Everyone -- from the owner to the waitstaff and bartenders -- is absolutely wonderful. The atmosphere is so welcoming and fun, and you can tell they take pride in making sure guests have a great experience. The drinks are deliciously strong (in the best way!) and crafted perfectly. I ordered Las Tres Marías, which comes with cucumber jalapeño, mango, and blueberry margaritas -- such a great option if you want to sample a variety of their flavors. (SN: Mango wasn't one of the flavors, but a replacement {don't remember what for though}) For dinner, I had the quesabirria, and it was packed with flavor and plenty of meat. The consomé was rich and just as tasty. We also tried their traditional beef burrito, and it did not disappoint. We came to Azul Tequila in Arcadia for lunch with a big group. They were able to seat us all together which was great, and the vibe was fun and welcoming. The chips, salsa, and drinks were solid, and our server was friendly even though they had a lot on their plate with such a large party. That being said, the service ended up really slow and the food just didn't hit the mark. A few dishes came out lukewarm, and unfortunately several people in our group ended up with upset stomachs afterwards. It definitely took away from the overall experience. AZUL tequila has great food drinks and specials and although they're not the best Mexican food in town they're by far the best restaurant/ date night / sit down type place. I read about 4 negative ones and they really didn't mention anything that would keep me away so we went . Friendly staff from beginning to end ! We were sat a table as soon as we walked in . It was not packed but not empty the bar was full . Waitress came right away to get drink order . Food came out at a decent time . We were checked on multiple times by our friendly waitresses . She told us about the rodeo that was going on at the mosaic. Food was really good . Went and had Great Mexican yesterday in Bradenton ( review coming) so eas still in the mood today so tried this place much closer to home. Boy Im glad I did. Living 17 years in Phoenix I was used to the Sonoran Mexican styles of dishes but have a hard time finding the same here in the east. I had the Traditional Burrito lunch special. A shredded beef burrito ( with no fillers like most of the places ive been to where the burrito is like 75% rice and beans) All meat and cheese baby! And the rice and beans were on the side as they should be. And both were very tasty. Beans came in a little taco bowl. Loved that. No complaints at all. The pico de gallo was very tasty. It was very one note with no highs or lows on the plate. Bland would be how I would describe it. Good Mexican place at the middle of small town. It located along the SR 70 which easy to access. The interior are nicely decorated even it is in the small town. Nice Mexican decorations. The lunch special is about $6 to $7 different compared to the dinner. Obviously the dinner has bigger portion. We have order the Carne Asada with bean and rice. It come with choice of corn or flour tortillas. It also come with salsa and guacamole. The Carne Asada is a thin skirt steak. It is marinated with good flavor. The grilled skill is good that did not make the steak too charcoal. Meat is still soft and tender. The happy hour margarita make each glass less than $4. However, there alcohol is very light. We showed up with a party of six and they set us at a tiny table where we had no elbow room and refused to let us pull over a little two top to get more room. We asked for a manager.
