First, i want to give a high 5 and big applause to Chris for doing a fantastic repair job from a paint scrape rubbing against a parking pole. Found this auto paint repair on Yelp and since he had great reviews, decided to directly contact him. He responded within minutes and gave me an estimate depending on what needed to be done after looking at pictures I sent him. Since he was local and his shop was 10 minutes away, I drove there rather than having his associate do a mobile repair. Chris was able to remove the scrape marks using various buffing compounds and several different buffing pads, not needing to do any paint touch ups. I could tell from his detailed work that he did it to his best and to his self-satisfaction. Chris is very friendly and I enjoyed talking with him for the hour he was working on the car and I would definitely use his expertise if the occasion arises and I highly recommend him! Chris fixed the left front bumper of my car and it honestly looks as if nothing ever happened! Had 2 pretty deep scratches; Chris also spotted two tire rims that had been badly scraped by curbs. He taped off the entire car in order to avoid any overspray. All three areas look just like new... can't believe that the rims could look so perfect! TLDR; if you have a metallic type of paint, it may not match rest of body I had a panel worked on due to scratches, but the end result left me wishing I chose a physical body shop. I asked Aztec Airbrush to come back twice to redo area worked on because the color was initially very noticeably dark compared to surrounding panels and there were obvious texture issues. Even after coming back to redo there are still said issues. There was a lack of an attention to detail in my experience--I discovered later spots of paint that were left on various parts of my car, adding to the headache. It's been about a year since, and there is still an obvious color difference and dimpling/orange peel texture in the paint. read more
