Outstanding customer service on top of gorgeous dainty jewelry. Had the pleasure of meeting Tatiana this morning and she is a GEM amongst all the store gems. I had visited the store once before but was passing by and needed a gold choker to pair with another piece and walked out extremely happy with my purchase. Outstanding pieces, decent to ridiculous prices, somewhat non-existant customer service (unless of couse you're planning on buying something - then the owner seemed to perk up quite a bit). I loved so much, if not all, of what I saw in this shop, and there were plenty of items that were actually very reasonably priced, considering the quality, and yet I couldn't bring myself to pay what she was asking for a lot of her other pieces. For example: there was a pair of earrings, with gunmetal charms that were maybe a quarter of an inch long. Maybe. These things were beyond tiny, and yet she wanted $29 for them - I'm still trying to figure out what she did to them that warranted the price, aside from hooking the charm onto an earring post and calling it her "creation." Granted, I respect her craftsmanship and the beauty of her designs, I just can't bring myself to fork out the cash for some things that are so glaringly overpriced, great design and quality aside. It also doesn't give me much incentive to buy anything when I'm looking at items on the counter two feet from the owner's face and she can't be bothered to say hello or ask if I need any help. I picked out and bought jewelry from this shop online. The jewelry seems to be holding up well so far. One of the products that I bought was in stock when I bought it, but then all of a sudden out of stock a few days later. Azil contacted me and offered a replacement item with a few choices to choose from (rose gold, gold, & silver) but the color of the item I received was incorrect from what I chose. Unfortunately, the packaging for my purchases was subpar. For a boutique that's selling jewelry at the prices that they do, they need to spend more money on better packaging for their products. read more

I love their jewelry and think it's fairly good value. I've ordered from them many times in the past year and usually am very satisfied with the earrings I have received. My most recent order, which I received about a month and a half ago, wasn't such a good experience. One of the cubic zirconia stones fell out within two weeks after I started wearing the stud. I live NY and during the quarantine, I decided to do some online shopping. Azil Boutique came up on my Instagram feed and I decided to check out their page. I then went through their website and they have jewelry of all tones and of all varieties. I crossed the ring page of the website and ended up ordering the "thick band ring" in sterling silver (it is actual sterling silver). The original price was around $49 and was on sale for $28. I'm even still upset that I paid the $28 for this ring. When I got it in the mail I was super excited but come to find out, the quality was very poor. It feels very thin & cheap and I'm sure if I put enough force on it I can bend it in between in fingers. It feels as if, I won it from one of those machines at the grocery store when you were leaving. I compared it to a $50 ring from Pandora and the quality definitely shows in between the two. I won't be ordering from them again, I gave the ring to my younger sister because they even sent the wrong size. My boyfriend spent over $600-$700 on my dream 3 piece necklace. We're not rich so this was a big deal. It kept getting tangled so I went back and they revealed for $35 they could add a clasp that's would divide the 3 necklaces. A) why they didn't mention this before, I don't know. B) one of the workers puts on the clasp. He does so backwards, but says it won't affect anything other than I have to clasp it awkwardly with left hand so I say ok reluctantly C) Said 3 piece necklace, due to putting clasp on backwards, would open and fall off my neck but I'd notice cause it was so big, so I was concerned but never thought I'd lose it. The plan was to go to store and have them fix the clasp but business hours were not always consistent or conducive to my schedule... finally my necklace falls off outside at Golden Gate park, when I didn't notice and it gets lost!! I was devastated! This is 100 percent all due to the clasp, not my specific human error, other than wearing it thinking i would totally notice if clasp defaulted, as it did. I call them devastated telling the store how my $700 necklace my bf got me, fell off and was lost ( within 1-2 months of purchase ) due to this faulty clasp put on backwards by their staff ... Lisa / the store had nothing to say about it: no offering to allow me to replace it with a one time discount, or acknowledge their huge part in this, even though it happened due to the staff mistake/ laziness not to redo the job they acknowledged they did backwards ( happened to be done by the one guy who works there). This happened a year ago now and I'm still upset about it. This is a small business in my neighborhood that I want to support and love, and I rarely leave bad reviews, but this is just bad business. I pass it all the time and their stuff is gorgeous, but I will never shop here again unless they reach out (message me here if you want to make this right ) and take accountability for selling me a $700 3 piece necklace with clasp backwards, which 100 percent caused this, and offer some type of one time discount so I can try to replace it with something. I want to feel good about this place and my experience, but how could a business conduct themselves like this ? read more

This is a small boutique but they have a nice selection of accessories/jewelry. I have purchased a few pieces here which I still wear and they all have held up quite well. Their service is great as they're very helpful. They ship orders which I was unaware of. My sister was in town and we stopped by after brunch. Since anklets are meant to be worn on the ankle, you would think that they would be sturdy. That is not the case. My anklet broke within a month, then when I took it back and asked for a refund, they said they wouldn't, but they would use a stronger clasp for $10. Okay, sure. I did that. The anklet then broke in a DIFFERENT spot, 3 DAYS later. I emailed Gabe who works there asking for a refund, and they said they would absolutely not give me a refund, but they would give me 15% off on a replacement. I was in SF this weekend for the Outside Lands Music Festival (which was amazing by the way...) We had to walk through Hayes every day so we could get to the Civic Auditorium to take the shuttle to the festival. We walked by the Azil store Friday and Saturday and I kept looking into the window drooling. I love all of their jewlery and was doing some MAJOR window shopping. To be honest, I was too scared to go in because I figured, cute jewlery boutique in a cute part of SF - probably means everything is super pricey. There was a certain black leather bracelet wrap with gold studs that I was IN LOVE with. I couldn't stop thinking about it...even as I was at the festival rocking out to Muse. So on Sunday I just couldn't resist...I had to walk into the store and check the price. And guess what...it was only $32!! I was SO flipping excited. And of course I bought it and I've been wearing it since. I seriously haven't taken it off for a second. My eye was caught by a necklace a friend of mine had on. It was a 36" rose gold diamond cut jump ring beauty. The necklace is stunning. I wanted one and found out where she got it. I called Azil and spoke with the very polite Nadia. I told her what I wanted that was purchased at Azil. I sent her a quick email with a photo of the necklace and she immediately said that they could place an order for me and that it would arrive in about 10 days. I ordered 3. One for me and one each for my bridesmaids. Fast forward 10 days. I received a call from the store letting me know that the necklaces had arrived along with an email. I quickly picked them up along with a cutie pie middy one knuckle ring. I was very impressed with their prompt service and willingness to help me. Super cute designs. Poor quality metal. The pieces are listed as "delicate", however, that means they will bend, break, and not last very long. I bought two sets of earrings which were placed in a cute jewelry sack. Unbeknownst to me, that was not safe enough for these pieces. They should've been placed in a little box, if they were that delicate. The employees know this but still let me place this in my purse with no warning. I returned to the store to get them repaired but the hoop earring isn't secure enough to stay on my ear. I told the employee this, and they didn't offer any other solution. I really liked the earring too. I don't ever leave this kind of review, but I wish I was forewarned to avoid this predicament. Then I look at their return policy, which is pretty lengthy with all these clauses. One must wonder what kind of jewelry store does not stand behind their product. It's too bad. Azil has a very nice selection of unique pieces and dainty jewelry. My favorite part about them is they are able to make some custom pieces and are willing to do special orders. I recently custom ordered 3 very cute bracelets in; 18k gold, rose gold, and sterling silver, which were wrapped for me in just a couple days by their on-site jewelery maker. I gave them as gifts to friends who helped with my with my bachelorette/bridal shower planning and they loved them and have even mentioned getting compliments on them already. The highlight for me though, is while I was in there I noticed this very nice line from an LA jeweler and saw a double stacked chevron ring in 18k gold with diamonds. I loved the piece, but wanted it in a single band to go with my heart shaped engagement ring. Liza, (the owner of Azil), called the company to see if they made the piece in a single band. Unfortunately, they do not, but then she offered to look at an upcoming jewelry expo she was attending to find me the perfect wedding band. The ring she found is very unique and honestly just a perfect match for my style and needs. Her and Sam were very helpful in getting the ring ordered for me, so it arrives in time for my intimate SF wedding. I also had a necklace and bracelet set that my Fiance had bought there for me a couple years back and the bracelet had snagged on my dress, so they fixed the bracelet for me and cleaned both pieces. Being allergic to any "fake" earrings, it is very difficult for me to find cute ones without having to drop a lot of money on them. That being said, this place is great. A good selection of earrings with silver posts, which means (for me anyway,) no swollen ears! I bought a very cute pair of dangle-y earrings for 50 dollars, which I thought was very fair. They had a lot more jewelry that I liked, but my meter time was running out so I couldn't browse as long as I would have liked. I also bought a gold ring with the initial "A" on it. Very cute.. As soon as I saw it, I knew it was fate. We were meant to be together. :) I also bought a belt. Not real leather, but hey, it was 10 dollars. Its all good. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone in or planning to visit the area. They have a good selection at surprisingly low prices for being an SF boutique, especially in this area. Really impressed with the proprietor of this business contacting me directly regarding the unfortunate quality of necklaces I had purchased from her former store. Although she was no longer with affiliated with that store I sincerely appreciated her taking it upon herself to replace the necklaces. That is great customer service. She was gracious, apologetic and surprised at how tarnished the necklaces were. And after some discussion we came to the conclusion it was in how the necklaces were packaged that caused the intense discolouration. She quickly replaced the necklaces and advised me on how to store the them so it would not happen again. Very happy with the personal customer service and am looking forward to purchasing a few pretty items from here... her jewelry is feminine, stands out but is not over powering so you won't get lost in it. Great store featuring local-made jewelry in unique designs made with precious metals - I'm super allergic to metal jewelry, but never have issues with their stuff. They don't plate their gold, for example; they do gold fill which seems to be key in this regard. Love their designs and contrary to what others have posted, I thought their service was excellent. Twice I've gone back for help with some of my products and they've been great. In one instance, I kept noticing that one of my earrings was looser and they fixed it for me on a later date, no charge. Another time they sold me a single earring, not in a set, once I told them I'd lost it while traveling. This alone was insanely helpful and much appreciated!
