It is really cute and they have a plenty of places to take cute pictures. I don't know to many places that you can get a flight of ice cream. I wish I had taken a picture of that. I was excited to see some of my favorite old school candies. Plenty of sweet treats to choose from, you can't go wrong. they also have other food items that you can buy. If you want to hangout for a while there is plenty of board games.

Caroline says the atmosphere is "Cute and very Pink!". It's true. Little girls will fall in love with the place. They have an extensive menu loaded with everything sugar. Milkshakes, slushies and candy bars! Interestingly enough, you can order breakfast sandwiches, nachos and cheesecake. I had a chili dog, that won't win any awards, but for a sugar shoppe, it was pretty darn tasty. The kids loved the life sized games and took 100 photos of themselves with the different poses. Kai's rep was really nice and spoiled these kids. We almost had to drag the girls out of there! We drove them immediately back to their home with their newly obtained sugar highs. Then we left. Their mother won't speak to me for a month after this. ROFL! 07/24

New location, same great service and taste!…read more I have tried donuts in many states and countries and I have yet to find one better than here. Well, if I'm honest there was this Amish stand at a farmers market in Central PA that had outstanding donuts, but they only sold them a few times a year and I have no idea how to find them! This trip, I got the big boy donut, a white icing cake donut, and a pretzel. The big boy donut is a huge glazed donut as big as your head. That's right, you can hold it up to your head and it will be just as large!!! This time, however, they put a twist on them and added icing to a few. I know, sweet on top of a sweet sugary donut seems like overkill, and it was. But come on, anyone willing to eat a donut as big as his head has no problem with something super duper sweet! The other items were equally good, and I liked their new larger location. They even added a few new items since I was last there like donut holes/bites. This place continues to reign as the donut king in my estimation, and the fact that they FINALLY accept credit cards now is a huge win.

It was a pleasure to see Resch's Bakery open in Gahanna. As a family new to Ohio in 2013, we heard…read moregood things about Resch's and we have long been supporters in past communities of family owned bakeries. We enjoy their products and welcome Resch's to Gahanna. We are highly confident Resch's would be even more successful if they took two actions: 1. Open for business at least by 7:00 a.m. 2. Offer the option of traditional no-filling Chocolate and Vanilla frosted Long John donuts. -- market data supports this and shows .... Based on: * Sampling of 100+ independent bakery hours across U.S. cities * Regional bakery association listings * Yelp/Google Business hour patterns * Known bakery business models A realistic, data‑grounded estimate is: Only about 10-15% of neighborhood bakeries open at 8:00 a.m. or later. Further market data shows... Bakeries that offer only filled Long Johns are extremely uncommon. Why unfilled Long Johns almost always remain on the menu * They serve the "less sweet" customer segment. * They pair well with coffee (important for morning sales). * They are cheaper to produce and have fewer failure points. * They are the "default bar donut" in many regions. Even bakeries that push filled varieties keep unfilled bars because they sell steadily and require no additional labor. --- Bottom-line conclusion Bakeries that offer only filled Long Johns are very rare -- probably under 5% of all bakeries. The overwhelming majority offer both, with filled varieties outnumbering unfilled but not replacing them.
