion and put off by any request that will pull them away from the huge computer monitor they hide behind. I was given a Groupon to use at this store as a gift and it took months to find something that they had in stock due to the limited sizes (I wear a medium) and selection. I believe the idea of a Groupon is to entice first-time shoppers to come check out the store in hopes that they will return to buy again, but that won't be happening. read more

Oh, yeah, sister, I second that molehill emotion... As a matter of fact, the day I went, there was NOTHING beyond a B-cup. The saleslady implied that "plus sized" items, possibly even something in a C, would be coming soon before asking if I had implants. (I don't, though I guess if I'd said yes, she might have had a well deserved heart attack and keeled over.) Yes, yes, the items are cute, but I have far more respect for designers that can work their cute magic for a wide variety of body types... And, yes, I totally bought panties despite being so grossly offended. But that's getting off topic- I am deeply ashamed of those panties and keep them tucked in the bottom of the drawer as a reminder that I should never fall off the wagon and lose my social conscience again! read more

Amazing selection of lingerie and swimwear. Was looking speifically for a Melissa Odabash bikini years ago and found it there. Then two weeks later, was just browsing their site and found another Odabash bikini I had to have. Went there and looked through their selection- they had some great Zimmerman (which is always super hard to find at stores I think), Lisa Maree and Tori Praver suits. They had a great range of lingerie as well but...so much of a selection that I was just too lazy to pick through. I think your best bet would be to look at their website first though. Excellent customer service, very helpful staff. Ordered online and chose expedited shipping then called to confirm it would be shipped soon. Salesperson was very helpful, later that day I saw they had refunded my expedited shipping and just shipped regular ground. Because I live nearby got package next day without extra shipping fees. Better off buying swimwear online! Showgirls don't know what they're doing!!! The store itself is super cute. Small but good selection of swimwear. They don't let you switch out tops and bottoms unless within the same brand and style. Although sometimes they will let you if it's a black suit and the manager is there, but don't count on it. The people that work there are hopeless. Couldn't answer questions, couldn't figure out how to ring up the purchases I wanted, and couldn't reach management for help. Was overcharged by $89, which I noticed before I left. I told the sales girl and she apologized and said she would refund it. I asked her to do it in front of me and she said she had to do it through the computer and it would take awhile because it was Sunday. Of course she forgot. Had to call back to ask for refund three days later!!! And the shopgirl asked me to come back in to use my card for refund!!!! Eventually she figured out how to do it on the phone. Huge hassle. Won't be shopping there again. read more

I went on a Sunday late afternoon. The store, which is quite small, was not busy. Maybe three other shoppers. There were two helpers, and neither greeted me when I entered. Not a big deal, but I actually was hoping for a bit of help selecting sizes and looking for particular pieces. Also, never having been in the store before, a general, 'our swim suits are here, sale items here' would have been appreciated. Whatever, I can peruse the clustered racks myself. They only have two dressing rooms. The selection is ok, I've seen better and for better prices but I did like that I found more unique things than you'd find at a Victoria's Secret. One saleslady was really hustling, not friendly, but actually checking on shoppers, finding sizes, while the other sat moping behind the counter. I had to wait about twenty minutes at the checkout behind one other girl, and counter girl made no attempt to be friendly or polite to me, mostly just complained to the other saleslady. For the selection and price I'd give 3.5 stars, for the experience, I'd give it one. read more

No one is pushing you to buy something that doesn't work for you. This shop is great!!! Their clothes and lingerie are super cute-looking but also really high-quality. Not to mention the beautiful and unique jewelry and hair accessories they carry! I have a weird figure where I am a D-cup but am only five feet, and the staff area always very helpful in finding me stuff that fits right and looks good. And I love how the lingerie they carry ranges from good-girl to not-so-good-girl! Definitely worth going shopping at Azaleas. Store is great because it is stocks more than just lingerie. I like the dresses, bathing suits, jewerly, and loungewear too. This is my go-to store when I need something cute, non-generic, and not too expensive to wear that can take me from day to night. I appreciate the laid-back, no pressure sales style. I know the store puts out their smallest sizes to save on space but there are usually larger sizes in stock as well. I always come out of the store with something! read more

I visited this cute shop in the past week and I'm planning on my next trip to stop by again. Everything is organized in a colorful OCD way. Despite all this, the store looks very open and bare. They carry a lot of stock of a lot of it isn't sitting out for you to touch and play. You actually have to ask the salesgirls and search for things not out on display. The salesgirls have the East Village rocker thing going on which is cool. The one thing that bugs me about this store is that they don't carry a lot of sizes. I am familiar with all of the brands they carry and know a lot of them make sizes that aren't carried in the store. It makes it really hard for me to try anything on and how am I going to buy something if I can't try it on? They carry brands like Huit, Mimi Holliday, Maison Close, Elle MacPherson and Cosabella. I wear a 32FF/G and I always have to try bras on because at my size, I need all the help I can get and not all bras even in my size will always work for me. They carry a huge selection of colorful panties though and I will definitely come back for more of those. read more
