Food and service was a 10/10 . Autentica comida mexicana! Cheers to the staff who did a great job with our party. We will save this spot for our next visit to Havasu.

Ground beef taco, shredded beef taco and the LBC taco.

This was my first time at Mas Locos. I was impressed by decor and energy of the restaurant. The employees were very friendly and professional. The owner went out of his way to greet us. We sat in the bar area in a booth. We were served by the bartender who was doubling at the server. The menu was extensive and has many options. We were seeking tacos and had many choices. We had a shredded beef taco, ground beef taco, Carne Asada taco and the LBC taco. Overall, the tacos were fantastic! We really enjoyed the LBC taco which was made with soft tortillas that were made at the restaurant. I really enjoyed the shredded beef taco as it had a wonderful flavor and was loaded with stuff. Our least favorite taco was the Asada taco that had an unusual sweetness to it. My friend had a house salad. It was mediocre at best. Although it was supposed to come with carrots, tomatoes, olives, and cucumbers, they were almost nonexistent. We also enjoyed the cheese enchiladas which were very good with the perfect amount of cheese. Overall, it was a great meal.

Locos Bar did not disappoint! I tried the Mexpresso Martini, and it was like dessert in a glass. The drink was perfectly balanced--smooth, rich, and just the right amount of sweetness. What really made it stand out was the ground coffee rim, which added the perfect finishing touch and extra burst of flavor with each sip. If you're an espresso martini fan, this one is definitely worth ordering!

They just opened, so I'm not going to say anything good or bad. I'll give them 6 months to figure it out. But it seems like they are trying to be a high end Mexican restaurant, it's Havasu, just make really good food. Gold silverware?? Really really big mirrors ? I really want it to be great.

What was left of the butter cake. Sorry couldn't resist

By far the best Mexican place in town. Great service and great authentic tasty food. Great prices especially for the nice atmosphere, you can't go wrong! I had their Tijuana tacos and bacon shrimp. Omg and last but not least their butter cake, definitely to die for. Flavors were amazing. I would def come here when you're in town. I give them 10+

I found queso in the desert! YaY! So good. Food has been great and service in the dining room is good too. Bar service lacks a little but food made up for it.

Loved the ambiance, decor and the food. Very nice remodel... I did not see the dining area, but we'll plan on eating in there next time.

Mas Locos is hands down the best fine dining spot in Lake Havasu. Jessie killed it with the remodel--nothing else out here even compares. The food was delicious, the ambience was perfect, and the decor? 10/10. A full-on vibe from start to finish.

But we went with friends who picked it for Taco Tuesday. I have to admit that I was pleasantly surprised. The service was prompt, friendly, and professional. While the restaurant is loud (horrible acoustics in the building), it wasn't nearly as bad as in the past. I was able to have a normal conversation with my table mates. I ordered the Taco Tuesday special ($3 per taco). I had 2 hard shell shredded beef tacos and 1 soft shell chicken taco. They were all very good, but I preferred the soft shell better. The tacos had plenty of meat and an odd lettuce/cheese mixture (75% lettuce). But the flavor of the tacos were excellent. The margarita's were huge and only $8, but my rum and coke cost $10. Overall, it was a nice meal and experience.

We decided to try the new location and, frankly, after this experience I think we'll be going anywhere else but here from now on. The service was absolutely subpar. Our waitress took our drink order, then our food order, and we basically didn't see her again until we were ready to pay. When she finally came back to check on us, she looked puzzled and asked if everything was okay. Meanwhile, all of us had very full, basically inedible plates sitting in front of us. I told her no, everything was definitely NOT okay. We ordered four entrees and every single one was cold when it arrived. The cheese in my enchilada wasn't even melted. My husband's burrito was cold and the meat was way overcooked. The egg on the enchilada was way underdone. The taco was already soggy and falling apart by the time it got to the table. And absolutely worst of all was the tamale. I'm not kidding when I say it was HARD AS A ROCK. I don't even know how you overcook a tamale that badly, but somehow they managed it. We were starving, so I ate the cold, hard enchilada and that was about it. The rice was overcooked, the beans were cold... honestly, everything about this experience at the new location was just incredibly underwhelming. The margaritas were good, but unfortunately that's about the only positive thing I can say. We paid the bill and left. The waitress offered to comp my meal, and I just shrugged and told her not to bother, but if she wanted to take the rock-hard tamale off the bill, she could. And she did, so kudos for that. But a $150 dinner for subpar service and cold, mostly inedible food is definitely NOT on my "I'll be back" list. I'm really hoping they were just having an off night for everyone else's sake because we have always loved the old location. But this experience was just BAD!

However, after covid, the food and service went downhill and we finally gave up and hadn't been there for over 5 years. Yesterday I saw an ad that they'd be having food and drink specials for Cinco De Mayo today and decided we'd try again. Bad decision. We arrived at 10:30am. Fewer than a quarter of the tables were occupied. It appeared that all of the booth seating had been removed, which we prefer. We were instructed to seat ourselves, but couldn't find a table that didn't appear "sticky". We sat and then waited and waited and waited. Eventually they took our drink order and gave us a menu. There was no indication on signs or menus of ANY Cinco De Mayo specials, nor did our hurried waitress mention any. Had we not ordered a paid drink, we'd have left after seeing the new menu prices. The new clay drink cups were very bulky, cumbersome and did not sit flat on the tables. As someone with arthritis in my hands, I found them very difficult to lift. No one brought chips and we'd all but decided they must not be serving them at all. After about 15 minutes a gentleman brought chips to our table. There was literally 10 chips in the bottom of a basket for us to split. Long after we'd finished them, the man returned and asked if we wanted more. I said yes, but he never returned. Twice during our visit, we saw him run over to Food City to pick up supplies to bring back. It was another long wait before our meal was served and by this time the lunch crowd had started arriving. It got quite busy and we couldn't even get refills for our water glasses while we waited. Meanwhile, we saw a guy that appeared to be an owner/manager chatting with guests. He never came to our table, nor did he jump in to help when lines were forming at the register or when tables needed bussing for arriving guests. It took approximately 40 minutes to get our food while being inundated by smoke fumes from the kitchen and paint fumes from their apparent remodel. When the food finally arrived, we were not impressed by the portion size for the price. It was $12 for a mini chimi (no beans or rice) and was the size of a half burrito. Nothing else. It tasted ok, but was definitely not worth the price and it was quickly finished. We then waited again for the bill. The waitress picked up our plates and twice came by saying she'd be "right back" with the bill. She wasn't. Once we finally got the bill, we had to stand in line at the register and wait yet again. What happened to the Cinco De Mayo specials and why were they so unprepared??? Being a Mexican restaurant, this was your day to shine! This visit was incredibly stressful for us and we felt that they were extremely unorganized. It will be AT LEAST another 5 years before we try again.
