We had a very disappointing lunch here. The service was inattentive, and the food was lackluster. The salsa was watery, as were the beans, the enchiladas suizas had an odd cream sauce on it instead of the typical salsa verde, and the chicken filling was oddly sweet. Food is always different each visit. The service is great. Ambiance is nice especially on weekend evenings. I will say though they lack consistency on drinks and food. Have ordered the same drink and it'll come out with a different garnish or just different amount of pours of alcohol. read more

Disgustingly dirty but fully staffed so no excuse. Expensive relative to every other Mexican restaurant across the US and we've enjoyed many. Chips, along with small pours (about 3 tablespoons each) of a mild/bland salsa and a slightly spicy salsa were served upon seating. We didn't care for the flavor of the mild so asked for a little bit more of the spicier salsa and told it would be an additional charge. Really? considering we'd ordered two alcohol beverages and two combination plates: 2 entree at $15 + 3 entree at $17. We canceled our meals and paid for our drinks+tip and left. We started with the fresh guacamole and it's worth it! Prices are reasonable for the portions. The place is clean. No food on the floors and we came in after lunch. Service at the bar is real slow. All the servers are working the floor. I waited for at least 20 minutes while some servers stood at the hostess stand talking. I was passed by several times without anyone offering to help me. read more

Delicious! I had the grill bowl with chicken, avocado slices, beans, sour cream and queso. The lunch portion was just the right size. Our waitress was very attentive and never let the drinks run out. We camp at Myakka River State Park frequently, from Sarasota, and LOVE THIS PLACE. Great service, delicious food, and in a small town! We have enjoyed everything on the menu, and the complementary chips and salsa are yummy. As a Colorado gal, I know mexican food (tex-mex) type, and this place is doing it right. The prices are amazing, and we wish they would open in Sarasota, so we could come more often. read more

If I could give it 0 stars I would. Service was bad. They were disorganized. They took forever to bring our food even though the place was half empty (now we know why). The food was mediocre to bad, over priced and we found two hairs in my granddaughter's food. Although they gave us a discount, finding someone's hair mixed with your food is disgusting and you wonder what other lack of hygiene goes on in that kitchen. There are other Mexican restaurants in Arcadia that are really authentic, cleaner and charge half the price as this place does. Will never go back. read more

When you sit, a person will approach you with an offer to give you guacamole. You think it's free right? Guess again. You pay for it at $8.50 for a hand full of it. Rip off. My wife and I dropped by this recently-opened restaurant today well after the lunch rush was over. We weren't expecting much based on some of the negative reviews we've read but wanted to judge for ourselves since we like Mexican fare and have tried all of the other Mexican-themed places in and around Sebring. We mentioned to the hostess that we had read some very negative reviews about service.....forgot to mention the ants....so maybe that's why we were so well taken care of by Ruby who was both prompt and attentive. My wife had one of the lunch specials (very inexpensive) which she said was very good and I had the fresh guacamole prepared tableside and it was among the best I've had anywhere. We will go back at a busier time so we can better judge the service but we feel the food was very good and an excellent value. We managed to have the two meals and a non-alcoholic drink for under $20 not including the tip we left. read more

We had steak fajitas and they would have probably been good if we could have had the rest of the ingredients and the tortillas at the same time the steak came out. Waitress was terrible and I even had to go in search of the tortillas 20 minutes after the steak came out. By that time all the food was cold including cold tortillas. Although I'm a New Englander, I've had some really good Mexican and TexMex in Texas and CA. Located in a tiny southern Florida Town, Azul Tequila was a pleasant surprise. I had spinach enchiladas and my wife had street tacos - chicken. Both very good as were the chips and salsa. This was a convenient lunch stop en route from Sanibel to Orlando.
