Stopped in for lunch yesterday with Aimee and Julia, and we also needed a stable Internet connection for a conference call. We were there about 3pm, so it was empty. The waiter/cook was there solo and very engaging. We started out with line margaritas on the rocks (delish) and nachos supreme, which came with chicken and taco meat, and he had put extra chicken sauce on it; came with guac and lettuce. Julia had the special fajita with steak; outstanding, cooked perfectly, tons of steak and shrimp. Aimee had the poblano peppers wrapped in egg; she said it was delicious. After discussion of the carnitas, he asked me what I usually ordered; when I said chile verde he said he could create that. It was some of the best I've ever had. My wife and I went here today for dinner 1) They wouldn't let me swap out salsa for mole' sauce even when I offered to pay more (maybe they pre-make the food I the back and therefore have none of the parts needed?) 2) My enchiladas and my wife's chimichanga were both VERY bland... almost styroform-like. No cheese at all, and only when I threw salsa on top was it even palatable I barely ate my dinner, and it was the same for my wife... don't bother with this place, cause the prices may be decent but "you get what you pay for" read more

The tastiest Mexican food around! On a drive across NY we found this little place not far from the freeway and we're so glad that we gave it a try! Friendly service, incredible food, reasonable portions, all for a very good price! Be sure to ask for the chips and salsa - they are exceptional and the perfect way to start your meal, not that you'll have much time to enjoy because the fresh food is ready fast! Fast, Fresh, Delicious. For our meal: We had the Nachos Supremos, Huevos Rancheros and El Sinaloense. The rice was perfectly cooked: soft and loose. The Nachos Supremos had lots of chicken and cheese. It could be a meal in itself! For dessert: Flan and Super Sopapillas Both good. Our waitress was great and our service was very fast it's nothing personal I just prefer texmex to authentic Mexican which this was closer to. The place was very clean and our waitress was right on top of everything. Appetizer was queso friddo which had a very good amount of spicy chorizo. It was pretty runny/drippy though the flavor was great. The tortilla chips were fresh, warm, and yummy. Meal was chicken fajitas quesodilla. I wasn't a fan of it, however, it came with refried beans and rice which were phenomenal! Dessert was fried ice cream which was sooooo good my mouth is watering thinking about it. This is the same Azteca that originally burned down and relocated to the Chautauqua Mall. They moved to Falconer recently and I must admit having their own place has really helped with presentation, flow, and comfortability. (Something about eating a salty burrito while looking across a big open room at people shopping for new pants in Old Navy didn't seem right.) Either way, the food was pretty average as far as Mexican restaurants go in our area. The food was out fast, it tasted good, and I had no real complaints. I got a chicken fajita and my guest got a burrito. Dinner was served with free chips and salsa. Not as good as Azteca in Dunkirk, but very close. read more

This place was GREAT!! Passing through like most people in these reviews, and i didn't think much of it when I arrived. Decided to give it a chance, and I'm glad I did! The food was awesome! Chips and Salsa was delicious, the fajitas were next level good, the chicken had great flavor, Beans and rice had really good flavor as well. This is a great place for Mexican food around Jamestown/Falconer. Food was great and delicious. Had the "El Sinaloense", which is grilled chicken topped with chorizo (sausage) and cheese served with rice and guacamole salad. They brought us free chip and salsa for starter. Inside the restaurant was adorn with Mexican decorations. They have a bar beside the serving area and ample parking space at the back of the restaurant. read more

The absolute best Mexican restaurant in the area. You get huge portions and the ambiance is nice. Margaritas can be pricey but SO worth it!

I'm one of those boomerangs that had lived in CA for 45 years before moving back here. I know good Mexican food when I taste it. This place does a phenomenal job on what they do. There's only one thing on the menu that was a miss for me. The taco shell was over fried and a bit greasy, but I don't usually order tacos in a restaurant. They are always best from a taqueria or street cart. The beans here are the best in Chautauqua County, which keeps me coming back for more! read more

This is where I go when I'm craving homemade Mexican food. I can tell that they make their food with intention and care, from the presentation to the flavors. Not to mention, the order was ready so fast (15 min) despite ordering 3 large dishes and the quality didn't suffer in ANY area. The guacamole, salsa, tomato, lettuce and sour cream were all incredibly fresh & refreshing. The photographed side of chips was already half eaten because I couldn't resist, they came out fresh and warm! The Nachos Supremos came with the most delicious cheese sauce and the Quesadilla Rellenas were filled with super flavorful and tender beef tips, cheese and refried beans. I enjoyed my meal from top to bottom and I can't wait to go back! It was great they allowed me to pay over the phone with my debit card when I was finished ordering and with all you see in he picture it only came to around $30! I kinda like this place! The food is good and it comes out fast. Like most Mexican joints, they leave little to be desired in the cleanliness or decor areas - but that is usually pretty common in authentic restaurants. The prices are very fair and the menu has many choices. I enjoy getting chips and salsa when you sit down prior to ordering. The staff is very friendly and it is most usually busy, which is a good sign because that means not that many people have died from the food. I like drinking beer and margaritas when I eat Mexican food. I would love to see them offer a selection of drinks that I could accidentally get trashed on while making our evening a little more uncomfortable as I confess my love to our waitress in Spanglish. As a restaurant, I believe this place has nailed it but as a auto parts store, they have a long way to go. Try the "My Special Fajita" - it will rock your world and have you begging for U.S. citizenship! I give this establishment a solid 3 out of 5 stars with the potential for another star once the add alcohol so my dinner dates can finally end with some heavy petting! read more

This is the best authentic Mexican food in the area. I have been a regular since they were located in Lakewood.v the food is hit and fresh whenever you go. Great authentic Mexican dishes, and their new Falconer location is a great atmosphere. They have free chips and salsa as well. The lunch menu is a great value and I always leave full with a happy stomach. Hopefully, they will be able to serve liquor soon. The only thing that would make a meal better from here is a margarita. read more
