When we were told about this? When our renewal came and was double the premium. We inquired and was told it never should have been written. "It's a gray area" is what we were continuously told. We are very lucky we did not have a claim, we would have been screwed!!! We cancelled the auto debit portion for the renewal to insure Allstate could not automatically withdrawn the doubled premium. Now because we made that change, they want to charge us for the change. This change would affect future premiums not the current, that was already paid.
